FINALLY CAUGHT OUT?

I won't even describe my experience as it's been done again and again, no communication, money taken swiftly but that's about all the action from this company, etc. I actually only just found out about these reviews, when I couldn't access my account with them and it dawned on me that it could be some kind of a scam, so I googled it and here I am - ah, if only I'd started with that.

Anyway, so it now seems that they've vanished as you can't even go on the site, not just log in, but the general home site, and they're nowhere to be found on Facebook... or is it just me? I'm actually surprised, if they have been dealt with and it's not just a temporary glitch, that it's taken so long, in view of all the disgruntled customers filing fraudulent claims and whatnot.

Now filing a claim for fraudulence

My mastercard company is investigating this company. Ikonm were quick to take £901.66 in April 2014 when I made my telephone order. verbally they assured me 6 weeks till delivery. Since then I have received emails 'ship ahoy...your items are being delivered..' Nothing has arrived, what's worse is it is impossible to speak to anyone except for the friendly automated voice reply. The best communication I received was an email to say
Thank you for your email!
Our office is currently getting rewired, this is why you cannot get through to us by phone.
Completely unprofessional behaviour, what's more, I notice that their website becomes increasingly diminished in terms of items offered.

Waiting for delivery and no contact from Ikonm despite numerous attempts to reach them.

A simple and easy purchase, however the product has not arrived and I am unable to get in touch with Ikon m. I can't get through to their customer services and have sent numerous emails but have had no response. It is interesting that they are asking me to rate them when they have not yet delivered the product.

I would appreciate hearing from them when they plan to deliver the product.

Don't Waste Your Time

Item finally arrived at their warehouse & was sent out for delivery. Despite receiving a delivery notification from City Link, Ikonm never released the item. I have been told that my item is now in stock, in fact it has been in stock for over 2 weeks. However, they still refuse to post as they claim they have other orders of higher importance to attend to. Now correspondance has gone quiet & am left in the dark with no answers.
Absolute abysmal customer service. I hate to think what the products are like, though I'll probably never find out.
I have filed a fraudulent transaction with the bank & reported to trading standards. With any luck this shambles of a company will get shut down.
Please do not purchase anything from this company, you will only be disappointed!

Do Not Trust IKON M / SUPERSCANDI - We Are Contacting Trading Standards & Bank Fraud Dept

We had the incorrect product eventually delivered to us last week (July 2014) after several delays (ordered mid Dec 2013).

We are unable to contact the company by phone (you will hear a deceptively polite answerphone message though) and there is no response to emails.

Deal with these guys and expect to be out of pocket and scrambling around with your local citizens advice, trading standards and your banks fraud department.

With their professional looking website being updated and also a new clone site set up at the same postal address and telephone number called SUPERSCANDI but no contact possible with them either we worry that this company is grabbing what orders it can before going bust and changing name due to their legal issues in Swedish courts as of June 2014.

We are personally out of pocket by £740. Gutted.

Never in a million years would I order from them again

Bad product, inaccurate delivery info/ times, terrible customer service...they still have my money despite promising to give it back over 2 months ago. Can't get them on the phone - they won't call me back and now they are not returning emails. Am surprised they are still trading

Very poor service

I have ordered 4 chairs that were marked as in stock and should take between 2-4 weeks to reach us. Two week after we received a message from the courier saying that our chairs were to be delivered on the 2nd of July. But we received NOTHING! After calling the courier I was informed that they are waiting for the package to reach them. I have tried to contact Ikon M by email and received no reply. I tried to call and I get a message saying the lines are busy but can't believe this is true as I have tried several times.
This is the worse client service I have experienced on e-commerce. I am now wondering if the company is still trading. Must say the money to pay for the goods left my account very quickly.
I would not recommend or order again.

Receiving an email asking for customer feedback when my queries remain unanswered is the ultimate irony.

Avoid at all costs

I ordered two chairs from this company at a very reasonable price. I now begin to doubt that the company are even trading, much less have any kind of customer service. I was emailed after my order to let me know i would hear about a delivery date when my order was ready. I subsequently received a text from interlink with a scheduled delivery date. I took the day off work and waited all day, and nothing arrived. This was 4 days ago and it still hasnt turned up.I have repeatedly tried calling Ikon M but their phone line constantly goes to answerphone saying they are busy (refuse to believe that is permanently the case), i have emailed them twice, sent them messages via facebook and twitter. I havent had a single response. I am beginning to think i have been conned out of my money and will be pursuing them through the courts if i dont hear something soon. Avoid this bunch of robbing cowboys like the plague.

Appalling T&Cs, no product for 5 months

My wife 'bought' me a chair for my birthday. The chair was purchased and paid for in full and as with many other similar retailers was expected for delivery a few days later. When it didn't arrive my wife re checked the website (and this review site) to find that the chair was being 'produced' and would take rather a long time. A ETA was give of 14 weeks which seemed ridiculous but the T&Cs on the website made it abundantly clear that we had no option of cancelling the order or trying to get a refund.
After 18 weeks we contacted the company to be told we should now expect the chair some time in August. 5 months after ordering. Seeing as a number of the reviews on here are complaining about damage when the chair actually arrive god knows what I expect when / if the product actually arrives. My compensation for having ended up paying for something and not receiving it for 5 months ( that is the best possible situation, I have no confidence that this August date will not also slip) ... 20% off my NEXT purchase. Next? You have to be kidding. The single most disappointing retail experience of my life. Absurd.

