I ordered a pair of trainers for my daughter and paid for next day delivery as she needed them for school. The wrong item was sent and had to be returned. Therefore I didn’t have the trainers for my daughter for school.

I returned the item and was assured that I would have a full refund including postage. However, now that they have finally processed my refund they are only refunding the price of the item and not the postage too.

I will NEVER use this company again. Useless is an understatement

Used to order lots from Lovell sports but now they have gone rapidly downhill

This was a a trusted company I have used for years through out my football and rugby career instead of highstreet retailers. Recently I bought a pair of Mizuno Japan Neo 4 Rugby boots soft ground variant, to my dismay they had sent firm grounds whilst listing the soft grounds on the website. I contacted customer support who were quick to respond but basically offered me a return, without a sourcing or assurance that I could get an equivalent boot. The only token of goodwill was a shipping next day delivery on my next order. I had used up my 10% code then. The boots were too big so after being fobbed off by customer services I did return them. I asked for a complaints form and their T&Cs with regards to exchanging the boots. They would not let me exchange for a different size. When I looked to rebuy the smaller size price of boots had gone up from £174 to £233. I really did want these boots so begrudgingly bought another pair in a smaller size without even getting the refund for my first pair. Those boots turned up after 4 days instead of next day delivery and I am lost for words that the second pair of boots they sent had the same issue… they were firm grounds, meaning the listing issue was never corrected. I’m waiting for a response from Lovell sports now but would strongly advise to avoid, as they outsource boots from sports direct warehouse and have no understand or control of their own stock. I will update in due course when they reply.

Abolutely horrendous company- DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I ordered a pair of running shoes that were too big. I sent them back and had them returned to me with absolutely no warning saying they were dirty. I responded with pictures of them in immaculate condition and asked for proof as to why they had been returned. They refused to provide any and told me to take it up with a third party mediator.

Warning: They are owned by Sports Direct and will completely screw you over.

Worst retailer I have ever dealt with. I purchased a pair of golf shoes. They sent a completely different pair. They listed the item incorrectly. Due to the urgency I asked if they could send the correct pair, to wish they refused and advised I’d have the return the pair they sent incorrectly and then wait for a refund. Terrible service, list items incorrectly and you have to fight to get your money back. Avoid at all costs.

Just wanted to counteract all the negative reviews below as I had the best experience with Lovell Sports, ordered a pair of Fit flop ballet pumps at around 7 pm last night, (and they were half the price that they were on the Fit flop site) and they arrived at 11 am this morning! Brilliant service, would highly recommend 😁

This is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to leave a review, which makes this even more disappointing.

I returned a pair of ASICS Superblast 3 using their returns process and the tracking confirmed the parcel was delivered to them. A few days later I was told the parcel had arrived empty, which came as a complete surprise because I know for a fact that the shoes were inside the box when I sent them.

What frustrated me the most was how the situation was handled. Every response took several days, and after waiting for their “investigation”, all I received was another email from Ada repeating that the parcel was empty. No explanation, no photos, no evidence, and no details about what was actually investigated.

I’ve since had to ask for photos of the parcel, the shipping label, any signs of damage or tampering, and details of the investigation because none of this was provided voluntarily. Instead, I’ve simply been told that my refund cannot be processed.

I completely understand that things can occasionally go wrong in transit but as a customer who returned the item correctly and in good faith, I expected the issue to be investigated properly rather than being left out of pocket with very little information.

I feel like I’ve been left to prove my innocence instead of being treated fairly. Based on my experience so far, I can’t recommend Lovell Sports’ returns process or customer service.

Where’s my Sons bike? Ordered a Frog Bike for our son. Next day delivery selected. Next month - no bike.

Shocking communication, no heads up “your order is delayed email”.

So I’ll ask here. Where’s my son’s bike and how do I get answers?

Ordered Slazenger Trainers size 9. Made in China. Totally incorrect sizing. Now I have to pay to return them when they aren't fit for purpose. Will never order from here again.

I don't know why they don't offer a size called "lucky dip" you've probably got more chance of receiving the correct size you want rather than actually telling them your size haha. I got stung by the fraser group in similar circumstances 4 months ago and thought they might have corrected their website OBVIOUSLY NOT.

RUBBISH RUBBISH RUBBISH. I can see why they don't allow you to call them because people wouldn't last a week in the job with the amount of dissatisfied customers they'd have to deal with. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I put in an order for next day delivery on Saturday 27th June. We received an initial email saying it had been sent but the tracking number doesn’t exist on DPD website!! I need this order for a present! I’m still waiting. Order number LOVE73963. Where is my order!? I can’t even phone you. Terrible.

Refunded my order and didn’t even tell me why. Now I have to wait 10 days for the money back

My husband ordered me a pair of boots. Unfortunately he clicked the wrong size and the product had been sent out. When they arrived it was not the boots ordered. Instead it was a pair of ugly sandles. The company said send them back and we will refund you. Five weeks since the original order was made. Lovell have now said they didn't send us the sandles and will not return our money.

Absolutely shocking experience with this company. They have sent me a product that is faulty and are now telling me they’ve inspected it and won’t be giving me a refund. Terrible customer service AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Paid for next day delivery not arrived & not even responded to my email

Well..easy to order and have the item next day but if the sizing is not correct, it is super difficult to return. Will not be buying from them again.

STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY THEY RIP YOU OFF I returned items and they only refunded half my order and claimed not to have recieved the rest VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and have no intentions of dealing with your complaint.

Placed an order and then automatically received a refund within a couple hours, which I hadn’t requested as I would like the product. No reason was given. Very poor customer service.

17/06/26 - why is it I have to put up a review to get a response? Also your website still shows the items in stock.
