I have had a very good experience with Mervyn Stewart Conlig and Rob was more than helpful . no pushy sales patter just advised us honestly. We are very pleased with the car purchased and see no reason why we wouldn't be back again in the future.

Thanks to all the staff at Mervyn Stewart for your excellent customer service. From the moment you enter the showroom, you feel welcomed, listened to, and taken seriously. The sales staff take the time to offer advice while also giving you the space you need to make informed decisions. You are always greeted with a smile at reception and never made to feel unwelcome.

Special thanks to Megan in the service department for taking care of us today, returning our car promptly, and keeping us fully informed throughout with excellent communication.

Traded in a petrol car for a pair of used EVs; Pat and Tom were patient with our questions and kindly held the reserve on the cars for longer than the usual 24h.
We’re very pleased with the cars after a week of use - so far so good. Was impressed with their responsiveness and the personal video walk arounds are a nice touch. They did us a good deal on the two and the trade-in and we’re grateful for that and their patience coming to an agreement.

Full honesty - the only reasons I haven’t given 5 stars is that the battery health certifications weren’t out in front (could even be on the advert like other dealers have); we had to ask for these - could do with being a bit more prepared on that front as that’s critical for used EVs (especially since there was a week between reserving them and test drive - adequate time to have these ready!). Also it’s worth pointing out straight away that the offered warranty covers EVs with a one-liner rather than noting all the many many ICE features it covers 😉

Additionally, despite filling in a scratch on the Zoe as requested, when we picked it up it had scuff/scrape marks where there weren’t previously when we test drove (hopefully these will just buff out). I didn’t mention it at the time because we couldn’t really stick around to get them sorted but would have been nice to have them looking as good as possible on collection..!

But, all in all, very happy; thanks again lads!

I just bought a new car through Mervyn Stewart to import to the south and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. We dealt with Richard (Conlig) who went above and beyond for us. From start to finish he was so helpful, easy to communicate with and made the process very easy.

We recently bought a used car from Rob in Mervyn Stewart Conlig. Expert service from start to finish with a very quick turnaround time of only 4 days. He was well educated on the car and had everything prepped for handover of car( literally took 5 mins!) would highly recommend Rob, he is a real credit to the firm and would definitely go back to him in 4 years when I’m ready to change cars again! Boucher Road branch is disgraceful. Extremely bad customer service and behaviour from all involved. Still waiting on a call back over a month now from someone higher up who I had to send a recorded letter to as no emails or calls were getting through. Shameful behaviour.

Wish i had read the negative reviews before our visit. Atrocious customer service and aftercare. Car has established a break fault and to leave it in for inspection and get a courtesy car the earliest is December!! Rude staff member who didn’t give a toss. They expect you to drive 40 miles to get car looked at and walk around the town for the day. Take your hard earned cash elsewhere