Ikon M dont care if they ship wrong products.

We ordered black chairs and received white, that can happen, Ikon M says they are sorry and will send the correct black chairs when they have picked up the wrong ones. After 3 weeks they cannot tell when or how they pick up and fix their mistake. Same standard answer every time “ we will pick up very soon”. Right now, I have no idea if they actually will pick up.
Ikon M will sell you stuff. If you are lucky you get what you paid for, but if they make a mistake they will not help you, or at least keep you informed with useful answers. Then it is hard to recommend Ikon M to anyone. My suggestion, try one of their competitors, it cant be worse.
I still hope Ikon M will answer this open letter and come up with a useful answer…….time will show

3 months later no sign of furniture and can't get hold of anyone at Ikon!

I ordered a range of furniture in March and was told that it would arrive within 14 weeks. I then received an email only a week or so ago saying it would now not arrive until August. I have tried to contact them via phone and email everyday since then with no response and the phone rings onto answer machine every time which is incredibly frustrating. I'm now stuck on what to do.

Incredibly disappointing service.

Unaceptable low quality of customer support

June 20th:
I have made several orders at IkonM.
Last year everything went smooth.
This year things are missing and order log not updated correctly. Nor is it changed as I point this out.
Deliveries are partial and done by dumping goods outside garage without asking for sign-off or calling us, leaving tens of thosands of kroners worth of goods standing free for anyone to grap.
I have also been charged for shipping cost when qualifying for free shipping. Partly my problem as I forgot to change the default country in the address field to DK (from UK), but when I pointed it out, I recieved all sorts of lame excuses saying I had to pay. Really annoying as I had to be very persistent for them to finally agree to a refund. That was weeks ago, I still have not received a refund.
My second last order is now three weeks overdue.
I'll give them one thing, though; the goods are actually of high quality - once and if they arrive.

July 6th update:
Before writing the above, I sent the company three seperate complaints handling three seperate areas. They answered one - with a promise. The rest remains unanswered and I am still clueless to why one of my chairs are not arriving according to expected schedule and why my order log is still in a mess and not updated despite repeated requests.

I Januar 2014 bestilte og betalte jeg en stol hos IKON M i London.
I dag, den 20 juni har jeg ikke modtaget den.
De svarer ikke på mine mails - og jeg har ringet - men der er telefonsvarer på.

Hvad skal jeg dog gøre ????

Delivery took a year, then delivery company lost it.

I ordered a Barcelona chair with ottoman. The ottoman arrived as promised. The chair was made by order and estimated to arrive in 4-5 months. I waited for almost one year and when they finally sent it to me, the delivery was lost by the delivery company. I had to ask my money back but Ikon M didn't pay the whole amount that I had paid for the chair. I asked the reason, they said they paid the refund mistakenly according to the ottoman that I already had.

Now I have the ottoman with no chair and Ikon M doesn't even bother to make the refund in time. I have asked about the refund a few times now. The customer service doesn't allways even reply the e-mail I send them. I think I don't dare to order the chair for my ottoman if it takes a year more and the results may be the same.

The one star I gave to Ikon M is for the cheap prices. I can't say anything about the product because I haven't got it.

Perfect

I received a sofa after a 12 week lead time and I am very happy with it, considering the amount I paid for it the overall quality of the product and the leather material are both excellent.

I will buy from these guys again.

I have now sent 20 emails and had no response and have left numerous voicemails and no response - that sums it up

I ordered 6 cushions which were supposed to be light blue. All good so far and website looked professional. I had a courteous email from the company informing me that 4 of the 6 cushions could be shipped immediately but 2 would have a lead time of 8+ weeks. I thought this was pretty honest and good communication.
However when the initial 4 cushions arrived they were dark blue and not light blue as advertised. I emailed and asked to return as they were not the articles advertised and asked to cancel the remaining on order products as they were no as advertised. I was told to send a photograph of the box with the order number on and they would arrange a courier to pick up. Despite chasing on numerous occasions I heard nothing. Then they replied and said this is the only blue we do so they are as ordered (despite it being completely the different colour advertised) and offered me a 10% gift card (£17). I refused this and asked for a refund. They now do not answer emails. No one answers the phone in the office. I leave voicemails but no one returns the call. I am not sure if the company is still in business. if it is then it is unbelievably poor service. My order number was 400003714 so I am a genuine distressed customer

Tilfredstillende Produkt. Sen leveranse. Ikke tracking på leveransen. Kjøp krever din tålmodighet.

Vare ble levert i Stavanger 6 måneder og 3 dager etter bestilling. Ved kjøpstidspunt var jeg forespeilet ca 18 uker. Stolen var fin som forventet. Jeg er fornøyd. Det er ikke tilfredsstillende å ikke få trackingnummer slik at leveringen kan følges. Misvisende og forhalende kommunikasjon i mailene. Ha tålmodighet dersom du bestiller.
