Nach Notfallerkrankung meiner Tochter kein bisschen Kulanz. Alles bezahlt und keinen Cent zurück. Auch ärztliches Attest greift nicht.Und schicken mit der Ansage gleichzeitig einen Bewertungsbogen. Purer Zynismus!

J ai réservé une nuit pour août 2024. Mes dates de congé ont été modifiées et j ai demandé l annulation. Aucun remboursement, même pas pour les petits déjeuners...Bref....il faut se méfier des offres alléchantes ...Ils vont relouer la chambre ,qui aura déjà été payée une fois....c'est tout bénef pour eux...J aurais dû prendre le temps ....

By mistake I ordered the Meininger-Hotel in the wrong city. After calling immeditely asking to change the booking, they failed to help even if I delivered a proof that I called immediately for assistance without getring it. When a Hotel has such bad internal rules, it is better to avoid anything with them.

Caught up in the Deutsche Bahn strike, we couldn't get to the hotel, we emailed in plenty of time, and hoped they'd exercise their discretion to cancel and refund. They did not. In fact on the night of the booking they even sent a message at 2AM to booking.com asking where we'd got to, even though the cancellation had been confirmed. This seemed didsingenuous. Long story short they totally refused to reimburse, so we wound up paying for an empty room.

I recently stayed at Meininger city center hostel Brussels.
I made a mistake and booked for the day after my arrival. I asked the frontdesk employee if we could stay the night of actual arrival ‘for free’ since I’d pay for the next day anyway. He told me I would wouldn’t get charged for my booking if we cancelled. With the help of the frontdesk employee we cancelled my booking. After the cancellation we paid again for another night.
I still got charged the €170, even after I was told that wouldn’t happen.
I think it’s highly unfair and unprofessional to charge the €170. I’m very upset.

Camera molto fredda, letto matrimoniale composto da due letti singoli, piumino troppo leggero , phon che si spegne dopo due minuti, nessun bicchiere in camera, nemmeno di plastica, per poter almeno prendere una pastiglis

der zweite Fahrstuhl defekt, Rezeption nur auf Englisch obwohl das Hotel am Frankfurter Flughafen ist, Hotelshuttle zum Flughafen nur zum Terminal 1 und zu teuer und Fahrzeit zu lang, weil andere Hotels noch angefahren erden. Das Zimmer hat gestunken, Fenster durfte nicht geöffnet werden, die Bar war geschlossen angeblich kein Personal. Der Eindruck einer Billigabsteige ist entstanden

Very clean, nice beds and the workers are friendly and nice

My booking was cancelled by the hostel or by computer alert fraud (whatever that means) without any message, and they took my money without any warning. Avoid all MEININGER hostels, they are a scam company! Booking was made through Agoda and they didnt get the money back, please avoid Agoda booking side as well as well!

Ich wollte eine Festbuchung umändern lassen in eine Flexbuchung. Wollte nur eine Woche später anreisen. Null Toleranz, kein Entgegenkommen. Sie hätten ja kein Geld verloren. Auch persönlich jemanden zu erreichen ist unterirdisch. Nie wieder. G. Palwitz

We got bed bugs from this hotel. There was also cockroaches. There was stains on the sheets, seemingly blood and urine stains. Everything was dirty and unclean. The bathroom absolutely stank and nothing could help it. Breakfast staff was also kind of rude.

If i could give zero stars I would the staff was insanely rude, kids doing drugs and terrible quality found hair and trash in my pillow DONT GO HERE

Dirty, no air con.

Pubic hairs all over the place, on the beds, in the shower. Stains on the sheets and no mattress protectors.

Still waiting to hear back for a refund/compensation.

Bed sheets smelled liked a dog had been laying on it for a week, world smallets Rom compared to we paid 116 Euro. We told the manager, and she denied the smell, but it was horrific. DONT GO TO THIS HOTEL, its a hostel but worse.

They are Fraud, denied to refund money for hotel which was booked accidently for next day rather than next month.

No humanity shown and no mercy that how anyone could book a hotel the very next day and they cancelled for no show.

Service client catastrophique. Annulation, ok on n'est pas remboursé mais changement de date pour le lendemain et en plus la demande est fait >7 jours avant. C'est juste honteux. L'entreprise se cache derrière les clauses que vous êtes censé avoir lu comme tout le monde bien sûr. Ce sont des clauses ABUSIVES. C'est beaucoup moins cher qu'ailleurs? Bien sur par ce que c'est une arnaque!!! Fuyez pauvres fous....

Je suis tombé malade la veille de mon séjour, que j’avais réservé via Hostelworld avec des conditions non remboursables. J’ai contacté le support client, qui s’est montré totalement inflexible. « le service offre une réduction de prix contre des conditions strictes, notamment la possibilité d’annuler », m’ont-ils rétorqué quand je leur ai demandé s’il n’était pas au moins possible d’avoir un crédit total ou partiel pour que je puisse venir chez eux à une date ultérieure.
Les auberges de jeunesse étant habituellement des établissements arrangeants et à taille humaine, je vous recommande de les fuir.

They treated me poorly
I have astma, and they locked the window because a bird shitted on them from our window and they blamed it on us. The food is bad, and the staff are mean and unfriendly. I would not recommend going here.

Das schlimmste Hotel, in dem ich je war. Für die 1. 000 Euro, die ich für zwei Personen in 7 Tagen bezahlt habe, hatte ich bessere Bedingungen erwartet. Der Boden im Zimmer war dreckig von den vorherigen Gästen, die Kissen waren so abgenutzt, als wären sie Jahrzehnte alt, hart, als hätte man Steine in die Mitte gestreut. Das Waschbecken im Bad war dreckig, als wäre es seit Wochen nicht gewaschen worden. In der Dusche war Schimmel, die Tür zur Duschkabine war kaputt. Keine Klimaanlage, aber es gab immer ein Geräusch von einem Ventilator in der Wand, der warme Luft in den Raum blies. Kein Wasserkocher und Tee oder Kaffee. Einziges Plus ist die Lage des Hotels am Berliner Hauptbahnhof. Offensichtlich nutzen die Hotelbehörden diese Tatsache aus und bieten den Gästen katastrophale Bedingungen an.
