Left without urgent follow-up care for surgical complication
I had surgery here on June 13th and at the aftercare appointment the following day diagnosed with flap striae. And told to hqve another apointment 2 days later at my local optical expresswho tokd me the surgeon would need to review it i recived a call 2 hours later to go back to harley street that same day. The surgeon advised waiting four weeks to see if it flattened out naturally. It did not, and several appointments at the local clinic waiting for the surgical team to contact me to arrange an apointment I am now at week six with zero contact from the harley street clinic to arrange the required flap lift.
The vision in my right eye is significantly impaired its like a piece of sellotape is over it and worse than it was pre-surgery. The lack of proactive aftercare and communication regarding a time-sensitive complication is highly disappointing. I need the clinic to contact me urgently to get this corrected.

Very satisfactory
Taken slightly after my appointment time but staff were polite and friendly with attention to cleanliness of instruments and explanation of costs of new glasses. I did have to ask about discount for over 60’s as I was being offered the money off for being a direct debit customer and the former was a better deal

Fantastic service from start to finish
Fantastic service from start to finish. Diva in the Aberdeen branch is lovely and very knowledgeable and talks you through everything. Georgina at reception in Edinburgh was also lovely and very reassuring following my procedure. All the staff have been helpful at every step of the way. The procedure itself was nerve racking at first but i was reassured by the nurses and the surgeon and suffered no complications. The only uncomfortable part was the pressure part of the machine they use where your eyes feel like there’s a suction cup on them, but the laser itself was the easy part. The recovery part was not pleasant as you just keep tearing up and your eyes want to naturally close but not painful. Follow up was smooth and I was reassured that my vision is now 20/20 :) thank you to the whole lovely team including some fantastic staff who made sure I was comfortable during the procedure.
