Unhelpful advisor
This advisor was very unfriendly and unhelpful. I consulted with the leasehold advisor before and never had such a bad experience. She behaved like someone who does not like her job. She just limited herself to read the articles of the BSA 2022 and dismissed my questions like I was bothering her.

You need a lot of patience for a written response
On 24th July sent details of my leasehold issue and requested a written response, so that I had a paper trail. Unfortunately it is now 7th August and my 2 questions, (which you are initially limited to), still haven't been answered and so I have not been able to responded to my flat committee regarding a large invoice that I am questioning. They are chasing me up for payment and I am not armed with the correct information. Ironically, I could have booked a phone call chat, but this service won't allow you to do both. A call would have been more timely, so I recommend everyone does that option and not make the mistake I did. It is such a shame as it's a wonderful concept run by the government that is much needed in this country. I just wish they could give a date of response instead of a vague "up to 2 weeks". Fingers crossed, once I eventually do get some legal advise I will be singing their praises, but so far I have been left disappointed and frustrated.

Advice to seek advice.
I did not find the call helpful. The only advice I was given was to seek legal advice. The call was very brief and the advisor wasn’t engaging with the questions I asked.
