I can't praise them enough. Matt and his team are the elite within the UK law profession. Having had previous unsuccessful attempts to remove an historic caution, I almost gave up. I found Matt and I knew if he couldn't do it , it can't be done. A completely new approach and angle. The caution was completely deleted from the pnc.

He is willing to stand up for justice , relentless, undeterred, he will find a way. In a world full of Injustice and corruption , it's hard to find a few good men.......Matt Elkins is one of them.

Matthew Elkins is an expert in getting the police to remove cautions. In my case he not only managed to get them to delete the (illegal and malicious) caution but also got them to wipe out the whole of the PNC record which is an incredible result. It is such a relief! I am very satisfied with my experience with Matt - he is extremely efficient and competent (knows and understands all the procedures extremely well), very easy to get hold of, answers emails very promptly. I would recommend him to anyone slapped with a malicious caution by the police.

Matt was amazing, we went through a traumatic time with the police, they lied and manupulated and a family member ended up with a caution.

When I initially called Matt he didn't have the capacity to take anymore clients but he took the time to explain what I need to do and say to the police to get the process rolling. I then tried other lawyers most were more expensive and told me that i've missed certain deadlines so don't stand much of a chance.

I have no hesitation in recommending Matt to assist in the removal of police cautions.
I was arrested and put in a custody cell overnight after my ex-wife lied to the police.
Having never previously had anything to do with the police I foolishly allowed myself to be coerced into signing a computer screen that, unbeknownst to me, and having had a traumatic night, resulted in a caution for threatening and abusive behaviour. I had no idea.
There is clearly a huge failure in the system.
I was given Matt’s number.
He was very clear on what was going on and what needed to be done.
I engaged his services.
Initially Essex police refused to remove the caution, despite all the evidence pointing to my ex-wife lying and unjust procedures by the police.
On appeal, and after a lot of hard work and perseverance by Matt, Essex police relented and agreed to remove the caution.
He remains the only solicitor I have ever employed (outside conveyancing) who has achieved what he set out to achieve.

I was in a very distraught position after being harassed by my former partners schizophrenic girlfriend.After ignoring her for some years I retaliated and found myself in the unfortunate position of receiving a caution back in April 2015.

I was issued a caution for theft, which i was effectively bullied into by the police. Matt managed to expose the police had done this and my caution was removed. I am eternally grateful to him for this as it had destroyed by career and confidence.

Matt was in charge of my case. He is the most hardworking professional solicitor that I know and is very experienced in the field of having police cautions lifted. He did everything in his power, even after working hours or at the weekend he would contact me and update on regular occasions to keep my mind at rest.

Towards the end of everything I honestly saw him as a loyal friend and not just my case handler.

All good news at the end of the case as my caution was lifted. He even went as far as having my arrest record deleted and my DNA records being destroyed.

I would recommend Matt to anyone who was seeking to have a good defendant and a solicitor who specialises in this field.

Matthew was the only solicitor I could find to take on the 9 year old case of a hidden and illegal issue of a caution to my son. He was a minor at the time and was given a permanent ABH caution when he was defending himself having received a major injury on the ground during a rugby match.
After Cleveland police refused to remove this illegal permanent record Matthew efficiently handled the matter and the record has now been correctly expunged.
