I can't recommend Matt Elkins highly enough.

Six years ago I received a caution for possession of a class-a substance. At the time, while disappointed, it didn't appear that it was going to have a huge impact on my life going forward.

Last year I was offered the chance to be transferred to the US. Unfortunately, cautions are a big deal during the visa process, and I was faced with the possibility of losing this opportunity because of my record.

Amazing Result
I received a police caution during around 15 years ago due to a situation that involved obtaining money by deception. The police essentially offered a caution explaining that it wouldn't affect my record going forward and essentially implied that it was a slap on the wrist and due to this I chose not to fight the actual charges. The caution had never affected me up until now when I am trying to move to a different country and realised that they can actually see my full record including any historical cautions.

I spoke to Matt and explained the full situation around what happened and he was very confident he could have this deleted from my record. Matt was great throughout the entire process, giving many updates along the way. My son received a caution which would have followed him around for life. After a look around we found Mr Elkins. Once we had established that we might have a shot at getting the caution removed we proceeded further. Everything was explained early on re: possible outcomes and how payments were to be made at different stages of the process (which knowing where we stood before paying the majority was helpful) but to be honest when it came to the stage where the larger payment was to be paid we were not guaranteed to have the caution removed but we had do it, my son was 18 when he got the caution and it was his whole future so a no brainer. Mr Elkins kept us up to date at every point and his application was thorough and professional. The original caution had two parts and on the initial application the police offered to remove one part, wanting a bit of clarity on what they said Mr Elkins got back in touch and re-appealed to which point the police have now changed their stance and removed the whole caution. I recieved a police caution five years ago, which had a deep impact on my personal, academic and professional life.
I was innocent of the charge and it caused me deep anxiety and many sleepless nights.
