Charges Monthly fee without transparency

Charges a monthly fee but this is not made clear at all on sign up and payment. Then to cancel it is made very clunky by having to email them
Feels like it is purposely hiding fees to drive revenue
No problem with paying a fee every time
I use an app to park but don’t charge me a monthly fee when I’m not using it

We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with the monthly maintenance fee.
The associated charges are outlined on our website, in the app store listing, throughout the registration process and in our Terms & Conditions before an account is created.

We do also offer too account types, to suit different habits:

- 'Full Access' which is €1.29 per vehicle, per month and includes parking, as well as access to additional services such as tolling and off-street parking. It also includes partner benefits, such as a discount on fuel at Circle K and on car washes at Applegreen. On average, customers save around €3.50 a month using these offers.

- 'Parking Only' option which has no monthly fee, instead it charges a €0.35 convenience fee only when you park.

If you only use the app occasionally for parking and don’t need the additional 'Full Access' services, 'Parking Only' may be a better option for you. You can switch your payment method in the app at any time by going to Account > Payment Options.

Customer service is always great

Customer service is always great! Quick and efficient. Jo got back to me very quickly by email today when I accidentally paid twice overlapping the same hour and refunded me. Thanks Jo!
I've always found them very approachable and friendly.

A great customer service experience

I sent a query in late last night and got an email before 8 am this morning asking what time suited for a phone call. Jo was the customer service rep, she resolved my issue immediately plus offered other options that would save me some money. She was pleasant and very professional. It was a great customer experience.

Monthly charge scam

Monthly charge scam. I had no idea i was paying a monthly fee for nothing. I used the service once a year ago.Payzone are no better than scammers.

Good customer service

I mistakenly paid by hour at Dart station recently, and after topping up a second time and still not back at the station I emailed for help, as I was afraid I'd be clamped or fined and I'd already overpaid. Through my own fault. I got such a great response from Jo. She told me how to do it correctly on the app, and even refunded me €3.25 as a goodwill gesture. I was very grateful for her help, and impressed with the custome service.

Overall a great app and great support

Overall a great app, supereasy to use.
Ran into a problem in adding a new card having cancelled a previous one due to attempted fraud, emailed support and Jo instantly diagnosed the problem the problem (me!) offered a self help solution and I was back in action immediately. Thank you Payzone and Jo.
Lesson to all - people matter - no AI slop!

Excellent Payzone customer service

I am in no way trying to be mean here

I am in no way trying to be mean here, but when contacting Payzone for a issue I had on my account, with a not so great experience perception across the board with subscription/payments based companies over the years, either through lack of staff (staff doing too much with less) or lack of training, or a human touch absent, I have to give 100% and top marks an my apologies to Payzone. I have delightfully been looked after and responded to promply, quickly comprehensively and decisively. 1st, the quick response and continued follow up and I get to talk to a person if I want to - magic! 2) The staff - Jo who was dealing with & consistently follow up/chased me for the support, which I was delighted about and appreciated it, but just goes to show how this team/staff/Jo are client front and center in my scenario. Thank you, keep up the great work Payzone, please don't let these standard drop, they are rare these days! My best, Darren Donaldson

Amazing customer service from Jo today

Amazing customer service from Jo today. I entered an incorrect digit for my telephone number when setting up an account and hit a road block. Jo responded to my email within 5 mins and subsequently phoned me. She clearly explained what I needed to do to sort. A great experience. Thanks Jo.
