In the few years and transactions I've had with Montefortuna, not once have I had an issue. They are both reputable and responsive. They are a premier vendor of high quality cigars.

Box came with all seals cut wrapped in kitchen plastic. No way to tell if they are real. I do not recommend buying from Montefortuna. Customer service was not helpful.

I ordered with them on the 23rd of December 2023. Initially, the checkout process went smoothly, but things took a turn when I discovered, after a long wait and multiple attempts to contact customer support, that the product I purchased was a presale item (which wasn't mentioned in the ad). They did offer a sampler as compensation for the delay, along with a new estimated time of arrival, but unfortunately, that estimate didn't pan out. After reaching out again, they presented me with the option to either wait an additional two weeks or request a refund. Opting to be patient, I waited, but even after two weeks had passed, there was still no sign of my order. Feeling frustrated, I contacted them once more and requested a refund, only to be informed that it would take up to 15 business days to process. In the meantime, I had also placed orders with iHavanas, all of which were delivered without any issues. It's disappointing to see such inconsistency from MF, and it makes me question their commitment to staying in this business for the long term. Despite the negative experience, I have to acknowledge the professionalism and courtesy of their support staff, which is why I'm not giving them a one-star rating.

Hi all, just want to share my experience with Montefortuna (MF) recently.

I bought a box of 25 Cohiba Siglo I from MF and asked for sealed box. The box arrived with original Habanos seals already cut. There was an additional blue sticker with a big Q which MF claimed to prove authenticity. The cigars arrived moldy and the color appears to be much darker compared to Siglo I I have at home bought from a reputable brick and mortar store. The size and shape of the cigars were inconsistent. UV light did not reveal serial number on the bands. Additionally, I was informed that the blue big Q stickers MF claimed as proof of authenticity can be bought online for a cheap price.

Contacted MF and they keep giving various excuses. I was given a store credit for the mold and requested further information from their distributor for assurance that the cigars are indeed what they claimed to be. So far no further response.

I made an order which didn’t appear in their online system as I wanted to cancel my order. I contacted them directly, which my order proceeded to processing: they refused to cancel and refund
Customer service is not the best as English is a barrier. They could not understand the concept that I could not cancel my order and I just gave up.

First off, my experience has always been met with an outstanding outcome. Quality is a given as well as gold star customer service. I’m a gold member because I just can’t resist their verity of choices and competitive pricing. MF’s now offering fivers and some singles at box prices. This allows some to sample before committing to the cost of a full box. For others that are only occasional Habanos smokers this will best fits their needs. In conclusion I’d like to add that just when I think they’ve peaked at high performance levels, they top it time and time again. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very new to the website first time ordering made slight error to the order contact customer service to resolve the error customer service responded within less than 24 hours and help me resolve the issue for a better outcome. Customer service was very professional and prompt. Truly impressed by professionalism.

My first initial order with Montefortuna made me very sceptical of this company, as in the UK my order took ages and I was also charged by C and E, tax for import that doubled the cost of my cigars. I decided not to pay for and collect them from Customs. They were therefore returned to the Company. Montefortuna, not only refunded my initial payment but did not charge me for the extra postage charge that they had to pay.
I bought a box of ten cigars with my refund, so I did not have to pay a penny and a big surprise was s that my box of cigars arrived intact today with no custom charge from Royal Mail.
Thank you very much to the lovely ladies that dealt with me in such an efficient, professional and understanding manner.
I now recommend this company as a great supplier of cigars, including Cuban with confidence to others.
