Terrible, shady company who take advantage of trusting consumers.

They advertise a 100 day money back guarantee with ridiculous conditions which are actually hidden from their website and can only be found by specifically googling these conditions.

Looking at their online reviews, one can deduce that many of their reviews are purchased (the positive ones) and you will have to dig deeper to see the truthful reviews from cheated customers.

They do not honor their 90 day money back guarantee....emailed back and forth with them for a week and then they stopped responding.

I was NEVER offered a return ....first they asked why I wanted to return, then it took them 2 days to respond...then they asked if the product was sealed....took them 2 more days to respond...then they asked for pictures of the seal...then I heard nothing.... if there is a 90 day money back guarantee then why do you need pictures of the seal???
Also, I am not paying return postage...that is not a money back guarantee if I am stuck paying.

Received my Hey Silky Skin laser hair…

Received my Hey Silky Skin laser hair remover. It worked for a whole ten flashes and then just up and quit. The company refuses to respond to my request to their customer service department for details on how to return for a refund. They also removed my negative comments from their FB posts and have now blocked me from making any comments! Don’t waste your money on these shysters.
Update: this vendor contacted me via email, which had gone to my junk mail box. They insisted that I send them video proof that the unit didn’t work. I did so, but I don’t think a reputable company would demand that. They then proceeded to tell me they would replace the unit only if I changed my review on this site. Don’t remember that condition being part of their guarantee. So we will see if they keep their word. They have continued to block me from commenting on their FB posts and have removed my negative reviews from their ads. Interestingly enough however, they continue to send me junk emails for discounts on further purchases. As if.

This item and company is a SCAM. They have a ton of fake good reviews online. If you look closely at the good ones they all are very similar and end up repeating the same things like middle schoolers sharing homework.
Now into my review. I bought the item followed all the 90 day money back guarantee RULES....yes there are rules. Rules they will not tell you about. Rules that are hidden on the site you won't find out about till you want to return the product then you will told you didn't follow them so too bad so sad for you. But I found and followed them. I tried out the device it's crap. It's just a hot flashing light. It did absolutely nothing at all to stop or slow hair growth. The only thing thing that was stopping or slowing hair growth was the fact I was shaving more than once a month to use it. I contacted customer service to return it. They are refusing to acknowledge that I said they word RETURN. I will have 100000000 email of BS b4 this is ever over.

They do not honor their return and refund policy! They will stall and give you a bunch of B.S when you email them! They state after like 80 days if not satisfied you can email them to initiate a return but then just keep emailing you excuses! I am reporting them to the BBB and I will go out of my way to post on any advertising sites or social media sites to warn people to not buy it because you will not get your money back if you decide you don’t like it or it doesn’t work for you.

Burnt my skin customer service ridiculous

I bought this device a while ago. I read all directions watched all videos and followed them religiously. I have very pale skin and black hair. The device is on the very lowest setting and BURNS my skin with every single flash. I explained this in an email stating I want to return the product due to being unable to use to it. I have received several replies back telling me how to use it, to use vitamin c ointment, to consult and doc etc. No I am with in the 90 day return period I physically cannot use the product. What I am saying in my replies to customer service is being completely ignored and they are just replying with complete nonsense. I am guessing they will try to keep this ridiculous back and forth till it's past the 90 days then say oh oops well you are past the 90 day money back guarantee we can accept a return sorry. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY VALUES THEIR CUSTOMERS.

DOES NOT WORK ON GRAY HAIR

This company gave false information on its FB ad and in its instructions. It says it will work on gray hair, but it DOES NOT. Other companies selling units just like this but with different names (and higher prices) specifically state that it will not work on blonde or gray hair. I’ve wasted months with no results. Beware if you’re attempting to rid yourself of gray stubbles.

Colours such as blonde and greying hair is simply hair with less melanin. Whilst some additional treatments may be required, than that for deeper hair tones such as brown, successful results can certainly still be achieved.

Please note, greying hair is not to be confused with white hair, which has no melanin at all and would subsequently be considered outside of the IPL treatment range.

Broke a few months after buying...

I've had this product for around 6 months. I've used it as the directions instructed. I haven't noticed any difference in hair growth and then it broke. The pink light stays on indicating it isn't against your skin; even when it is. So it turns on, but doesn't flash anymore. A waste of my money.

This is a scam. After cancelling my order as I had a cat come down with chronic kidney disease, they refused to cancel my order and insisted that it would take time. They then told me to cancel through PayPal and that I had to do it (PayPal told me that they could've done it instantly, but because I did it, it takes time) so during the time that cancellation was processing they shipped it anyways and then claimed that because they shipped it that it was too late.

I’ve seen a lot of these reviews complaining about their lack of customer service or that they are a scam. I can honestly verify that I ordered the laser hair removal product and received exactly what was shown! I have been using it for the last several month (albeit somewhat sporadically), but even in just a handful of sessions/weeks I can see areas where hair is growing and most importantly where hair is not growing! I just want to share my good experience and hope it will continue to work for myself and for anyone else looking to try this product out! (Especially with summer right around the corner!!!)

I received unsatisfactory customer service with this purchase for the "Heysilkyskin" device. When it arrived I found the cord was designed for the UK. It had an European plug in. Absolutely useless in Canada. Their reply was they were sorry and they would send me a 20% off my next purchase. This is only putting more money in their pocket. Now I am forced to spend more money for an adapter for it to even work. Very disappointed. Would it not have been more fair to send me the proper plug-in cord?

If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. I ordered from this scam company in July 2020. It took a month and a half to get delivered. It did not help remove hair, but shaving and use of the handset instead of waxing grew more hair that was coarser and darker. Despite emailing the day the handset was received and following other directives for the "guarantee", I was told I wouldn't get a refund because I emailed after "delivery". I wrote back that there must have been a mistake in address or input in their system incorrectly as our mailbox is checked daily. Allie indicated I would be refunded the amount of the item minus the initial postage fee (which wasn't noted in the money back guarantee steps or the invoice) as well as the return postage in its original packaging box and large bubble envelope with tracked delivery being paid from my pocket. After noticing the cost would be as or more expensive than the actual item ($150-$200 cdn) and reading reviews regarding this company not being trustworthy, I gave up to send back from Canada to Australia. Wish I could turn back time here...

Horrible Company That Can't Stop Lying

This site is a scam and is doing a great job of hiding it. The light they send you is of poor/cheap quality, and as soon as you figure that out, it's considered opened, and they refuse to honor the 90-day money-back guarantee they promise. The instructions they include are pointless because they are nonsensical gibberish. They advertise a return policy, but when you request a refund, they won't return emails. When I finally contacted them via Facebook, they asked me to send them a video of it not working. Right after I did, they informed me it's now considered used because it's out of the package, then went back to ignoring me. They delete all negative reviews on the website and deleted all my negative feedback on Facebook, then blocked me from commenting on the business page.

To their reply: I did not exceed the 90 day window, the date of this review was far off from my order date but I hated my experience so much I did this review later.

Shortly after it was established that you were able to turn the Handset on, and move forward to confirm it was in working, acceptable condition.

Please note, as our Handset is such that can be used all over the body, inclusive of private areas, we can only accept standard returns back to our facility in original condition and packaging. This is of course, due to sanitary reasons and quality control.
