Perfect online cloud platform solution

Livedrive works smoothly and efficiently backing up my PC files. Occasionally I have contacted support and each time they responded quickly and were able to clarify/solve the issues.

Used service for many years have had no issues at all with software .

Excellent service all round.

There is no way to contact these people to close your account and they do not answer E.mails or make promised telephone calls.

It would be for this reason that I would not use them again.

Definitely average, especially if you want a response!
This is the first time I have managed to communicate-not much to say!

I have not tested the backup for some time but the app appears to work ok in the background. I wish the screens for the app could be expanded full screen. The small size of the app windows makes scrolling through large file trees tedious.

Been using it for years, good robust and reliable product.

Fire and forget, but always remember to check periodically that the system is working, I did once accidentally move a load of files out of the folders that I had specified for backup.

Have been with Livedrive for years, and it's saved my bacon loads of times! Never let me down, I am forever grateful :)

Everything is fine.
The backup works reliably and that is the most important thing.

Livedrive is excellent. The best thing is to be able to get back to previous versions of a file - this has helped me a lot in the past.
Much better than just having a local drive.

Used Livedrive for many years, wanting an offsite backup solution, but over time what should be trouble free was less than perfect. Often citing errors in syncing files I began to not know if I could trust what had been backed up and what hadn’t.
Decided to cancel my subscription but here’s the biggest issue in my opinion. No option to be found anywhere to close my account. The only option available was to call a contact us number. Never did anyone answer this line and after leaving messages never did I receive an call back.
Payment card thankfully expired anyway so this brought this to a close for me. But then the constant emails telling me payment details were out of date!!
Moved on to pastures new now with much more control of my digital backups.

Very reliable software. Also, very good support from the company.

Though to operate, several platforms, not sure if data was backed up and difficult to get help - all is automated and feels very outsourced

Given the recent poor reviews on this site I was surprised to be invited to submit my review, but here goes.

I'm still on a 2 year, reasonably priced, unlimited space deal. Reading some of the other reviews it would appear that next time I want to renew I'm going to be hit with a substantial price increase. Here's why I WILL MOVE to another provider at that point:

1. I have 10+ files that the Livedrive client will consistently not upload. They vary in size and location on my machine but will not sync.
2. For the above issue and another (Livedrive client failing to upload a backup file larger than 20GB) I've had a support ticket open since October 2020. Despite initial friendly support, nothing has been done with it. I was told that scans were being run (but were still running when I checked in for an update 3 weeks later!) and that there was a problem with RAID cards. The pandemic was blamed for the slow rectification of the problem. It's still not resolved 1.5 years later.

I'm sure Livedrive are still competitive for what they offer, but the additional support headaches that they've caused me and the anxiety around whether files are correctly backed up or not, will force me elsewhere. I think pCloud look good...

Great service, never had any issues and have been a client for at least 10 years.

I’ve used live drive for over 10 years. They provided unlimited storage for a fixed price per year.

With no warning, they’ve auto renewed me abs charged me more than double last years renewal.

I’ve attempted to move to another provider, but some of my files are now corrupted - I see other reviews with the same experience, so something technical has obviously gone wrong at some point.

I understand they need to make money, but this company doesn’t honour the agreements they made with past customers, so I wouldn’t trust them to honour any agreements they make with you.

I have actually been happy using Livedrive even though I had an incident where I lost data and could not properly retrieve them from my Livedrive account. Thats another story.

I just recieved as several others a 100% increase in my yearly price. (Went from $127 to $240). I contacted support and asked if that could be right. They commented that the package I had for the last 10 years no longer existed and they had to increase the price (though as far as I remember they stated when I opted in that the price would stay like this for as long as I would use the product ... but apparently it is only for as long as I have supported them and they have grown to a bigger business)

I dont like price increases that come out of the blue like this, I could accept a moderate increase but this is crazy. It's not very customer friendly. So it's a safe bed with that increase I have to find other options.
