Great if you have no coins, don't have to worry about running back to the car, you can just top up on the app.

Availability
The availability is great - the admin charge is not so great for infrequent users. Also to add a car to pay for a friends parking is costly, as there is a charge to add and if you forget to remove its an ongoing charge also.
@Payzone - Thank you for your reply and information on how the app can be used for infrequent users. Very much appreciated.
Given this new information, I will change my account as suggested and I have increased the review rating.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, we’re happy to hear you found the availability great, we continue to work on expanding the locations in the app.
For infrequent users, we do have a pay as you go option. There’s no monthly maintenance fee, just a €0.35 convenience charge per parking session. This option provides access to parking only and doesn’t include the extra services and benefits that come with our account based option, such as tolling or discounts on fuel and car washes.
To switch to PAYG, first you will need to close your existing account by emailing parking@payzone.ie, then delete and reinstall the app and select 'Park without account.' for the PAYG option.

Such a handy app
Such a handy app, this has taken all the hassle out of parking and looking for meters, trying to guesstimate how long to pay for. Previously I'd always over pay " just in case". Now I can do the opposite, pay for the least amount of time I think I'll be, safe in the knowledge that if I haven't finished whatever I'm doing I can easily top up the meter without having to run back to the car to do so. I highly recommend Payzone.

Very useful app and straight forward
Very useful app and straight forward. One minus star because very often you pay more time than you used. A similar app in Portugal, for example, returns the extra payment to your account. It would be perfect if Payzone did the same.

Car parking made easy
Have the Payzone car parking app - very handy and would be lost without it . Easy to use and would definitely recommend . Have been able to park any car I’m driving in , even at the last minute .

Hi, is there any way of getting a reply from Payzone without writing a negative review online? I've been trying to close my account for 5 weeks, since 29th Oct. I've sent approx 8 emails and not a single reply from a human.

Our helpdesk team replied to both of your emails, in October and November. In order to close your registered account and refund the remaining balance, they had requested for you to share the below details for verification, which we are yet to receive from you.
- Mobile number
- Vehicle registration
- Last four digits of the card on your account
- Expiry date of the card
If you could reply to your existing case email with this information, or send it directly to parking@payzone.ie, we’ll be able to process the closure and refund.
