We found Kidsnav really helpful when setting up the account for the watch to make and receive calls. Polite, helpful and quick replies made the process nice and simple.

Great watches that are comfortable to wear. It gives my son independence & me reassurance. Would really recommend.

Great little watches.. good value in comparison to it's competitors.. would be lost with out these. Well the kids would be! Great for keeping track of the kids and for calling them back in for meals!

KiDSnav watch helps us to much with our children to give them a little bit of freedom and know that they can contact us at anytime. The tracker is great to and helps us keep track of where they go.

We have these watches for both our children and they have been great. It allows them to play out and walk to school but we can keep in contact with each other. They also use them to keep in touch with family. The gps isn’t always great but we don’t mind that as we just phone or send them a message when we need to contact them. The customer service is excellent! Would highly recommend

Potential to be great but falls short. Does not fulfil description!
Bought this for my 8 year old who wanted to walk to and from school and start having a bit more independence. Thought I had done my research but unfortunately we just keep having issues. The watch came with a SIM card from 1p mobile - it said you could top up with £10 without signing up for contract. What it didn’t mention is that any remaining balance at the end of 30 days is wiped clear - so essentially it’s £10 a month for SIM card.
Said card never provided 3G signal and whenever I looked at the location it was in an area about a 10m walk away. Never once did it even show the correct street so location services are shocking. We don’t live rural either, Scottish city. I changed providers to sky thinking that would help as that’s who my mobile is with but still only ‘E’ signal and location services not improved.
Having already discussed this with Kids Nav I was told I could return it within the 30 days but nothing afterwards - so we were stuck with it.
It is good that you can phone your child, they can call you but more often than not the watch shows as offline even when I have managed to make a call directly from the watch to my mobile the app doesn’t update. The location services also only updates every 10 minutes so if I wanted to check if my child had made it to school - which is less than a 10 minute walk you would have to just wait.
Sadly, it’s just not lived up to the reviews. We are now 6 months in and looking at alternatives as it’s not fit for purpose.

I don’t understand how the technology for location services can be what they are yet no one can make a simple watch to track your child’s whereabouts

Communication, customer service and the product itself is worth every single penny!
I couldn't get any of the SIM cards to work at first so I emailed for help. I received a reply promptly from Laura who talked me through it and let me know that the O2 SIM required to be topped up to use it. The EE SIM (comes with credit) and Giff gaff (one I already had) SIMs didn't have a signal where I am. The O2 SIM had a full signal but just wouldn't work. I had to phone o2 to top it up, they were extremely helpful, registered, activated the SIM card & set up a £10 a month rolling bundle for me (I chose this). It took a good a few hours after that for O2 to register the bundle but once it was completely set up the watch worked perfectly! It has been amazing being able to keep in touch with my son whilst he's been at camp. Everything about the watch is phenomenal! You need to click on the map for the location to change. The gps is so accurate and easy to use. My son especially loves seeing how many steps he does each day too! I have recommended this watch to everyone and anyone that will listen! It's honestly the best buy!! The customer service is 10/10, I wouldn't have stood a chance without Laura's help as I'm useless with technology!

I mean the customer service is good when I email them regarding ongoing issues with the watches. I have 2 and they could be better

Great watch for my 7 year old, now I dont have to worry when he goes out to play as I can contact him easily. The tracking system is great and easy to use and when you phone you can hear the audio clear. Since my son bought this my niece and her friend have also bought that and they have no complaints either and are very happy with the product.

Delivery of the watch was quick and prompt. Communication from the company has been great and the item was exactly as it was advertised. I had an issue with my watch 9 months after I purchased it as the home button wasn’t working and the company replaced it with no queries, sending back a brand new watch. Also including a screen protector (as my daughter has clearly scratched the face of her old one!)

Perfect way to allow children independence with peace of mind and extra security of having sound guardian. Never have any issues with signal and cannot fault this and would buy this items again in the future for my youngest child.

Great for a first smart watch. The GPS tracking is accurate and the calls are clear. Only slight issue is how easily the screen scratches, but my son is very rough with his things.

The watch gave our 11 year old son independence to be out and about on his own, but always able to contact us. The GPS tracker is not always very quick to respond or hugely accurate even when pinged from the app, but he mainly uses it to ring us and be rung so it doesn’t matter and it will eventually show us the location. He loves the more adult design of the watch and it’s great that it can be put on school mode during the day.

I’m extremely happy with the Kidsnav watch — it’s a fantastic product that brings both functionality and peace of mind. My child can make and receive calls and even video calls, which keeps us connected no matter where they are. One of the best features is the ability to eavesdrop on the surroundings if my child doesn't answer — this has given me incredible reassurance in situations where I couldn’t reach them right away.

Another great feature is the school mode, which allows the watch to be locked during school hours so it doesn’t become a distraction. I love that it’s designed with both safety and responsibility in mind.

Overall, the Kidsnav watch is a great investment for any parent looking to stay connected and ensure their child’s safety. Highly recommend!

Kidsnav have fantastic customer service. I have found them very helpful.
The watch itself has the perfect features for my 8 year old and not too much! However, I feel it doesn't actually function as well as it could in reality. I am not sure if it is to do with the watch or the SIM but the location is completely unreliable, it sometimes says my daughter is in the middle of a roundabout where she has never been. She rarely has signal anywhere we go. In school holidays I forget to turn off school mode and then it's impossible to turn it off when she doesn't have signal.
Definitely get the screen protector.

Brilliant watch for kids. Bought for my Son’s 8th Birthday and he’s delighted with it. Recommend buying the screen protector as we’ve already had a knock to the watch but the protector took the brunt! Good app features too.

Purchased my son's watch back in September 2024 and we have been loving it so far. Gives me so much peace of mind when he is out playing. So easy to use and to set up. Would definitely recommend and great customer service

This is the best GPS in the market. It's features include GPS live tracking, calling your child, your child sending you an SOS (so easy that use, my 4 year old was able to do it), boundary setting, your child can also call you and other people that you have included on the contacts list. You can manage a lot of the settings on there remotely from the app.

My only issue is the new payment set up on the watch, which means that if I don't spend £10 of the credit every so often then £10 is deducted (not the difference, so this could be £9 spent and then £10 is deducted so you spend £19!). The previous set up was better, a £10 top up every 6 months. Especially as I only use the watches on holidays. Trying to work with this minimum spend because the watch is really good and has great features.

Great service when purchasing my daughters first phone watch, she was very excited to get it. Looks really cool and user friendly for her age and as her parents provides such great peace of mind knowing where she is and that we can talk to one another.
