The car and the service were perfect. One day before returning the car we had a flat tire. We decided to put on the spare one ourselves and drive to the rental point in Victoria. There they put on a new tire and within 20 minutes we were back on the road. Excellent service, thank you :)

Nice new car - much better than last time - the usual pains of using Maki though - badly outdated GPS and you always have to phone the pick up and drop off service - always late and always need management

We asked different car rental agencies for an offer and Maki Car Rental was by far the cheapest. The service was great. They brought the car directly to the hotel and picked it up after a few days.
The car was okay for the island. Just the GPS was not that great so we downloaded cards on Google Maps.
It was a pleasure and really good, convenient and trustworthy service

Wir haben über Maki Car einen Mietwagen für unsere Rundreise über die Insel gebucht. Die komplette Abwicklung, angefangen mit der Buchung, sowie der Zahlung (in € auf deutsches Konto) Übersendung aller Dokumente, als auch die Übergabe des Mietwagens am Flughafen hat perfekt geklappt. Wir erhielten einen fast neuen Mietwagen unserer gebuchten Kategorie und auch der Fahrer, der den Mietwagen jeweils übergeben hat war zu den vereinbarten Zeiten pünktlich vor Ort. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war absolut top! Wir können Maki Car uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir hatten auf Mauritius ein Mietauto (Kia Picanto) für 10 Tage gemietet und waren rundum begeistert! Einfacher und klarer Buchungs- sowie Zahlungsprozess, Zusatzoptionen, die man wo anders teuer bezahlt (GPS, Automatik, Zusatzfahrer, Versicherung) waren von vornherein inkludiert und das zu unschlagbar günstigem Preis, unkomplizierte Abholung direkt am Flughafenparkplatz, supertolles Auto (neu und sauber), extrem freundliche und entspannte Mitarbeiter, unkomplizierte Rückgabe, faire Kaution. Wir buchen das nächste Mal sicher wieder über Maki und können den Service uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Tausend Dank!!!

Rented a car for 8 days. was delivered to hotel on time. Agent was very informative and photos were taken of the car by him so that there was no misunderstanding. My communication with them was via their website and i got answers to my queries immediately. Our GPS was great and all in all was great service.

Wir haben ein Auto für unsere Mauritius Reise gemietet und waren sehr zu Frieden. Der Wagen wurde überpünktlich zum Flughafen gebracht und wieder abgeholt. Das Navi funktionierte gut dort waren bereits wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten eingespeichert. Man bekommt sogar Infos dazu erzählt. Würden immer wieder bei Maki buchen

Hired a car from 3 May 19 to 8 May 19. Car was delivered over an hour late with 50% fuel and had a number of scratches. Requested extension to which a reply was only provided on the day the extension was required. Had a bust tyre for which we were charged Rs4000. Maki is relatively okay but customer service could be better.

Wir hatten im März 2019 einen Mietwagen bei Maki Car gebucht und waren rundum zufrieden. Übergabe am Flughafen und Rückgabe am Hotel klappten pünktlich und reibungslos. Als mir bei der nachträglichen Änderung des Abholortes ein Fehler unterlief, schlug dies mit 13€ Gebühren zu Buche (weitere Strecke). Der Betrag wurde jedoch nach erneuter Korrektur und Angabe des richtigen Abholortes umgehend zurück überwiesen. Der Suzuki Alto war so gut wie neu (ca. 500 km gelaufen) und hatte das versprochene Navi an Bord.

I have rented a car with Maki from March 17th to 23rd, 2019, from airport to airport. Rented i20, asked for rather automatic and got it, Maki person was there at the airport during pickup and drop-off, do not have to wait. They clearly told me how GPS works, where to drop off the car, on the documents and insurance. Very competitive rates, very clean car. GPS works perfectly. Very happy with their service and the car.

Wir haben uns auf den Seychellen eine Woche einen Hunday i10 über Maki Car ausgeborgt. Schon die Reservierung war sehr rasch und einfach über die Bühne gegangen. Das Auto wurde uns pünktlich zum Hotel gebracht und war in einem neuwertigen Zustand. Kurze Einschulung war inklusive. Die Abholung des Autos war genau so pünktlich und einfach - kurze gemeinsame Besichtigung und fertig.

Auf Mahe hatten wir Autos durch Eden cars erhalten. Uraltes Auto (nicht mal Zentralverriegelung), komplett verbeult, defekte Sicherheitsgurte und eine richtig schwergängige Gangschaltung...auch die Bezinregelung war nicht full-to-full policy. Dazu gab es noch einen unangenehmen, unfreundlichen Vermieter.

Auf Praslin hingegen hatten wir Best Cars welche ich nur im vollen Umfang loben kann. Neues Auto, full-to-full und eine sehr freundliche Vermieterin, welche uns von der Fähre abgeholt hat.

We had a cruise ship to meet before it sailed, and limited time from our flight arrival to get to the port. As we were one of the last passengers off the flight, and the long immigration queues we were concerned that we might not make our cruise.
Our Maki driver promptly met us at the front of the terminal and off to the carpark. The vehicle made a great first impression - new and CLEAN! The rest of the drive to Port Louis was uneventful. We were given some info about the areas we drove past, and the country in general. Our driver was knowledgeable, well spoken and had us arriving at the port in time for the next part of our journey.
It certainly took the hassle out of the short transfer window having our Maki Transfer pre-arranged. Would highly recommend the service. Book was easy, fast and efficient. The service in Mauritius was great.

We changed our original Booking reducing by one day and booked a driver from Airport to port Louis .with Maki . Driver was waiting and delivered us to our Hotel seamlessly. Our MAKI car was delivered on time next day and given back at Port 3 days later. The cancelled day was refunded promptly. Good service Thank you
