Since 2020 and after 2 new Dolphins, a BIO M5 and a S300i BIO I can truly say, they suck. The BIO M5 did not climb the walls in our BIO Pool. Maytronics blamed it on the pool.. Eventually swapped it for a S300i BIO. This one climbs the walls perfectly but has really poor performance on the floor. It just can't clean as it should. Small particles get swirled around in stead of being removed. A manual sweep with a brush over the pool floor marks a clean trail after the robot was in there for 6hours in a 10x4m pool. Maytronics customer service is worth close to nothing. Friendly yes, results NO.

Avoid this company like the plague. They once upon a time made good products but my god the entire company is a mess. My $1300 robot died in under a year! Mind you my pool season is only 3-4 months and that's all it took to kick the bucket. Very poor quality product. I've been bamboozled and this is easily the worst purchase I've ever made.

Customer service sucks. My online account just disappeared randomly leading to another headache when checking up on RMA status. BEWARE of their rebates. They don't inform you in needs to be submitted within 30 days. They sneakily denied my rebate because it was submitted a few days after a month of purchase. They refused to honor it. I was never informed of the denial either, they just bank on you forgetting about.

Overall this company is a headache to deal with. The product sucks, the app sucks, the website is broken and deleted my account, their rebate system is sneaky and get ready to pay your own shipping for your RMA.

I Paid a premium price and received crappy product and crappy service.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Mon avis concerne les alarmes de piscines de cette marque. Aucun Sav si elle n’est plus sous garantie vous pouvez la jeter à la poubelle … une honte ! Aucune réparation possible la marque ne le fait pas et vous propose de vous en vendre une nouvelle fort cher… un bon business , je déconseille fortement cette marque pour les alarmes. A l’heure où l’écologie est une priorité bravo pour la pollution : jeter et racheter. A fuir !

Dolphin pool cleaner is very poor. Apart from its fine particle filter which does work well. It fails to pick up most of the stuff on the pool floor. It doesn’t climb the walls. Fails to do any steps. Misses the corners. Is very heavy to lift out. App settings don’t make it do anything different except extend the cycle time. Waste of money. I’m going back to the much simpler and cheaper Polaris option which doesn’t need electricity supplies, is much lighter and actually sucks up everything.

Acheté un robot piscine M400 ce mois ci. Un peu déçu du produit pour le prix : 1600 euros.
Il ne monte pas fort sur la mosaique malgre la mousse spéciale. Il est lourd et n est pas très intelligent dans sa façon de balayer le fond et parois ….

I would not recommend this company or any of their products. Even with a warranty, zero customer support for a bad motor on our Dolphin Proteus DX3 Robotic Pool Vacuum. I urge you not to buy their products; you will have no support from the company if it stops working.

I bought the Dolphin pool sweeper and it is still under warranty. When I tried to use it in March 2023 it would not run. I had to take it to an authorized repair place. It needs a new motor. It has been two months and still not fixed. Company has done nothing but give me the run around and they treat the repair place just as bad. They care nothing about their customers at all. In the mean time I have a dirty pool, guess I should have stuck with my cheap cleaner instead of this high priced one.

Maytronics packages incorrect/vague literature with their products. This leads to much confusion and wasted time. I hope the very expensive pool cleaner I purchased suits our needs, but I have very little faith in a nonresponsive organization.

Excellent SAV pour prise en charge robot Dolphin 400 qui ne fonctionnait plus. Envoi le vendredi soir d'Orléans du colis et retour mercredi du robot réparé avec précisions sur la panne. Excellent accueil pour la prise en charge avec tests en temps réel par téléphone.

Back in the summer of 2018, my wife and I had an in-ground pool built in our backyard. When the pool was complete, our pool builder recommended purchasing a Dolphin S200 robot for cleaning the pool. What a great product! Recently, March of 2023, the unit was not operating properly. When I called the Maytronics Customer Care Center, they were very kind to help me conduct some real-time, no charge trouble-shooting. Based on their initial assessment, they recommended sending the unit in for repair. Several days after I shipped the unit back, they informed me that they received it and that they would evaluate. After conducting their evaluation, they provided me with another status and then fixed the unit. I received the unit back several days later... put it in the pool... and it is, again, running like a champ! High quality process from start to finish. Very impressive!

