Waste of money. Better off putting each payment in an account for your dog early in thier life. They make it out as if certain plans will pay but when you have issue with your dog, not even 25 percent of th cost is covered. Been paying for major medical for my dog for years. I pay more a year than when they are insuring for his surgery. Not even a fraction. Stay away.

The first agent was very understanding of an extremely unfortunate slip up on our part to continue our insurance when Nationwide discontinued our original policy. The second agent was extremely helpful in asking us if we were a part of any employee group offering which wonderfully brought us back on board with a new policy!!

I liked the website and the various programs that you offer, but I didn't like the wait period before you could approve us for a policy.

Very disappointed! Nationwide pet insurance last year sent me multiple mails saying that the pet plan was going to be ended after November. What my husband and I understood from the misleading language that they used was that they were discontinuing that type of plan, so I asked my husband to look for another company. We started to pay a whole new plan with another company, and guess what? They were charging us this whole time. $600 dollars went to the trash can pretty much. They had the audacity to not send us any mail in the meantime, saying that it got renewed successfully or anything like that. Watch out!
