Motors they recommend aren't and haven't been in stock, two of the China junk planes are bad quality.. when I'm stock the batteries and servos are ok...

I placed an order for three lipo batteries that seem to have been lost in transit. I have been in communication with HobbyKing for over two months and they have just kept me waiting and waiting while I am out of pocket over £100

Shocking customer service!!!

My return went as promised. My only issue was that instead of getting a refund on the shipping cost they gave me a credit vs. $$

Everything I have ever purchased worked great. Very good battery selection in addition to RC planes. Very good cutomer support as well.

J'avais de gros doutes sur ce site, je voulais faire l'acquisition d'un RC chez eux, mais mon Fils en a un très mauvais souvenir, après concertation des avis, je préfère ne rien commander et aller voir chez des revendeurs plus sérieux !

Stand 2025 kann man Hobbyking getrost vergessen.

Das war mal vor 10Jahren alles anders. Da hat man tonnenweise Zeug bestellt, wusste ganz klar welche Qualität es hat, aber die Qualität hat zum Preis gestimmt. Damals wurden auch noch LiPo Akkus ohne großen Stress aus China geliefert.

Stand heute: nicht einmal Hobbyking weiss mit welchem Logistiker sie die Akkus verschicken können. Der Shop ist so undurchsichtig, dass mir vor einer Woche direkt die Alarmglocken hätten leuten müssen.

Die Bestellung inkl. Akkus hing aus unbekannten Gründen fest und konnte nicht ausgeführt werden. Lagerbestände hatten gepasst aber ich konnte kein Versandunternehmen auswählen.

Dann hab ich die Akkus aus der Bestellung genommen und alle Waren auf EU-Warehouse abgeändert. Siehe da es konnte ein Versand mit GLS angeboten werden.

Bestellung ausgeführt und auf einmal der Knaller:
EU Warehouse = UK
Super, dann kann ich ja direkt in China für 20% weniger bestellen oder hätte die Bestellung bewusst auf unter 150€ gesetzt um wenigstens den Zoll zu sparen.

Dann ist man nicht in der Lage mir klar eine Tracking ID zu geben, die die das System mir nennt hängt seit Wochen mit dem Hinweis "Versand angemeldet, Ware nicht übergeben" fest.

Klar, den Betreibern aus dem Fernost kanns egal sein. Für die ist EU=Europa=UK ... mir nicht.

Naja war eine bittere Lektion, dass sich die Zeiten eben geändert haben.

Bestell ich mein Zeug halt eben für 20-40% mehr über Amazon oder deutsche Onlineshops. Spart mir eine Menge stress.

Ware am 3.8. bestellt, sollte am 7.8. geliefert werden, mein Sohn hatte hier Geburtstag. bis heute, 15.08. keine Lieferung und vom Support 0 Reaktion!

schnelle Lieferung, genau das Bestellte wurde geliefert. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Alles bestens.

They do not carry spare parts for the models they sell. Most are proprietary and can not be found elsewhere.

Great range of hobby goods for RC planes enthusiasts (like me), fantastic planes of good-to-great quality, usually affordable (some prices seem rather high, some of them really are, but you can count on occasional sales), some of them are exclusive offers. Good customer service. The only drawback is availability of spare parts to these exclusive planes, some of them are out-of-stock forever...

Fino ad ora tutti gli ordini andati bene. Peccato che ho ordinato uno stand turnigy Turnigy Heavy-Duty Folding Airplane Stand. Arrivato mancante di due pezzi ed inutilizzabile. Ho contatto il servizio resi per farmelo cambiare e scopro che, pur essendo stato spedito da UE, lo devo mandare ad Hong Kong arrangiandomi a scrivere a mano il tutto e spedirlo in modo che arrivi entro 30 gg pena la non accettazione. Chiaro sistema per evitare il rimborsi!!!! Mai più! Aggiornamento: ho aperto una contestazione con Pay Pal e mi hanno chiesto di chiuderlo se volevo andare avanti nella pratica. Viste le recensioni molto utili che chi ha chiuso le contestazioni poi è stato fregato l'ho convertito in reclamo. Vediamo che fanno ma se lo scordano che gli rimando il pacco a mie spese e oneri! Loro hanno sbagliato e loro devono risolvere il problema! La risposta di Hobby King è che vogliono il pacco indietro. Ma commande de deux batteries identiques (Turnigy Nano-Tech Lipo Battery Pack XT-90 4400mah 4S 65-130C) a posé problème : l'une des deux n'était pas du modèle que j'avais commandé, de plus il est manifeste qu'elle a été mise sous film à bulles, boite carton individuelle puis dans le carton d'expédition alors qu'elle était endommagée !
Ma réclamation portant sur le remboursement du montant de cette batterie a été difficile : le montant a d'abord fait l'objet d'un crédit sur mon compte HK, avant d'obtenir enfin gain de cause avec un virement Paypal sur mon compte bancaire, au prix de nombreux échanges par mail et sur le site !
Hélas, il semble que le souci avec cette commande est plus important : je constate ce 9 juin 2025 que la batterie conforme à ma commande est incapable de fournir la puissance nécessaire au vol, passé environ 3 minutes, alors qu'elle a encore 68% de capacité ! Je constate également que sa résistance interne, avant la toute première utilisation, est élevée (17 milliohms), son taux de décharge réel est donc de ~ 9 C !
J'ai un très sombre pressentiment sur la qualité de cette batterie, bien entendu sans pouvoir le prouver, mais ce qui s'est passé avec la batterie endommagée et non conforme à ma commande milite pour une grande suspicion !