I highly recommend Maytronics products to anyone. They stand behind their quality products with high caliber people and great service.

I bought a low cost pool robot for my 30 foot in ground two years ago. It did an OK job, but failed after two seasons. No big deal. I decided to step up to a higher quality unit and chose the Dolphin Cayman. It cost just shy of $800. I wish I had read more reviews before buying. It didn't fail or stop working. It simply can't clean the pool. It runs like an injured turtle. it missed the corners/edges and can't negotiate or clean the steps. It gets stuck on the pool drain. Bad design.

I contacted Maytonics support and got no response.

I gave it two days of home trial, then returned it while I still could. My expectation for a higher end pool robot was that it works as well as the smart home vacuum cleaner robots. Not so. I'm going back to cleaning the pool manually.

After only 2 years and very little use the control unit would not turn on by now we live in portugal. maytronics answer for help was go back to the store DO NOT BUY DOLPHIN

Bad company

I was having dolphin Maytronics pool cleaner issues so I troubleshot by putting in a new hermetically sealed motor
Work involved 4 screws to remove and replace. This they said this voids the warranty
There are more issues and damage that can arise with just maintenance than what I did.

This company has a policy to deny all repairs or warranty items if they can. I was emailing and calling to go over the phone trouble shooting but they jumped straight into go somewhere else mode. They will not even try and help over the phone and instead advised me to go to a repair facility

Horrible company
Also to let you know if the wheel falls off track and you put it back on, this is considered a repair and your warranty is not valid anymore.

Mon robot de piscine Dolphin a été endommagé lors d'un sinistre foudre. Le service client et SAV de Maytronics l'a aussitôt pris en charge et moins de 48H plus tard mon robot est revenu réparé. Réactivité, rapidité, efficacité, amabilité, au top de l'excellence !!! Mérite plus que 5 étoiles.

Je dispose d'un volet hors sol Maytronics depuis juin 2020, il n'a jamais fonctionné correctement ! Il a toujours eu des problèmes de fins de course qui se dérèglent. L'alimentation 220 et 24 volts a été changée sous garantie. Elle balançait du 44 volts ! Maintenant que la garantie est passée, le service technique me dit que c'est la carte électronique de gestion des fins de course qui est HS (sans doute la conséquence de l'alim défaillante). Elle est associée au moteur et coûte plus de 1000 € sans la main d'œuvre. Oups ! Trop cher pour moi.
Je me suis donc penché sur le problème et j'ai trouvé une solution domotisée : plus de clé, plus de module de fin de courses et tout fonctionne à merveille pour moins de 20 € d'investissement. Merci au technicien qui m'a mis la puce à l'oreille. Je précise qu'il ne m'a pas donné la solution... juste mis sur une piste après questionnement de ma part. Pour moi, il s'agit d'un matériel peu fiable. Maytronics pourrait mieux faire.

At just shy of two years I noticed my Dolphin was not completing a cycle. I reached out to Maytronics and tried some recommended trouble shooting with no success. After explaining the ongoing concern, the companies representative asked for the receipt of purchase and the product number. I was unable to find a receipt. I explained to the representative that I found in my banking statement when the item was purchased which was just short of two years. Based on my information the representative ask me to go ahead and send the unit to Maytronics which I did. They fixed my unit and replaced the cable, the motor, the filter basket, and the power supply. OUTSTANDING customer service!

I bought a Dolphin X20 a few weeks ago after learning about its features. I am very disappointed with its performance: it cleans poorly, its behavior is erratic, the cable gets tangled every time. At customer support they have limited themselves to tell me that they have other filters and other rollers that would improve the performance. None of that was in the information that led me to buy the product. Worst robot I have ever owned after 15 years of using them. I would never recommend it to anyone. Very dissatisfied with the customer service as well.

Bonjour, volet piscine air cover 300 installé récemment depuis le début que des problèmes, a ce jour aucune solution apporté, mon volet ne fonctionne pas aucune sécurité sur ma piscine c'est juste inadmissible j'ai un petit fils de 2 ans au secours !
