The room was very small, and too hot without cooling or the possibility to open a window and air the room. On top of that we were charged twice for the same stay. We signaled this risk when checking in, but they assured that this had never happened before and that we should not worry about this. When we wrote to the info-desk to report the double charge, they simply told us to arrange this with our bank. We are still waiting for the second charge to be deposited back on our bank account. Very bad service.

Ich bin für meinen Arbeitgeber leider immer wieder mal in unterschiedlichen Meininger Hotels. Grundsätzlich sind die Häuser ganz ok, aber als Gruppe ist man „Gast 2. Klasse“. Gruppengäste werden mit einem Armband gekennzeichnet und haben damit keinen freien Zugang zum Frühstück, sondern müssen sich an einen exakten Timeslot halten. Sie gelten als potentielle Troubleshooter und bekommen beim Check-In ein „Welcome-Briefing“, in dem die Hausregeln erläutert werden - viele, viele Regeln, man fühlt sich kaum willkommen.

Als Lehrer/Gruppenleiter hat man viele Zusatzaufgaben (Dauer ca. 3 Stunden), u.a. fordert Meininger das Ausfüllen eines Formulars mit allen Namen, Geburtsdatum und Nationalität, obwohl alle Infos übermittelt wurden - schlicht zu bequem, die Daten selbst zu verarbeiten. Dafür sind die Preise dann zu hoch: Jugendherbergs-Standard zum Preis eines 3*-Hotels.

Eines der schlechtesten Hotels, in dem ich je untergekommen bin. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, kein room-service, miserables Frühstück. Selbst Handtücher und Toilettenpapier waren nicht vorhanden. Immerhin das Personal war freundlich. Zum Preis von 140 € pro Nacht ist dieses Hotel die letzte Option. Schlimm, wenn möglich, jedes andere Hotel buchen.

Don't book a stay with this company. My booking was cancelled due to the pandemic and they never refunded me. They have effectively stolen 500 euro from me.

Sono stata al Meininger di Roma, vicino alla stazione ed è andato tutto bene. Personale affabile e sorridente, camere pulite, ambienti colorati e clima positivo. Tornerò sicuramente, il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo!

Ventede 8 timer på værelse der alligevel ikke var rent, og fik ingen refundering.
Ventede derefter en time yderligere på værelset, på trods af de sagde i receptionen at det ville være klar efter 30 minutter.
Morgenmaden var dårlig og der var pladsmangel ved “buffeten”.

Alt i alt skuffende oplevelse, og spild af penge.

Had a holiday booked in Copenhagen for 3 nights just before Christmas. Unfortunately my ex wife abducted my children and I wouldn't be able to take them. I explained this to customer services and asked for a credit note if at all possible. Just got quoted standard line and basically told tough luck. Will never use again or recommend.

Hotelzimmer im Meininger in Bremen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis gut. Für 5 Sterne hätte ich mir eine größere vegane Auswahl beim Frühstück gewünscht.

I recently stayed at Meininger Brussels City Centre hotel. The rooms were big, clean and most comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The decor, location, vibe of the hotel was very delightful. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Where to begin.
First they cancel our booking and don't care that we have a booking confirmation e-mail and make us pay 50 euro more for a new exact same booking. We had to say yes, as it was late at night and we really couldn't find anywhere else at that time.
It was really noise, dirty and people kept coming into our room while we where sleeping on the last day.

Would really recommend people to stay away!

Horrible !Le service client est nullissime.La speakerine qui vous reçoit est d’une arrogance effroyable,limite elle vous embrouille.Poyr les remboursements?C’est incompréhensible.Les tarifs fixes et flexibles ne sont pas faciles d’accès.Du coup à chaque commandes ce sont des erreurs et on se retrouve enivitablement dupes.Ça mériterait un passage chez Courbet car on est à la limite de l’arnaque.Moi j’étais à celui de Bordeaux: l’accueil des hôtesses étaient catastrophiques,toujours sur les nerfs.Accumuler autant de tares en hôtellerie ce n’est même plus de l’amateurisme mais du cirque à ciel ouvert.Franchement Menninger arrêtez l’hôtellerie et mettez-vous dans les casinos c’est mieux pour vous.

I (female,18) was staying at the Meininger Hotel in Bruxelles city center. This was one of my worst experiences in any hotel ever. I have never met so rude and disrespectful staff. They never talked nicely but always with a rude and demeening tone. Even the simplest questions for the staff where always met with an atittude. I did not think I would ever expirerence fully adult people talk back with so little respect and care.
Please reconsider staying here, i genuenly felt so unwelcome at my stay.

Boede en nat på Urban house København, er imponeret over standard, helt fra reception og værelse. Værelset er lige tilpas til to mennesker, ren og pænt. Alt er ok, og et stort udvalg til morgenbord. Vi bo gerne der igen ved vores næste besøg i hovedstaden

Ved morgenmaden mangler der meget, der er ikke nok vand, juice, kaffe osv….
De tager lang tid om opvasken, så der er ikke nok kopper til alle gæster.
Toiletpapir giver de heller ikke nok af på værelserne.
Der er ikke NOGET af personalet der snakker dansk.
De er alle sammen engelsk talende.

Ich hatte eine Nacht gebucht und auch über meine Kreditkarte bezahlt. Leider wurde mir vom Hotel mitgeteilt, dass keine Bezahlung von mir eingegangen ist. Ich hätte also ein weiteres Zimmer buchen und bezahlen müssen, was ich dann aber nicht getan habe. Das Geld wurde mir bisher auch nicht erstattet.
Wirklich sehr enttäuschend! Das ganze grenzt meiner Meinung nach an Diebstahl.

I mistakenly clicked the wrong month for my booking. I realised immediately my error and I contacted the the property by email and phone but got no reply as it was outside business hours. I phoned first thing the following morning and explained what had happened. I was told it could not be changed and the full amount would have to be paid. I offered to pay extra fee to get the booking amended to the correct dates but refused. No interest to resolve the situation from the property. Very very disappointing.

Booked a hotel room in Copenhagen for a weekend, but the pay gate on the website didn’t work. So I called the customer service, and they told me, that I could go to the hotel a few hours later to pay directly. So I went all the way to the hotel, that told me the booking was cancelled, and a had to pay an additional amount of 50 euro’s to get the room I already booked! Crap service! Tried to call customer service again, but no luck.
