Item STILL NOT RECEIVED AFTER 6 MONTHS, lied to be about delivery dates, refund refused - AVOID THIS COMPANY
Having placed an order on September 10 2013, I looked forward to receiving my stool in the next few weeks.
When I made the purchase I was not advised the item was not in stock and would be made to order. I also received an email confirmation, which does not state the order was not in stock and would be made to order.
A month later I enquired why I had not received the item. At this point I was told the item would be delivered within 18 weeks - in the beginning of the new year - because the item was being made to order. I was disappointed, but decided to wait for this period.
In December I once again enquired about delivery and was told I would receive a delivery notice in the first week of February.
This date came and went. So, in the second week of February, I once again asked for a delivery date. On this occassion I was told the item was expected to arrive at Ikon M's warehouse by the end of March and would be shipped to me 5-10 working days after this.
I replied to Ikon M that a delivery date nearly 7 months after placing the order with no fair warning was not acceptable and that I would instead like to cancel the order and receive a refund.
Ikon M refused, claiming that because the item was made to order their terms and conditions did not allow for a refund.
Once again I pointed out that I had no point been advised the item was not in stock and would be made to order. I also pointed out to Ikon M that their terms and conditions were in contravention of UK distance selling regulations, which state that items should be received within 30 days and allow the purchaser to cancel an order in exchange for a full refund at any point from placing the order until seven working days after receiving the item.
Rather than processing my refund, the Ikon M customer services adviser replied that the delivery would be earlier that previously estimated - the item was due to be received in the third week of February and I would receive delivery 5-10 days after this.
On February 20 I was contacted by Interlink Express, who texted me to say the item would be delivered on February 24. This day came and went with no delivery. So, on March 3, having still not received the item I contacted Interlink.
They told me they had received details of the order from Ikon M but had not received the item for delivery.
I now have no choice but to pursue Ikon M for a refund through my bank - I don't believe they ever intend to deliver this item to me.
I honestly can't think of any other explanation. How can a company operate on this basis and expect any kind of repeat custom?
I urge you to shop elsewhere. There are plenty of other reputable suppliers of replica furniture online, with which I have never had a problem.
I just wish I had seen the litany of negative reviews of this company before I placed the order.
Great design for a fraction of the price
Very good, high quality product. I ordered the grasshopper lamp and love it. I would say that pre-notification of delivery would help a great deal. And get rid of the styrofoam used in delivery

Firmaet forventede levering før jul - intet skete!
Jeg skriver for at spørge til min vare og de siger at der er sket en fejl på lagret og at den bliver sendt med det samme - fair nok.... intet sker.
Jeg skriver igen og spørger efter T&T nummer, og får svaret "pakken bliver sendt med det samme og her er dit T&T" - ingen pakke sendt iflg. T&T og nej der kom ingen pakke efter de 5-10 dage.
Jeg skriver igen og spørger til min vare... - "vi skal pakke varen om og venter på kasser, det tager lidt tid men vi sender varen med det samme ca.2-3 uger" - efter 3 uger ingen vare...
Nå jeg skriver igen... og svaret "Tak for din mail. Vi har netop modtaget papkasserne, så du bør have din stol leveret indenfor fem til ti arbejdsdage.(d.18/2)" - intet sker iflg. mit T&T
Jeg skriver igen både igår 25/2 og 26/2 da T&T nummeret stadig er dødt... og svaret er at min pakke endnu ikke er afsendt.
Leveringstiden er pt. kun overskredet med 10 uger men pyt.... det er jo ingen tid... især for en julegave.
Jeg har kort talt mig frem til at de kun svarer på 50% af mine emails, men ok jeg har tid nok til at sende to emails... Det skal siges at de også har en live chat hvor de umiddelbart heller ikke har super god svar frekvens.
Et godt råd til ikonm - informer dog om at i har problemer med kasserne og lad vær med at sige at i sender pakken med det samme når i ikke gør det... (min mor har sagt at man ikke må lyve...)

