HG Walter Recenzje 

Ordered for the first time, and specified delivery for Friday.
It's now Saturday and on contacting DPD I was told the delivery is perishable and will no longer be delivered. No contact or notification, I had to ask.
Now I have no meat for a family BBQ and need to go out as a panic to get some. Will not be ordering again, and I suggest others don't if you need a reliable supplier.

The meat was very high quality but the mince I ordered was rancid. I expected better for the price.

It was delivered on time but don’t like being for to a minimum spend when still having to pay a delivery charge

This is my first order from HG Walter. I wanted a veal joint - hardly any butchers sell veal and it was hard to find anyone selling a boned joint of loin or shoulder. Walter does. Hurrah! The w/s was easy to negotiate, ordering was simple and the delivery was on time. The meat I ordered was excellent - good quality and a good cut - and I shall definitely order from Walter again. I had just come out of hospital and was not allowed to drive, so looked around for a meat supplier from whom to order. I am fine now, but I shall definitely order from Walter again. I may even try other products of their own making.

Very easy to order, delivered on the day requested, and all very good quality.
Will definitely be ordering again in future.
Only two minor issues… one only half the chicken in my order was delivered, but H G Walter immediately refunded the difference, without quibbling - so again that was great.
What really let it down was outside H G Walter’s control… and that was delivery instructions were not followed by DPD, who sadly just dumped the box on our doorstep, rather than inside the porch, which was clearly printed on the delivery instructions on the box.

Brought on the back of seeing they supply Fallow Resturant in London..all looks good..Not tried anything but the Sausages "Cumberland" so far.! However must say Medioca..They seem to be par porched which alot of eateries prefur due to cook easier and store longer..not 100% Fresh and juicy like I get from my local Farm shop which also do this proccess and supply eateries..nice but nothing special and ruins the juciyness and alters the flavour slighty..so probably wont buy again..will update when I have tried the rest of the produce..DPD Delivered which wasn't great, left fresh frozen food on the step and ran off, when we have a clear proccess to follow due to Disabilities and DPD Should have known..I had to come home from work as my wife couldn't get the parcel into the House..thanks DPD..nice touch..😡🤬

I first visited HG Walter in 2008 when visiting my nephew who lived nearby. At the the time, even in a food town like San Francisco there were precious few proper butchers. I was very impressed. After I moved to London in 2015 I came to understand that even among the many "meat churches" of the city, HGW stood out as a "cathedral" of sorts, partly because of the wonderful 'stained glass window' filled with dry aging cuts at the end of the shop, and partly due to the amazing variety, excellent prices, and ready accommodation to requests that must be at least a little due to their large business for restaurants etc. I continue to come here for my needs, though we live in Acton and I pass several very credible shops along the way. I won't say I never shop elsewhere, but when I have particular needs or special guests, why would I go anywhere else? Thanks again!

I opted for mail order. Great service but minimum order value and shipping makes it an expensive option. Sirloin was good but very inconsistent in terms of quality. One was top notch the other less so. Pork sausages good but only equal to M&S Posh Dogs. Would order again though.

Very good quality meat at fair prices. Responsive customer service when there are occasional issues. No issues with delivery and they actually read and follow the instructions given in the notes

As always, HG Walter deliver on flavour. The currywurst were loved by everyone this weekend, as were the lamb koftas — and I just wish I’d bought more babyback ribs because they were gone in about 30 seconds. I never ever buy meat anywhere else.

Their meat is of such high standard and is delivered well wrapped. I especially love their Chicken Apricot sausages - losing weight and don't normally like chicken in anything but these are lovely, highly recommended.

10/10 experience every time. I've been using HG Walter for years, and they have never let me down. The quality of their meat is consistently outstanding, whether it's quail, steaks, Iberico Secreto or anything else I've ordered. You can really tell they take pride in sourcing and preparing exceptional produce.

Great value, great auality

Have used a few on line butchers including some very expensive ones! HGW have the best range of meat by far including a good selection of offal and less common cuts and meats It is always of the best quality and if a particular piece of meat isn’t superb it’s almost certainly my cooking If you like your meat and like it to be best quality then HGW is spot one Oh the chap who delivers is always so cheerful
