Excellent Patient Care
I have had a pleasure to be patient of Optical Express for one and half year. I had a bilateral cataract surgery with them. My patient advisor was Victoria, along with Carie and Keiden. Victoria answered all my concerns and questions satisfactorily. Sometimes my questions were repeatedly the same but Victoria always calmed me down and always told me to relax. She understood that this was my first surgery and thus I was apprehensive. For a patient advisor to have emotional intelligence is important and Victoria has high emotional intelligence. She doesn’t hurry you to get her job done or hurry to get people to get on with it. Victoria gave me ample time to answer my questions and get to the surgery table. Having said that Carie and Keiden have also been there with me through out. Carie and Keiden also helped me when I asked them. My optometrist was Emma, who checked my eyes many times. 
My surgery was a breeze. My vision was clear as soon as I got the surgery. I had no problems and complications. Victoria was right all along. My vision prior to surgery was extremely poor since childhood. I could not see 5 inches away from my eyes. After surgery my distance vision is 20/10, which are eagle eyes in humans. I can read fine print without spectacles as well. I use readers in certain lights, or very long readings. I am glasses free 95% of the time. My eye surgeon at optical express was brilliant. The lenses I was suggested and implanted in my eyes are enhanced mono-focal lenses with blended vision. I did have to get YAG, after a few month of my cataract surgery which was also very easy. YAG didn’t require lying down, numbing drops, or sedation . I was explained everything and shown my eye scans before I was discharged by Optical Express.
I am glad I chose Optical Express for my life changing journey. I thank Optical Express wonderful staff who was with me through out my journey. I will highly recommend optical express to everyone. They gave me the best option for me. I will advise everyone to trust the expert advise of Optical Express. Optical Express will give their patients best advise. I will choose Optical Express every time.

PS- my surgery was July last year. However, I was dealing with Optical Express regarding my cataract surgery prior to that.

Seen gemma for my eye test today and she was so professional as well as the other staffs I met.

I called optical express wanting a check up on my lens replacement surgery. Its been 8 months since the surgery. I've been abroad for the last 3 months, so this is the first chance I have of going to see them after the 6 months beding in, getting used to it period. I was told that given my symptons I should go in to see them within 24hours. I cannot do that, can't just drop life, take a day off work with no notice at all. So I asked for another option. The only other option is a later appointment which I have to pay for.

Was tested in ST.Enochs today. Yvonne helped me with my glasses.It was very professional and the staff were so good.

A fantastic team here at Optical Express made my lens replacement easy and wow - what a difference the new lenses have made! The aftercare has been great. Iwana (and especially Louisa) in reception deserve a special mention for their warm welcome, efficiency and cups of tea to steady my nerves. Hamish took the time to explain everything pre and post surgery while my new lenses settled in. I now have better than 20:20 vision having struggled for years with long sightedness.

We came to the Kilmarnock Rd branch today . The staff were lovely. They explained exactly what would happen . We had a bit of a giggle as well. It was a very positive experience.

Expertise and knowledge is 100% as advertised and procedure carried out without any problems on both eyes.

Aftercare by staff members is 5* re-appointments are very quick. I would recommend OPTICAL EXPRESS to anyone who is thinking about eye surgery.

Had lens replacement in Great Portland Street with initial contact through the Uxbridge centre. Vina, Saima,Gutfam and Baljit were lovely to deal with, very informative and professional throughout which made the whole experience very easy to navigate. Procedure took less than 10 mins per eye and I didn’t feel any thing. There’s an option of paying up front or having a payment plan which works for everyone. I would highly recommend this procedure as over time it literally pays for itself. I look forward to a life that’s glasses and contact lenses free. Thank you to all the staff involved for making it a lovely stress free experience

My lens replacement surgery at Optical Express was excellent. The customer care was reassuring, well‑organised, and every step was clearly explained. The aftercare felt genuinely supportive. I now have better than 20/20 vision, and the improvement is remarkable. I must say that due to my intolerance to anaesthetic I did find the procedure itself uncomfortable but I still would not hesitate to confidently recommend Optical Express to anyone considering lens replacement.

Went in for a routine eye test and the staff at the Dumbarton High Street branch were very helpful and able to answer any questions.

I had my consultation with Kerry and Junaid at Leeds White Rose Centre branch. The consultation went very smooth and I felt very informed about the whole procedure. Everything was done in a professional manner and the staff there were very lovely. At first I was feeling a bit off about this because it seems very scary but Kerry told me about how she felt about it and how her surgery went and it made me feel more confident and I can’t wait for it happen! I do recommend this branch if anyone is interested in laser eye surgery because I was very informed.

I’ve been coming to Optical Express since I was a teenager, the team have always been so helpful and when I decided to get laser eye surgery they were delighted for me. Jenny called me after I booked my consultation and talked me through it, on the day she was so informative and has just been so helpful & supportive throughout the whole process, as have the whole team. I couldn’t recommend them more, thanks guys!
