I’m a sitter who has spent a considerable amount of time undertaking training, obtaining a police check and preparing a profile.

When the time came to submit references the Petcloud program would only allow references submitted directly from referees.

Unfortunately one of my referees made an error and sent his reference, edited it and then resubmitted.

The program uploaded both references from him without providing an option to delete the first.

My referee and I have both contacted Petcloud at least 10 times over a period of six weeks asking them to delete the first reference.

All calls have not been followed up or returned and the two references remain published.

I have never been treated with so much apparent contempt by a working partner and feel I would no longer trust them in the event of an emergency.

Very disappointed and annoyed.

Update: less than an hour after submitting this review I got multiple phone calls at 9pm from a no caller ID number. Concerned it might be police because of the persistence of the calling I answered to discover it was Petcloud telling me that my review was unfair and that the reason my call had not been returned was because the company shared a switchboard with the RSPCA who field animal abuse calls.

In terms of priority my request for my profile reference to be edited was pretty low. Who can argue with that? Not me.

The response from Petcloud posted below refers to exchanges that took place approximately one year ago.

There are a number of inaccuracies. I have supporting documentation for everything I have said above; my request for assistance did not go on for a week as claimed - It went on for over a month.

It was not copying and pasting referees, it was deleting duplicate references, one with errors.

It is unprofessional to assure assistance over a period of weeks with not one follow up.

Furthermore I was removed from the Petcloud site by the Managing Director on the night I posted this review, my password no longer giving me access to my profile.

Also, despite calling Petcloud (after being removed from the site) to request that a client I had been booked be informed, I later heard the message had not been passed on leaving them without a sitter.

Always had good experience from the people from Pet Cloud.

Annie was fantastic. Our dog was so happy and content, and I loved getting updates on how she was doing. She was made to feel at home and part of the family. We will definitely be back!!

Jasmine was terrific. She let us know when she arrived at our house and how our dogs were doing. Would definitely use her again.

Booking through PetCloud is fabulous and so simple. Holly is a wonderful pet sitter! We received daily updates on how Marcy was doing including videos, texts and a couple of video calls. We also arrived home to find the house had been cleaned and the dishes and washing was done. Holly genuinely loves animals so we felt completely at ease leaving our precious girl in her hands. We will definitely contact Holly through PetCloud for our next holiday and highly recommend her and PetCloud!

This was the first time we used a pet sitter, my partner and I were worried to have someone we don't know stay in our house but we saw Anna had really good reviews so I thought she would make the experience easier, she did! Anna house sat for us for a week to look after our beautiful old girl, Bella. Anna did such a awesome job, I don't know why I was so worried! She sent us pictures and kept us up to date while we were away, nothing was to much trouble. She even cleaned the house when she left! Would definitely recommend Anna to look after your pets and look after your house, THANKS ANNA!

Excellent service, easy to use and great people involved. Peace of mind with the various checks and qualifications that can be easily ticked off.

We would have found it a struggle to move to the Sunshine Coast with having no one to look after our two year old West Highland Terrier.
So having Petcloud come to our rescue was a blessing, they offer a
Professional service linking pet owners with recommend sitters within their area. They also provide confirmation emails that specify date and time for both the sitter and the pet Owner.
So I would highly recommend this company.

Jessica looked after our 2 cats and did a superb job. She gave us regular daily updates with photographs and I could not have been happier leaving them in her care. I came home to a very tidy house and 2 happy cats.

PetCloud I came across three years ago where I met my now good friend Nicole. I have since become a sitter myself and met many amazing families and their beloved pets. Highly recommended, a place to meet safe and trusting families to mind your loved ones.

We have used PetCloud twice already and had a very positive experience both times - our dog sitter was reliable, communicated well and the dogs were happy! We will be using them again for our next holiday 😊

We had some concerns about leaving our dog at kennels whilst on holiday. PetCloud introduced us to Maree who looks after our dog Lyon. Lyon loves going to stay with her. PetCloud is very easy to use with filters that help you find the right petsitter. We recommend PetCloud highly.

Have used a few times and would highly recommend to anyone. Always professional and I am comfortable leaving my little man at home when I go away

Pet cloud has been an amazing find for our family and such an awesome resource. We have been able to find awesome local pet sitters for our gorgeous puppy and love the service they provide. With Pet clouds liability insurance for sitter negligence you have extra piece of mind and the extra added bonuses of pics of our pet while we are away another way we get piece of mind whilst away.

Not a great user experience. Its a great initiative, but the site needs lots of improvements. Its not intuitive and has lots of backend problems. Six months ago I used it for the first time and I end up paying twice (I got a reimbursed in a couple of weeks thou).

And a couple of weeks ago y posted a job again, and the messaging section stoped working and I couldn't contact the sitters.
After a couple of emails with them I have lost the interest and now Im looking for an alternative option

I enjoyed using Petcloud in the beginning and it helped me find a great sitter. After an experience where I tried to claim on insurance as my dog got gastro enteritous from being nervous around the frequent thunderstorms while we were away over two weeks - unforseeable. Insurance did not cover this. So I got my own insurance and I don't use petcloud any longer as it was the insurance part that gave me reason to continue using them. Not only that, the Pet sitter has to pay the excess. I don't want to lose my pet sitter by always making them pay the excess. Anyhow, this isn't working out for me at this time.

Caring, Friendly, Reliable
We had a wonderful lady come to our house daily to feed our 3 cats, 4 birds and 2 dogs. She brought our mail and bins in. Took the dogs for daily walks and thoroughly spoilt all of them. Bonus was sending up photos by text to keep us updated. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

All good. But you lose points for not having an app.

I have used Petcloud several times to arrange sitting for my cat. I have found the pet sitters responsive, reliable and trustworthy and would not use any other website to find a pet sitter.