Jeg er blevet bedt om at kommentere min tilfredshed med IKONM hvilket er svært da min ordre først forventes omkring 1. juni. Det jeg kan sige er at jeg er fuldt tilfreds med besvarelserne af de spørgsmål jeg har haft til IKONM indtil nu. Jeg håber og forventer at forblive positiv også efter at jeg har modtaget varen.
En usædvanlig positiv oplevelse!
Vi havde gennem længere tid undersøgt indbo markedet. Vi havde nogle ganske bestemte ønsker, der skulle opfyldes.
På et tidspunkt kom vi ind på IkonM´s hjemmeside, og her synes vores ønsker og krav at kunne opfyldes.
Det endte med, at vi bestilte nye stole - ganske vist med det i baghovedet, at hjemmesiden måske havde været for optimistisk.
Men da vi fik vore møbler, må vi sande, at der ikke var blevet lovet for meget. Tværtimod.
Vi er meget glade for vores handel - og har da også bestilt efterfølgende.
Servicen er helt i top - vores forespørgsler blev besvaret omgåendee, og altid med en usædvanlig venlighed.

Disappointed by the quality
Finishing of my bubble chair was far from what I expected, quality was not good. Sure, after numerous emails, I got a giftcard worth 50% of the value as a refund, but what I wanted was a good quality bubble chair. That I didn't get.

Det var nemt at bestille på hjemmesiden, men leveringstiden der var anført på hjemmesiden passede ikke helt og man fik ikke automatisk et traking nummer så man kunne følge sin levering, og så stod der at leveringen var sat på pause. Det forstod jeg ikke så efter et stykke tid, tjekkede jeg igen, men der stod det samme. Så kontaktede jeg dem på tjatten og fik oplyst at leveringen ville foregå ca. midt i februar og det kom til at passe. Men da jeg fortsat ikke automatisk fik et traking nummer kontaktede jeg dem igen, da der nu efter 4 uger stod at varen var leveret, og efter nogle få minutter på tjatten fik jeg et traking nummer så jeg kunne tjekke hvor varene var. Man bliver jo lidt nervøs når man i pressen hører om andre tilsvarende leverandører der ikke er til at komme i kontakt med og ligefrem snyder sine kunder. Men Ikonm har hele tiden været til at komme i kontakt med og virker fuldt pålidelige, leverer til tiden og kvaliteten er helt i top på de leverede varer. Så jeg kan kun anbefale Ikonm til andre og vil helt sikkert handle der igen. Mine varmeste anbefalinger af Ikonm. Men de bør sende et traking nummer automatiskt.
Svindelforetagende?
Bestilte en Florence Knoll stol og fodskammel i januar 2014. Har rykket flere gange og fået afglidende svar, men at levering ville ske snarest. Inter er sket - og nu svarer de slet ikke på rykkere.

