Disappointing Experience – Would Strongly Recommend Looking Elsewhere
We stayed at Cleopatra 2 for four nights as a group of 12 to celebrate a special birthday. While the villa itself is attractive and has potential, it falls short of the "luxury" label it's marketed under. For instance, only 10 outdoor chairs/sun loungers were available, there were just 5 wine glasses for 12 guests, the coffee machine had no filters provided, and some fixtures, like the shower heads, were scaled up and poorly maintained.
A major issue was the ongoing construction noise starting at 7am each morning, continuing throughout the day. Although construction is not under the host’s control, the complete lack of prior warning or any goodwill gesture was disappointing and showed little regard for guest experience.
The most troubling aspect of our stay occurred at breakfast when one of the dining chairs suddenly collapsed while being used normally. We reported the incident immediately, only to be told we were responsible for paying for a new chair. Despite explaining multiple times that the chair failed due to wear and not misuse, the situation escalated unnecessarily. We were also accused of causing additional damage, including cigarette burns—despite no one in our group being a smoker.
On our departure day, Chris—representing the management—confronted us in an unprofessional and threatening manner. He refused to engage in any reasonable discussion, insisted we pay €280 on the spot, and physically blocked our taxis from leaving the property until we complied under pressure. The situation felt deeply uncomfortable and needlessly confrontational.
This review isn’t about the money—it’s about the completely unprofessional handling of what should have been a straightforward issue. There are many villa companies on the island that likely treat their guests with more respect and integrity. I would recommend exploring those instead.

The fact is that as a company, both our Sales Representative and the MD herself, invested ample time for many many months before your arrival, in advising you, sending you links to hip beach bars and restaurants, responding to all of your extra requests like massages, yoga, yachts, car rentals, chefs etc, and, what’s more, we offered complimentary transfer for 10 pax plus luggage from and to the Airport with a Mercedes Benz Van which you gladly accepted and used.
In addition we checked you in late at night, way beyond the villa’s check in time, and at a time in the night outside our working office hours, and, most importantly we accepted to check you in even though – as per your signed agreement- you did NOT provide the security deposit required by all villas of this calibre worldwide.
On the day after your arrival, our MD personally contacted you in written via WhatsApp asking you if “everything was ok” and you responded “Everything is great!!!! Thank you” using FOUR exclamation marks!
We were never informed -but only until the last day- that there was -indeed- a bulldozer at a land plot nearby making noise (which any way is not something we knew or could control as the Law allows the operation of construction sites during specific hours). We don’t understand, as the chair did break as per your own confession and having described the how, how and why this specific damage of the total cost of 420 euros (280 euros for the chair replacement and 130 euros for the delivery from Salonica) should be in anyway an offset to the noise that some random nearby construction site made during your stay.
Yet, and having NO security deposit from you, we AGREED to split the cost with you, as you paid the chair cost and we will pay the delivery costs from the shop in Salonica to the villa. So, we DID split the damage born by you, and we are both surprised and sad to see this review after all the extra miles we walked for your convenience, which by the way is something we do for both low budget reservations like yours and for VIP guests from around the globe. We have always been praised both by individuals and corporations, in thousands of ways literally, for our high-quality sophisticated services.

We booked a 4 night stay in Cleopatra 2 for a group of 12 for a significant birthday. The villa itself is absolutely lovey although I would question the "luxury" touches - understocked with only 10 outside chairs / sun loungers, 5 glass wjne goblets for 12 people, filters not provided for coffee machine, scaled uo shower heads as examples
We were woken at 7am each morning by incredibly loud pneumatic drilling from a nearby construction site. Whilst we understand this is beyond the control of the villa operator, each day this continued non stop until around 4pm. At no point prior to arriving had we been made aware of this nor was there any gesture to compensate for the inconvenience.
The real issue that spoiled what should have been a wonderful experience was that on our 2nd night, a (presumably already damaged) chair gave way when one of our party was sitting down at the dinner table. We proactively reported this the following morning and were surprised to be told that we were expected to cover the full cost of a replacement. We explained several times that this did not break this through mistreatment of the chair but instead it simply gave way. After various other accusations of damage to the other chairs - cigarette burns (no smokers in our party), stains etc it became apparent that we were not going to easily reach a mutually agreed position.
On our day of departure Chris arrived and very quickly became aggressive and extremely threatening in his tone and mannerisms. Refusing to listen to any rational explanation that the chair had given way, he then told us very aggressively that he would not let us leave the villa and instead he would call the police. He then blocked our taxis from allowing us to leave the villa until we handed over €280.
To be clear, it was never about the money but the unpleasant and unreasonable treatment and handling of the whole situation.
Proceed with caution with this company. I'm sure there are many other luxury rental companies on the island who are more deserving of your business.

AVOID- Beautiful Property, But Disappointing Experience and Service with threatening manager - AVOID
We were a group of 12 professional ladies who recently stayed at a Mykonos Luxury property to celebrate a significant birthday and while the home itself was beautiful and well-located, our experience was far from what you'd expect from a “luxury” stay.
From the moment we arrived, we encountered major noise disruption with construction starting every morning at 7am, making it impossible to sleep in or enjoy a peaceful holiday. This continued throughout all four days of our stay and significantly affected our ability to relax.
To make matters worse, a chair that was already in poor condition, broke whilst we were sitting on it. Although we offered to pay the company and split the cost 50/50 (as a compromise for the noise disruption) we felt it was unfair to be expected to pay in full considering the noise issues we endured the entire time.
The manager arrived on the morning of departure and threatened to call the police, verbally abused us (causing excessive distress) and tried to stop us leaving the island unless we paid in full for the chair.
We feel there should have been compromise on both sides for the broken chair and constant noise distribution that ruined our holiday. We finally paid in full to avoid missing our flight and further threatening behaviour.
For a brand that promotes itself as offering high-end service and comfort, we were very disappointed by the lack of accountability and consideration. We won’t be booking with Mykonos Luxury again, and we would suggest to others to think about using another villa provider.

You said we couldn’t leave the island and told our taxi driver not to drive us to the airport.
Your behaviour was SO EXTREME and AGGRESSIVE that YOUR OWN MEMBER OF STAFF TOLD YOU TO CALM DOWN
We have nothing to gain by telling lies apart from to warn other people of your behaviour.
You are desperately trying to diguise the truth that 12 people, 2 x taxi drivers and 1 junior member of your team were witness to.
Perhaps this is how you treat ‘low budget’ guests, your words not ours?!

Fantastic day cruise to Paros
From my first contact with John to arrange the charter to Alex the Captain and Celia the hostess has been fantastic.
John took time to understand our requirements, was quick in response to any questions and ensured we had a great charter.
Alex, a true pro ensured we went to some great places, supplied us with fun filled facts, local knowledge and was great fun but always had our safety and enjoyment as his first priority.
