After reading positive reviews of Matthew's work, I contacted Mr Elkins with a view to delete police caution that I had received in 2005. As I am preparing to permanently move overseas, I was extremely worried that having a caution on my record would have a negative effect on my visa application due to highly strict immigration laws in my future country of residence.

Between the introductory telephone conversation that I had with Matthew on the 2nd of July 2019, until this morning (2nd of August, 2019), when I received an email from Matthew with the 'Application for deletion of records from national police systems – decision' has passed exactly one month. The letter attached to Matthew's email confirmed that both my Police National Computer (PNC) record as well as my biometric information have been deleted.

I really cannot praise Matthew's work enough. From the beginning to the end of the legal process he was professional, efficient and thorough with all the details. He is honest, competent and experienced solicitor which made me feel confident that he would handle the process in the best possible manner - which he did, and in record time!

I contacted Matt Elkins last year with a view to expunging the police caution that I had received in 2014. I always felt that the police decision was wrong and that I was misled into thinking that I would be treated leniently.

From the beginning to the end of the legal process Matt dealt with the case in a thorough, efficient and professional manner. At the initial telephone consultation, which was arranged for a modest fee, Matt examined the details of the case and formed a preliminary view that there were sufficient grounds to go further. He then explained the way the fixed fees for the case would be structured, ie investigative phase and representative phase. He would only recommend proceeding to the second phase if the first phase revealed that the grounds were strong.

Having received my instructions to proceed to the second phase, Matt spent a considerable amount of time drafting the legal representations. He always sought my feedback and amended the representations accordingly. Matt was always patient with me and at no time did I feel rushed to make a decision.

My application to expunge the police caution was brought to a successful conclusion this week and this could not have been achieved without the expert knowledge and efforts of Matt Elkins. He is a credit to the profession.

If you are reading this, you have found the right person! I was recently issued with a caution due to an unintended mistake and it was devastating, the worst thing that could happen to me - right before I was going for jobs that require DBS check. Matt managed to get the caution removed and I can now have my life back. He always respond to my questions quickly and professionally, very good at what he does. My story starts from a school yard fight at the age of 16 which resulted in me getting a police caution. I never thought it would affect the rest of my life until I applied for a job abroad. There was a lot of work from Matt and I that went into my police caution and reprimand being deleted. The odds looked stacked against us but we received the good news in only 4 months so I can now carry on with my life without the burden of some immature and regrettable incident from my past.
