JDM Chislehurst are the local agent to use without doubt and I would highly recommend them. Steven May has been an absolute star from start to finish in the process of selling our home, ensuring that the chain did not fall apart by liaising with solicitors, and other agents acting for other parties in the chain to keep everyone on track. He resolved issues and has a vast knowledge of the process, so was able to deal with matters quickly to an amicable solution. Always very calm with his approach, which in turn helped all involved and without his input our sale and purchase could have easily fallen through. The rest of the team have been very professional and efficient and managed all viewings on our behalf and achieved an early sale. We are delighted with the service that was provided by JDM and the Team at Chislehurst Branch.

Apart from one v helpful lady at the Eltham Branch. I move had a really awful and quite frankly bullying level of service from this branch manager . I gave the spare key to the agent to show qualified buyers around. Numerous times only one bolt on the door was locked, not the dead bolt and me having to call the agent to remind them to ensure both bolts should be locked. Once lights left on and when I messaged the manager he didn’t even get back to me and communication was a constant problem where the manager wouldn’t get back to me despite texting he would. I have all the chaser emails and text messages.
I could go on but honestly he’s not worth the effort. Such a shame as the lady he has recently appointed to follow up and offer a level of customer service is wonderful.

I cannot thank JDM Estate Agents (Locksbottom) enough for the fantastic support and professionalism which they have shown us from what started as a very traumatic and personal situation. I would 100% recommend JDM. A huge thank you to all of the team.

JDM staff were unhelpful throughout our tenancy especially when moving in. The day we arrived to collect the keys at checkin the carpets had only just been cleaned and were wet (the property had been empty for a month) and there was a gentleman cementing the outside steps so we could not get our furniture into the back of the house. Following this we had many issues which were all documented and many not resolved.

We had no hot water for 6 days and then JDM tried to charge us for fixing this three months later when we said we would be moving out.

Since we had issues from moving in we did not sign the inventory and when moving out they tried to charge us for the moving in issues we had informed them off.

We had damp which was not addressed. They had no keys at their office for our property so had to keep taking time off from work to let contractors in. One even turned up at their office and was told they could not find the keys. They even turned up for viewings with the wrong keys lucky my partner was in to let them in. The inventory clerk did not even notice that the oven door had no glass in the top oven.

Update 7th February JDM comments below are untrue. They did not look into anything and we were awarded money back as went through TDS. The process took over 3 months to get more of our deposit back but worth it in the end.

If you are seeking an estate agent in the Chislehurst area then you can do no better than instruct JDM. We have recently used the company to sell our home, the service was extremely professional. Every member of staff that we spoke to was friendly, efficient,approachable and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the local property market, which enabled them to supply sage advice and support throughout the progress of the transaction.
They are agents that you can trust and rely upon, I recommend them wholeheartedly.

JDM were excellent in all respects. I really felt they acted in my best interests, guiding and offering their support from the beginning to the very end. It is the latter aspect that especially impressed me. The after sales and ongoing service even after exchange of contracts was second to none, including dealing/negotiating on extra furnishings the purchaser wanted. I should specifically mention Kristina S and Jemima L who were so responsive and with us all the way. Use of their personal mobiles and texts was so efficient too. Absolutely disgusting service. Went to view a property in which showed interest in, kept ringing the agent who showed me the property and he never returned my calls. Disappointed with the service. Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
