We rented a house with Jordanfishwick for a year from July 2023- July 2024. We arranged for a time for our keys to be picked up and when arriving at the agency, they told us they didn’t have our keys and to go to the house and someone would give us our keys there. Got to the property, no one was there and was charged an extra fee by the moving van company as we had to wait around for their mistake. After living in the property for a month or so we noticed that there we fleas and we were being bitten despite not owning pets. When we brought this to their attention they couldn’t care less about it and even tried telling us it was our fault and we “must” have pets. A few weeks after that we discovered mice in the property which must’ve been the cause for the fleas. Again no interest. Small things such as loose taps and inspections were fine but if we ever called up and asked to speak to our property manager he was always rude and arrogant. Clearly thought just because we’re students we must be trouble and therefore thought the way we were spoken to and even written too was very passive aggressive and not needed. At the end of our tenancy we had our inspection and out check out inventory where it stated the property did not need a deep clean. We then got a lovely bill through asking for £400 in cleaning fees despite this. We disputed and only had to pay £115 as we left the property in a state as to how it was when we moved in. Clean maybe a few moving boxes left behind and that was all. They just seem to want money out of students and put no care into keeping everyone satisfied.

It was a very unprofessional agency. They refused to support my sister-in-law in informing the landlord about the damages in the house. They forced me to pay for one full year of rent for the lady. She has been so depressed and frustrated. The house has a leaking bathroom and a terrible basement. They refused to allow me to access the Landlord.

Despite an incredible workload, Adam attended to and resolved all issues raised throughout our tenancy which inevitably arose in an older property. I also enjoyed using interactive apps for administrative tasks that made locating important documentation easier. Agent to one of the worst landlords I've ever experienced. Said they worked for the landlord and not us. Well they wouldnt have renters for the landlords if that's how think. Incessant phone calls when we were moving out - we wanted to buy the house we rented, got told we had first refusal if it went up for sale. Finally after asking 5 times over 3 years if we could buy it, we let the landlord know we were moving and magically it went up for sale. Jordan fishwick advertised it so overpriced they only got 1 viewing in a year and ended up putting it back up for rent - for 200 more than welcome wanted it for! With no improvement, lack of insulation, falling apart brick work, mouldy shed, rats next door, no parking, no garden, bathroom floor leaking for £925 a month!!! Outrageous. House in question was 6 Chadkirk Cottages. Would not recommend renting with original landlords Sefton Bleasefale and would barter down price to the 700 we were paying (it's a 1 bedroom house!)

Excellent estate agent. Cannot praise them enough. Held my hand throughout a difficult sale where a link, further down the chain, proved to be a nightmare. They really do care and they are professional, helpful and above all kind.
I really wouldn't go to anyone else.

From the first visit there was a genuine passion for selling our house and appreciation of the home we'd created (and potential for another family to enjoy it!) Communication with Harriet was great and she really worked hard to push through to the end point (completion).

We used Jordan Fishwick after our landlord switched management company, the transfer process was very promptly and professionally handled by our contacts at the company Joely and Yasmine, who were both very helpful and polite during the transfer and our eventual moving out of the property.

I have used JF for several years as my letting agency and on every occasion, they have proved themselves reliable, informative and professional. There may be cheaper agencies out there and there may be more expensive ones, but since Jordan Fishwick has never failed me and has always delivered the goods, I see no reason to take my business elsewhere.

On this occasion, their marketing was excellent and led to several offers to rent my flat, and I have naturally accepted one. My main point of contact throughout the process has been Joely Brooks. She has gone the extra mile in terms of making things run smoothly, and finding a very fairly priced decorator to freshen my flat up.

So, thanks mostly to her, along with her colleague Yasmin Dowe for making this a seamless and rewarding, trouble free process.
