I had a shipping issue with my first order, that later turned out to be my own fault, I wrote to Montefortuna Cigars right away and told them about my problem. The customer service representative, Vanessa - at Montefortuna Support, was a great help and very kind to the end. I have my cigars and they are perfect, just as described. I will be buying from this company for the foreseeable future!!

What I found was that Pamela was one of the most exceptional people I have ever worked with. It wasn't just advice on how to deal with my order, which was held up, it was that she was looking for ways to solve the problem and not give up! I really enjoyed working with her and am looking forward to future purchases because of her.

The VIP customer service is above any experience one could hope for. Their website is easy to navigate and the selection and prices are why I shop here as you should. They standby their customers and the guarantee of delivery is no joke. I think I’ve bought 50 or more boxes and will continue to be a loyal customer. Btw…Mark is the best.

Though I havent ordered anything from them yet, I had a few questions I needed answered. Pamela was such a huge help and responded to me quickly and she was very friendly and knowledgeable!!!

I had what could have been a nightmare experience with an online retailer, especially one located on another continent: Through no fault of mine (or theirs), my order didn't arrive.

Two of the things that make shopping online ubiquitous are (1) a guaranteed delivery-or-refund policy the seller stands by; and (2) good communication by the seller.

I'm pleased to say that Montefortuna, and Zaira, who I dealt with in my communications with customer support, did everything they could to maintain my trust.

Their site guarantees delivery and they stood by it, even though they had to refund me several hundred dollars for products shipped that I didn't receive and they didn't get back.

In addition, as these aren't face-to-face transactions, my disappointment could have been compounded - even if I ultimately got my refund - by frustrating email communications during the time they had my money and I had to go through the process with them of getting it back.

At each part of the process, Zaira replied to my emails within a day, clearly explained the refund process, received and provided information, and helped me understand how it would all play out.

Thank you Zaira and Montefortuna. Obviously, I'd have preferred to receive the shipment but their candor and promptness made it clear it wasn't their fault, and they would make good on their guarantee.

Placed an order and some of the items I ordered went on back order or restock (Reason why it isn't a 5 star review). Contacted customer service to figure out what the next step was. Zaira got in touch with me and explained my options perfectly and clearly. I made a decision from those options and completed my whole transaction effortlessly with the help and guidance of Zaira. Def will continue doing business with Monte Fortuna based on this experience

Montefortunacigars is an outstanding company in my opinion. They offer great products at competitive prices. But what I am most happy about is their customer service. Mark has been very attentive and quick to responde to my email inquiries. There was an unforeseen problem with one of my orders at customs, and Montefortuna issued me a new shipment as stated in their Terms and Conditions page with no questions.

I placed my 1st order almost 2 years ago, the customer service support has improved a lot since that, cigars are fresh and decently packed, really prompt delivery (2 weeks) from Europe to Asia. I had an issue with delivery which was not transparent to me at first, but manager Pamela helped me by giving the right advice, the issue is solved, thanks for that!
Will definitely order again! Hope, Gurkha will also take its place in Montefortuna's rich assortment.

Montefortuna is my only source for cigars. Initially I couldn't believe that I would be able to do business with a company so far away from America, I was wrong. Over the last two years I have never been disappointed. Prices and quality are unequalled compared to any other company that I have dealt with.

Absolutely the BEST company I have every worked with from beginning to end. The boxes were inspected as I requested. Shipping was fast (under 2 weeks). All labels and packaging was in tact. No mold no no bugs just pure perfection. So far I have placed two orders I will be ordering more and referring to my cigar group. MARK is absolutely phenomenal, companies need more people like Mark working for their brand. I would hire him in a second, he knows the value of customer relations.

Order was split into 2. First order had weight of cigars so paid duty on that. Second order they simply weighed the whole box as well as contents and bubble wrap so paid duty on the cardboard box and plastic wrap, around £50 just for the packaging, around £2/cigar! Apparently cant display weight of contents (??!) so only pay for tobacco (which is all legally obliged to do). Very responsive to buy complaint but 'rules are rules'. Simply not economic to buy on this basis with a high and avoidable premium for packaging
