I wish I'd checked with Trustpilot before using Microsoft 365 as I can now see just how badly they are rated.
Appalling customer service. I was chatting online with a customer service representative. I had to leave the chat and was promised a call back, this did not happen. A week later I opted to ring them regarding the same issue and the representative would not take on board what I was telling her and proceeded to hang up. I'm switching to Google Drive.

Onedrive is incredibly slow and the 'personal vault' has poor functionality

It is very difficult trying to cancel a Microsoft Office Subscribtion. 7/5/26 MS Office charged my account the annual $108.24, when I tried to cancel and get my money back, they told me I need my account information. The reason I cancelled is because I no longer have the laptop that I had that subscription on and I can't access the email. Microsoft has no other way around cancelling my subscription and refunding my money except to tell me to call my bank and do a stop payment. Today 8/18/26 I received a letter from my bank a month later telling me that there was no wrong doing on MS Office part. This means that If I don't cancel this subscription Microsoft will take $108.24 every year from my bank. I want this subscription cancelled and I want my money back.

Mehrfach habe ich Word Online für wichtige Notizen genutzt und auf einmal wurden einige Bulletpoints, sogar welche vom Vortag, einfach gelöscht. Wie kann das sein? Noch ein Grund zu Google Docs zu wechseln. Einfach eine Frechheit!

Mein Outlook wurde gehacked.
Es war mir nicht möglich den Sachverhalt mit einem Menschen zu klären.
Ich muss mich permanent auf meinem handy wegen office365 neu anmelden.
Nie wieder,ist ja leider nicht möglich es sei denn ich kauf ein apple gerät.

MS versucht seit Jahren die Anwender zu einem Jahresabonnement zu zwingen. Die Qualität lässt jedoch immer mehr zu wünschen übrig. Beispielsweise ist es mir in letzter Zeit mehrfach passiert, dass eine email nicht oder mit mehreren Stunden Verspätung versandt wurde. Und dies ohne dass ich benachrichtigt wurde!

To offer even a star is a step to far, it's almost impossible to renew my micro soft office 365. You follow steps to renew, a white screen with micro soft / challenge appears. its takes you no further therefore your unable to access your spread sheets etc. The assistant online states you should remove all cookies on PC after doing so your left facing same issue. I would appreciate a call from customer care to offer further guidance.

I cannot find the words to describe my contempt for Microsoft. In what other industry is it acceptable to buy a product only for the manufacturer to take complete control of that product, constantly mess up its operation AND all the while hound you with adverts??!!!! It is total bull*hit.

Well MicrosHi*, congratulations, you have finally pushed me so far I have now jumped ship. And what a revelation it's been. With Apple, there is no subscription for basic things like email and word processing as it's all comes in the package free.

So long MS, you totally money grabbing morons. Your days are numbered.

I had four access to Microsoft Office 365 on my Mac with all my work documents or my historic documents. Everything I need and now everything is blocked. I can’t open all view or edit or make any new documents whatsoever without signing up to a £85 a year subscription.
Any excuse just to rob your money grab your money from people because they can’t earn it themselves

Awful awful awful - the customer service is just not there. To call it rubbish is to praise it. AI responses all the time. Go for Apple.

We bought Office 2019 and always have issues with authentication.
It is the biggest load of garbage. Microsoft are complete idiots and make it impossible for people who have bought Office to use it. I will be calling the Office of Fair Trade in Australia and making a complaint.

Yesterday I had full access to office 365 today they have decided to deny me access to my documents to edit or print because I gave a computer I can’t update odd it worked fine yesterday but not today. Still taking my money. Disgusting corrupt individuals. Dreadful company with no ethics. No apology ignorant & arrogant. Worst company ever

I have now spent 3.5 hours locked out of word. The only part of the process that went smoothly was the taking of the payment, which happened in seconds. I am on a proofreading deadline. After my money was gone from my account - three and a half hours ago - nada. I have installed - installed again - signed out - signed back in ............. it's just me an AI. I feel like the victim of a scam. Customer service - disgraceful, sorry non-existent. Your bots are ridiculously limited. Anyway I'll get back to trying to unlock Word and spend the next year looking for an alternative to Microsoft.

Microsoft 365 is horrible, my work emails end up in people's junk folders all the time. The customer service is the worst i have ever encountered,i'd strongly advise avoiding at all costs

Extremely bad software. Basic fatures like saving don't work. I cannot recommend this piece of junk. Especially since there are free alternatives that are much better. I will be cancelling my subscription.

But where does SUBSCRIPTIONS coming in from. Cleaverly taken my BANK ACCOUNT details by the CURRYS PC WORLD WHITECHAPEL BRANCH IN LONDON that to checked am I Sayeda Parvin afterwards terribly targeting taken my money, Offered was free SUBSCRIPTIONS aswell Bundle Softwares with the LAPTOP. CRIMES WATCH also TECHNOLOGIES Departments I would like to complaints please catch up these Culprits Criminals as totally illegal breaches of Laws momy scamming from anyone's BANK or either CASH money. Customers be advised whoever doesn't want 365 buy only LAPTOP not to put yourself into the traps then buy from different COMPUTER shops only SOFTWARES wherever doesn't required BANK details. microsoft have no live beings, just robots, but charging me for an account I can't get into. shocking bunch of fraudsters

I have been having horrible issues using Microsoft Co-Pilot to enhance photos or create illustrations. It just started failing every time several weeks ago, always telling me to try again. So, I finally decided to pay the extra money for the premium service to resolve the issue, but it did not and now I'm stuck paying them around another $10 a month for ZERO VALUE!! Because my photo enhancements and Illustrations are still FAILING!! Do not TRUST THEM!!!

God help you if you ever need support for this product. Had a massive problem with migrating data to 365 and their fixes just broke other parts of the software. Their permissions system is a total disaster. Fixing Outlook, wrecked access to OneDrive and OneNote. 200 hours so far to try and fix the problem. Its the worst support in the business. Outsourced to India with very low quality advisors who barely understand English and never bother to read anything properly answering just the 1 question they want to and ignoring the rest. It takes 3 to 5 days for EACH reply by email and if you go on the phone they will have you running in circles for several hours. This software is not fit or purpose without proper support. They have refused all requests for refunds without so much as an explanation as to why. They have acknowledged the issue is at their end but so far Im 2 months and counting without proper access to core business products. If you have another choice instead of Microsoft like Google which is simpler I would choose that otherwise your stuck paying fortunes to MS Partners s to pay to fix MS crap products. I'll be doing a chargeback and sending them a bill for any extra time for MSPs to resolve it.
