After reviewing the response from the company maybe the reply they sent to me was misleading in as much as it stated ‘at this time’ when it is not a service they offer?
The reply should have stated that they did not offer the service I required as their response led me to believe they did not wish to bother with it ‘at this time’

We state once again we are sorry you feel the need to leave a 1 star review for our company when we don't provide this type of service, we find it rather disappointing that you have had to do this to a family business for services our company does not offer.

I wouldn't even give one star. I bought some leather dye for a pair of shoes and they did not change colour AT ALL. I was then told I should have added extra pigment (presumably another purchase). This was not clear on the website. Customer service was poor - they were just not interested.

this is the wording within the first few lines
" This is used to dye Suede and Nubuck Leather items, it can also change the colour of suede and nubuck leather, but it depends on the original colour for effectiveness, it’s possible you need to add some shoe dyes. "

We would also like to point out we include on all products a MSDS and TDS
The TDS ( technical data sheet) is also very clear about this see extract below, this is the very first sentence on the TDS we cant be more clear than this
" The suede and nubuck dye is designed to re colour suede and nubuck or in some cases to change the colour if required. To change the colour, you may need to add some shoe dye into your mix to make it stronger. "

I've just used their leather cleaner in my cars VERY light grey leather seats. I've tried all sorts to get them clean. This was my final attempt before selling it. I am amazed at how well this stuff works and how easy it is to use! My car is 12 years old and honestly, the seats now look brand new!! Big thumbs up👍👍👍

Great service
I had made a mess of cleaning a pair of shoes and they were too expensive to throw away. From first contact with The Leather Repair Company, the service was first class. They told me what the process was, how long things would take, explained clearly what they had done to my shoes and how to look after them in future. The whole process of sending the shoes in, payment and getting my shoes back was seamless. They even sent me photos of the shows once done! Great service and great value. Highly recommend.

four-day leather Repair course
I have attended a four-day leather repair course, which was a fantastic opportunity for me to improve and learn new skills from a master of leather repair. The way Richard talks about leather is amazing; you can feel during the course that he is putting everything from his heart into teach you abut leather and the whole restoration process. All of this makes you feel like you came to the right place to learn, and you can be sure that you will have the opportunity to be successful in the future. This is the second time I have use The Leather Repair Company. On both occasions the handbags sent for repair and restoration have come back looking like new - one was a family heirloom, the other a well used and well worn bag.

Excellent reliable service
I noticed a very small cut in my beautiful new leather armchair and emailed The Leather Repair Company.
I received a very quick response asking for a photo, I then was advised on how to repair with their leather glue which I was sent a link to purchase.
I was concerned on doing the repair myself and I was sent a link to a YouTube video.
So helpful and I am so relieved that there is no damage any longer visible on the chair.

Great service, excellent value for money
Within a month of buying my first preloved designer leather bag, a bottle of water spilled onto my car seat, and the bag, leaving a big watermark. I contacted Richard, who was very helpful, and sent the bag off for them to have a look at. Carolynne has been brilliant at keeping me updated, and the bag is now back with me and looking great again. Such a fantastic service and excellent value for money. Thank you!

Easy to use service for those leather repairs. Simply complete form, send, they will estimate cost, agree and pay and within no time your leather repair will be returned. Tidy repair, and cleaning and protection product available too. All at a reasonable cost. Don't leave those items in the back of the cupboard any longer and don't just throw away!

Volvo seats like new!
Bought leather seats for my Volvo but they were in poor condition. Spoke with LRC who recommended a colour repair kit. I managed to get a pretty good match on the colour and I’m delighted with the finish.
Mixing the colour can be tricky but it’s easy to check on a test patch before applying.

I sent an email enquiring about re-colouring leather jackets and whether a colourant that was shown on one of their YouTube videos (item LRC21) was still available, plus what other items might I need to prepare the surfaces and seal the colour.
Isobel replied the very next day by lunchtime and sent me advice and all the relevant links. That was great because I sent the original email at 23:59 the previous night.
That's excellent service in my view!
