I bought a couple of things in there many years ago and it was fine, but since 2016 it's completely different, they advertise things they don't have and once you buy they just say they will give your money as store credit, never give the money back to you.
To some extent is almost a scam because you have your money hostage with them and you'll only be able to buy what they want for the price they want.
Honestly, avoid it at all cost...

I bought an RC car from HobbyKing for my son (order number #103050770), choosing a model described as “ready to run (just requires a battery pack)”. I also purchased the recommended battery through the link provided. However, when the order arrived, I discovered the battery could not be used because a special charger was required, which was never clearly mentioned or linked anywhere.

For more than five weeks, I have been trying to get help from their customer support. I explained everything multiple times and even offered to pay for the charger if they would cover the shipping — since I already paid once. Their responses were slow, confusing, and unhelpful. Finally, they closed the case, saying the description was clear (it was not).

Now I have a car and battery that my child cannot use, and no solution from HobbyKing. This is not acceptable for a company selling in Europe.
I will be submitting the case to the Hong Kong Consumer Council, since HobbyKing is registered outside the EU.

Good luck trying to find a way to charge the Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah 8S 65~130C Lipo Pack w/XT90.
As it comes out of the box, the twin balance leads make it impossible to charge unless you cut off the two 4S connectors and rewire it with an 8s balance connector. Serial balance boards and connectors seem to have gone out of production everywhere so be prepared to Complete the build of the battery yourself - which will no doubt void the warranty too.

Après 5 utilisations, soit environ 1H40, problème de traction du train arrière.
J'ai donc fait une réclamation auprès du vendeur.

(-) les différentiels, sont classés comme pièces d’usure et ne sont donc pas éligibles à un remboursement ou à un échange complet du produit
(+) le vendeur a fait une demande de remplacement SAV dont il attend la validation

Donc retour très mitigé : une pièce d'usure qui cède après 1H40 d'utilisation, chez moi c'est un défaut manifeste, pas une usure.
Je ne conseille pas d'acheter ce produit.

So far so good on PART of order number# 103054759...I received the 3 Slopoke propeller adapters. I have not received the three 12 x 6 propellers which are part of that order. Perhaps they will come soon in a different package?

Ho acquistato merce per circa 550 euro in due volte, finora non ho avuto bisogno di contestare nulla.

Hobby King Will Steal From You!

Order a RC plane that was damaged in shipping so I refused delivery. It’s been weeks now without a resolution. HK acknowledged my claim and acknowledged the product has return with damages during shipping. My claim is in proceed with settlement stage. Currently customer service is ignoring my emails and won’t acknowledge a refund or return. I keep getting excuses like my case has moved to a different team or they will look into to.

Bought a plane which failed on first (soft grass) landing tried to get a refund no joy was offered parts free but these have never arrived - £200 totally wasted and no recourse through any means - Paypal protection also totally useless
Initially acknowledged parts ordered but now my claim has been cancelled

I ordered a plane and tried to cancel, but the cancellation wasn’t accepted. I returned it immediately, yet it took six weeks and several reminders to get my refund — and I still haven’t received the shipping costs back.

Very poor customer service. I won’t order from Hobby King again unless there’s absolutely no other option.

Ho comprato da loro un aereo blixer e tutto l'occorrente per volare radio batterie caricabatterie.
Durante il primo volo l'aereo è andato in fuori radio e da solo ha dato comando a picchiare e ho distrutto tutto l'aereo.
La radio era una turnigy veramente roba di poco valore ho buttato via 180 euro....
La garanzia chi la fa?
Ovviamente nessuno.....

Hobbyking est injoignable: essayez le chat, il est inaccessible, envoyez un mail, vous n'aurez pas de réponse, chercher un N° de tel, il n'y en a pas.

Metto una stella perché meno non si può sono anni che compro da loro e ben quattro volte ho ricevuto pezzi rotti e bruciati infine ultimo acquisto che è in super ritardo contatto più volte l’assistenza e mi scrivono che hanno problemi che non sanno cosa fare offrono solo sconti e coupon ma alla fine i problemi rimangono inoltre e due giorni che cerco di avere un contatto con qualche responsabile che non si degna di scrivermi sebbene mi era stato promesso che sarei stato ricontattato intanto sono ben 10 giorni che loro hanno preso i miei soldi dalla carta e ho non ho ancora in mano nulla quando scrivono spedizioni in 4/7 giorni lavorativi.
Che dire pessima azienda pessima assistenza e anche se i prodotti sono buoni la merce arriva sempre rotta o in ritardo !!!!!!

A finales de Marzo de 2025 compre un avión pnf ready to fly voltigeur lo recibí a los 10 días de comprarlo hasta ahí todo bien.
Me pillo que tuve que marcharme fuera por motivos laborales y hasta hace un mes que volví a mi domicilio no pude empezar con el montaje de mi nuevo avión, cual fue mi sorpresa que cuando abrí la caja para montarlo las dos semialas venían de la misma mano lado izquierdo y que faltaba dentro de la caja la varilla de carbono para poder montar el estabilizador horizontal un desastre.
Entiendo que han pasado 6 meses después de la compra pero ellos dan 1 año de garantía en su tienda online, pues bien ya han pasado mas de tres semanas y no me dan ningún tipo de solución es mas no tan siquiera se dignan a contestarme, soy miembro platinum de su tienda y llevo comprando en esta tienda desde hace mas de 20 años de cuando se llamaban United Hobbies pero dudo mucho que siga confiando en ellos porque me han tratado muy mal y no me dan ningún tipo de soslución, si compras en esta tienda si te sale bien no tendrás problema alguno pero como te salga mal estarás totalmente desamparado NO RECOMIENDO QUE SE COMPRE EN ESTA TIENDA YA QUE SU SERVICIO POTS VENTA DEJA MUCHO QUE DESEAR.
