We had an amazing 4 day trek with the company. Herlin and Justin were very knowledgeable as guides and always brought positive attitude and encouragement to the group while chef Sabino did the very best to bring the haute cuisine experience in the wilderness and catered to all dietary needs. The company is local and looks after their staff well - definitely our top choice for another Peru trip!
Thank you Inkayani Tours and our porters for the most fantastic 4-day Classic Incatrail from 12-15th July 2024. And a huge and special thanks to our guide, Herlin, who with hos patience helped me survive the 45 km up and down steps to 4.200 meters and finally to Machu Picchu, as I struggled with my breath. Now I understand why: On my trip back, I ended up at a hospital in Amsterdam with Covid.

Exoticca cancelled our 10 day Peru trip 19 days before our departure date. Our dates were set in stone... and I am SOO grateful I found Inkayni as a replacement. I am certain overall it was a much better tour. City tour of Lima, few days in Cusco, Machu Picchu, few days in Aguas Calientes, then to Puno and Lake Titicaca including a "home stay" then back to Lima and home. They offer several tours. They are located in Cusco which is where our guide Jonathan was from. He was very knowledgeable, energetic, fun to be with and honest. His English is excellent. We also had a driver, Miguel who was an excellent driver. So, it was just the two of us with the two Inkayni employees. Our trip was awesome. I literally have no complaints at all. The tour company also worked with us when our flight into Peru was delayed a day. So.... I would avoid cheap-o outfits like Exoticca... as they may well cancel your trip and leave you hanging. I highly recommend Inkayni. They made what was a disaster into an AWESOME trip.
In July 2019, my girlfriend and I did the "10 Day Andean Highlights "Machu Picchu & Puno" w/int flights" tour with Inkayni and we had a fantastic trip! The itinerary was planned nicely and our guide, Herlin, did a great job! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our preferences as he on several occasions offered to alter the agenda to better accommodate us. His efforts and presence made our trip all the more enjoyable! Overall, we highly recommend this agency, trip and guide!
