I have used this company before as a drop in to collect fuel.
I have just signed up for them to deliver heating oil to my new home.
Really happy with the service and Sue was great and very helpful.

I have used this company for over 10 years and always had the best of service, from the call handlers to the delivery men.
They find the best prices available and delivery at your convenience and as quick as possible.
Will not use any other company

Where do I start? Disgusting service. Absolutely disgusting. I ordered fuel last week. I waited for a week for them to "deliver" the oil. I waited all day on Thursday (the day they promised to deliver), cancelled all my activities to make sure I'm in. The company guaranteed it'd be delivered on Thursday. Ok, I'm waiting. No communication from them as per usual. I called them in the afternoon. They said it'd be delivered tomorrow first thing in the morning. I cancelled what I planned on Friday so I can receive the order. I waited, called, waited. No time given. In the afternoon they are calling me to tell me they are cancelling my order because our tank is high and they need to climb the ladder to fill it. They have filled that tank before. Never said anything. Suddenly it became a problem and they told me about it on the delivery day when the delivery was already late. I have no words to describe how I feel. Disappointed would not be strong enough. I feel dead inside from all their lies and false promises. I hope I manage to find someone to deliver the oil before we run out of it as I have been waiting for a week for their failed delivery. You have been warned if you are thinking to deal with this lying company.

We have been customers with NWF Fuels for a number of years & have always found them fair & reliable with excellent customer care. We would like to mention one employee in particular, Sue Grice, who has been so helpful & reassuring during our recent move, going that extra mile, ensuring that everyone is kept in the ‘loop’ during our recent house move.

As our new home does not have oil fired central heating we are having to switch, so sadly NWF Fuels services are no longer required. We would highly recommend them.

Awful service. Keep trying them but always let me down so will never use them again. Didn’t put urgent order through so fuel never arrived. Still haven’t refunded money they owe me, promised a week ago and still not had it. Told to call ahead Office as they couldn’t help! They’re just keeping hold of it and it’s poor service yet again.

I have been using NWF for 23 years since oil was installed at the house.
NWF have been so supportive, competitive and helpful for all those years and again they haven't let me down.
I ordered yesterday after running out in the evening, they promised we would have oil before the weekend and after lunch they confirmed delivery would be today.
They have fulfilled their promises and the oil has been delivered.
The boiler fired-up first time, which was my next worry, and the radiators are already warming.

Delivery was specified for a certain day.
Because of access issues, I needed to be there for to meet the delivery.
No confirmation of order received from NWF.
Instructions ignored and driver turned up 3 days early, and wondered why he couldn't get in!

Spoke to Orders, told them the problem and requested delivery on the specified date, 3 days ahead. They couldn't do it.
Cancelled the order and I went to another supplier
(Beesley Fuels - Highly recommend!)

I was promised that payment would not be taken until delivery. This was a lie. They had taken full payment on placement of order.
Had to chase them for a refund.

Later, two months after an engineers visit for a small repair, I had not received an invoice (despite requesting one), but I did receive a reminder email and later an email containing a nasty threat of legal action.

Credit Control has no credit and no control, but it is still better than NWF's Customer Service!

All in all, I had problems with Ordering, Delivery, Accounts, Credit Control & Customer Service.
Is there anyone left at NWF who CAN do their job properly? Judge for yourself, but if you heed my advice, AVOID any company associated with NWF Fuels.

I ordered heating oil on 27th November, to be delivered by 11th December. On the 13th Dec I rang to ask where it was, their tanker couldn't fit down the lane but no one actually spoke to me about this. I politely asked for a refund and was fobbed off multiple times by phone and email. FINALLY got my refund (of £570+) today on 10th January. They were happy for my money to sit in their account for forty five days, despite me telling them on the 13th Dec that my heating oil was on emergency low level (wouldn't have been if they'd delivered, which they have done in the past!). I am disabled with young children and I will never, ever be using this company again, the staff are rude, dismissive and also lie about bothering to process refunds in anyhting even resembling a normal timeframe. Absolute disgrace of a set up, I would give zero stars if I could.

Miffed, phoned 3 times over 3 days for kero price quoted circa 75ppl, advised them I can get it 12ppl cheaper elsewhere no movement on the price, So I ordered it elsewhere, GUESS WHO it is being delivered by, NWF! Think they are possibly just overcharging as it is Pre Christmas.

Awful, abusive and threatening telephone calls received from their Accounts section today - with regards to a failed Delivery. I have previously tried to rectify this matter but received no response to my request for over 3 months - email trail evidence. Then was bombarded with aggressive threatening and abusive telephone calls today for which I asked for recording of - but conveniently apparently they don’t record their conversations. Be wary of this company as my experience of their Customer Service has been extremely poor! Quick to take your money but very slow to respond to any errors!

Impressed with the office for taking the order over the phone, helpful and courteous also delivery quite soon after making order.

We did not require an urgent delivery so the delivery arrived as stated on the confirmation. Competive price as well so no issues at all.
Added service is when you phone a human talks to you and not a machine.