Appalling customer service.
I ordered upholstery for an LC4 chair in July. It was then apparently made to order, but only after multiple emails was it then apparently ready to send at the beginning of December, some five months later.
Well, now a further two months later, it still hasn't arrived. Apparently it is meant to be "in the warehouse", because it was picked up and never sent. I have sent multiple emails and made multiple phone calls, most of which have been unanswered. Emails are not responded to, and telephone calls are met with "we are investigating and will get back to you". Of course no-one ever gets back to me, even when a specific time-frame is promised (last week it was two days; a week after hearing nothing, I telephone again, only to be told "we are conducting an investigation and someone will get back to you").
Today I asked for a refund. I was told, "we are conducting an investigation and someone will get back to you".
Hands down, worst customer service I've ever had from any online store, ever.
Uacceptabelt levering - usande beskeder
Jeg bestilte en GYNGESTOL AF CHARLES EAMES - præcis den 31. August 2013 . Og jeg har stadig ikke modtaget varen, men i dag fik jeg så den besked om at stolen først vil blive leveret i starten af maj 2014, ingen forklaring om hvorfor den pludselige lange ventetid og ikke den sædvanlige besked på 2-3 uger.
For at tage den fra starten, så vælger jeg at skrive til dem efter min bestilling, da jeg ikke får en leveringstid. Her får jeg så en besked om at varen vil blive leveret sidst i november. Vi kommer så til november og jeg modtager stadig ingen stol, så jeg skriver til den i starten af december. Nu får jeg så besked på at varen vil blive leveret om 2-3 uger. Efter 3 uger, får jeg så en besked efter at jeg selv skriver til dem, hvor min varer bliver af, de skriver at den er strandet i London, da der ikke var plads til alle pakker som skulle leveres inden jul, så jeg vil først modtage varen i midten af januar hvor de vil lave en ny forsendelser. Jeg modtager stadig intet og får så Bedsted på at min stol vil komme om 1-2 uger som så var for en uge siden og nu reder så først i maj 2014.
Det er bare ikke i orden at de bliver ved med at rykke leveringen. Hvis de nu fra starten kom med en korrekt melding, så kunne man måske accepterer det, men når det her så ske, ser jeg ikke andet end et fupfirma og jeg er spændt på om stolen nogensinde finder vej til min adresse.
Jeg giver dem dog en stjerne, da de har besvaret alle mine mails fra Kundeservice. Men jeg ville ikke købe hos dem igen, med mindre at man har det fint med at skulle vente i godt 9 måneder. (Sidste besked på leveringstid).
Inefficient, bad communication and service
We placed an order last month and the payment was taken straightaway and it confirmed the delivery was 1-2weeks and this was a stock item. The item was delivered within 2 weeks but it was with wrong material (marble top rather than fibreglass top) and the marble top arrived broken in two pieces. We informed on the very same day and had to chase for two days to get a proper answer. We were told to dispose of the broken pieces which is not an easy thing to dump when it's heavy marble pieces and were told the item was now out of stock for 14 weeks.
We suggested that they could lend us a table while we wait and replace it when they get the correct item in. There was no reply for three days despite of our daily email chasing for an answer.
Finally we decided we didn't want anything to do with this company and told them we wanted to cancel the order and wanted the refund immediately.
They didn't come back again so we had to call only to be told that they only do refunds in the beginning of each hence they would cancel our order now but we won't get the refund back till the beginning of March. Apparently their account manager only does refund once a month.
This is a truly bad practice for a company to give such bad service and treatment. We are very sure none of their staff want to be treated like this by any company when they are purchasing items.
We would stay well away from this company and would let the others know.
Jag är en nöjd kund!
Jag har köpt en Harry Bertoia barstol kopia från Ikon M och den kom på tre veckor som dom sa. Stolen är jätte fin och den ser exakt ut som orginalet.
Slow delivery, bad communication and wrong information
Unfortunately I can't recommend this company to anyone which is a shame as there products are lovely. I order 3x dining chairs in early August 2013. As others have already stated I only realised after placing my order that delivery times could be upto 18 weeks. This needs to made much clearing when going through the checkout process as this company takes full payment for your purchase upfront.
As I'd already ordered I just decided to wait unfortunately I didn't receive any communication from Ikon M for weeks after I placed my order to update me on the status of my order. Again this is something I feel they need to look at. In a nut shell, I waited a total of 21 weeks and a few days for my chairs to arrive in early January despite sending over 20 emails and making numerous phone calls to try and find out what was happening with my order.
I was also promised on several occasions that my chairs were defiantly on there way and would be with me before Christmas which turned out to be completely false.
To be balanced (this is why I have given two stars not one) My chairs are very nice and I am happy with my purchase. Ikon M did also admit there had been issues with my order and apologised for the delay and inaccurate information I was given by staff. I asked for a refund of my delivery costs but they refused and said all they could offer was a online discount voucher code for £30 (my total order was over £200). It's safe to say I won't be ordering anything from them again even with a voucher, very bad experience overall.
No delivery yet
I have been informed that after six months my chair has finally been sent. I have still not received it after a week and no one ever answers the phone at the Ikon-M London office. My emails to the company have also gone unanswered. I have no way of tracking delivery or finding out whether the package has been lost.
This service is deplorable and I cannot recommend the company to anyone.
