Update saying it was delivered. Nothing had arrived from this company, what arrived was a toy. I think that this company needs to change couriers.
Placed an order 24th July, in good faith it would be delivered. On 9th August received a delivery, supposedly from this company and it wasn't. Tried emailing on multiple occasions and not getting a response. All I want is either the goods I ordered to be delivered or a refund. This is for a birthday party and now it looks like I will have to shop elsewhere

I would definitely order from joy of sweets again.

I placed my order via tiktok shop due to a promotional deal on my favourite fini liquorice sweets. Even at their usual price it is much cheaper than buying the smaller bags at the range.

The delivery wasn't as bad as any previous reviews seem to suggest. Despatch took a little longer than expected but once logistics picked it up it was only 24 hours and the contents were packaged well.
The only small complaint I had is that when I inquired, the response felt very automated and didn't answer much but that's not a problem as all was received fine.

My partner made a bulk order of sweets. There was a significant delay in the dispatch of the items. On arrival the packing slip showed in red writing 3 items out of stock. My partner tried to contact for refund of the 3 items or redelivery of the missing items however there was no response. Had to appeal through paypal who then found in the seller's favour even though the items were missing and there was no contact to my partner. Do not order from them, they are thieves.

I placed an order for a birthday present over 10days later my order still hadn't arrived customer service said delivery in 2/5 working days 8 working days and still no order, final after repeated emails to joy of sweets my order arrived 15 days after placing my order... Will definitely not be using this company again and I recommend you take your money elsewhere.

I placed order a week ago and still has not delivered and no replies to the email customer service.
I would appreciate an update rather than multiple emails ignored.
I am now waiting to raise dispute with the bank so I can get a refund. But absolute shambles you try to support small businesses but this is what you end up with!
Wanted the order for a birthday party so frustrating that I have to order from somewhere else now at last minute

8th Aug update
Received my order 28th July - 11 days after my order was placed!! Pretty ridiculous I guess the sweets were being handmade ! Subsequently two packets of sweets were missing from the order. At this point it’s not shocking at all. Wrote to complain about this on 31st July -and 8 days later my emails still being ignored.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

There are many other companies selling sweets so try your luck with another company but this one is just rubbish !!!

Response to your reply- your internal checks and communication simply fail as you don’t respond to emails as per all the other reviews here! I’m not the only one complaining !

Great choice, great value, love that they have even more options especially some swedish sweets! Delivery is usually a little slower but received my order within a week this time. All round - excellent! Thank you!

Zero customer service! Was told last Friday they were dispatched but by Monday the courier didn't have them reached out and was told they missed the deadline Friday?! But okay Monday afternoon/ Tuesday something about power supply issues again can't be helped. But then told they would be shipped Thursday because they went to the beach Wednesday or something well Thursday has now been and gone and shock horror courier still doesn't have the parcel!! So been sat god knows where for a week in this heat?! Have requested a refund but no such luck or even a reply nothing. Were needed for my trip tomorrow as I leave Friday morning! So no refund and no delivery will have to open a dispute with my bank. Waited 10days for an order and entire week of the sweets sat in a box baking in the heat! No thanks.

I know il get the standard ‘ contact us at hello@joyofsweets’ but that is a waste of time! Order not arrived, been emailing for last two weeks had one reply saying they couldn’t locate my email address yet I’ve sent order number and details in several occasions which have been ignored, no not order , it won’t arrive and bloody good luck getting a refund

To be fair they don't even deserve a star I placed an order 20th June and got email on 25th June saying dispatched and evri are still waiting for parcel I emailed joy of sweets on 28th of June they replied it takes 2 to 5 working days from 21st to 25th is 5 days and it's July 4th and still no update clearly someone doesn't know how to run a business I rather cancel my order and they can stick the sweets up they backsides

My husband purchased from here 26th may its now 1st July and still no delivery he's emailed numerous times they only replied once saying they had not received any other emails they asked if he wanted a replacement or refund to which he asked for replacement then again no communication no replacement but when he left a negative comment on Facebook they emailed asking why he left negative comment when we had received a replacement. I don't believe they ever even sent out the 1st lot as evri never even received from sender. Avoid buy elsewhere.

Have been waiting seven weeks for order no response from company

Ordered custom sweets on 10th June for an event 21st June in plenty of time. Order was not dispatched until 17th. Order has still not arrived.....status is 'proceeding to carrier' and has been since 17th..... Ive contacted the courier they confirmed the parcel is still with you. I had to buy sweets from another company instead for the event. So im double my money out of pocket..... I've chased you 3 times....no response. I want my money back DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. 😡😤🤬 WORST CS EVER. I'll be sure to spread the word.

I have used this company before around Xmas and the delivery was quite delayed I thought I would give them another go. I ordered on the 10th June for a birthday present on the 1st July and they have still NOT BEEN SENT. I have sent multiple emails a few have been replied to and a few just ignored. Product good if you actually get it but delivery very very slow. I won’t use them again as they are not reliable enough.

I wish I had seen this page before I ordered, it's been 15 days and I have still not received my purchase, to add insult to injury they charged me £5 for the worlds slowest delivery, avoid this company like the plague, you will only be left disappointed, I would give 0 stars if I could.

The delivery time and communication is a joke. I emailed twice and they said I hadn't. I've messaged them also. I ordered on the 10th June and still nothing!! DO NOT ORDER I wish I'd looked on here first 😡

Really disappointing service. Still waiting for my order and when you chase they just update the tracking info to say it's been sent. Evri have been expecting it for 4 days now. I ordered for a birthday gift for 5th July thinking I had plenty of time. Should have read the reviews on here! £20 spent with no products

I placed an order almost 2 weeks ago, said 2-5 days delivery. Been in contact and no response from the company after asking for my order number...even after emailing again! Upon looking at the reviews I wish I hadn't bothered! £30 down the drain thanks to this company.

I ordered a full pub card of Smith's Bacon Fries from this company, I had to throw half of them away due to the side of the bag seals being split. There were even oily fingerprints on the back of the card when I first opened the package, showing it had been obviously oily when packaged up for postage. Won't be buying from this company again.

Updated response: to clarify why you are confused:-

I can't see an automated email from you, not even in my junk regarding the 48 hours response time. I actually emailed you on Monday 16th June, Thursday 19th and Saturday 21st June.
You replied on Saturday 21st June so even by your own admission of 48 hours, you exceeded this.

Your delivery method says 2-5 days. Not dispatch within 5 days so this needs to be clearer.

And frankly, 13 days (10 business days)....and still counting...is just ridiculous. You are not up front about delivery. I needed these for an event and I had to re-order elsewhere.

Tracking is also very poor as it still says with sender.

No delivery of sweets, no communication, no tracking details. There is no joy in using this company whatsoever try the many others out there that aren’t a con.
I see they reply to reviews so just add, I haven’t once had a response to an email I sent.
