I recently decided to purchase a Nikon Z50 DX16-50 kit and chose this company as they had some in stock. A helpful lady confirmed stock position and the item, together with a couple of accessories, was dispatched securely by DPD the same day. Packaging was secure when it arrived . Pleased with my purchase and cannot fault the service.

Tremendous went above and beyond I needed a telephoto lens for a trip after my order got cancelled by another supplier they dispatched same day Friday for a Saturday delivery answered my questions quickly lens was well packed and in mint condition.

I have used Harrison cameras previously and found the service to be very good but on this occasion found the staff to be Rude and unhelpful - I wanted to buy a Sony lens on Offer which was if you exchange an old working lens you get £100 off your new lens. The previous lens Purchased was the same offer - having just started i did not have any old lens to exchange so i phoned to ask if i could buy an old cheap lens and exchange it back to get the offer, iwas told this was ok to do - i was happy and purchased the Lens. Six months later the same offer came back on so i went back expecting the same service but no it was completely the opposite.
The Lady assistant made me wait 5 mins after i had waited in line, no explanation, no sorry to keep you waiting. After a brief explanation of my previous visit i was told i could not get the new offer - so i asked the assistant if she could get my purchase history up on screen to help explain that it had been done before - she then said she needed to speak to the manager who looked at the history and my explanation of the process on the previous lens purchase, the assistant started repeatedly stating it was several years ago when i explained no it was only six months previous her reply was "well it was 2022" yes i said six months ago clearly she did not want to sell me this lens on offer......it was only when i said i will buy the cheapest lens from you and exchange it back in separate transactions the penny dropped and i was allowed the offer...unfortunately this was not the end of the bad service i also wanted a filter to protect my shiny new lens only to be told i did not need a filter for this lens! wow a Sony 200 - 600 G lens not cheap at £1600, i wanted a protective filter so persevered only then to be told she had non in stock and can i come back Monday. Fortunately having been made to wait for so long I had seen several filters on the shelf so proceeded to pick these up and to the assistants "surprise" informed her she had several in the shop.
I spent nearly £2000 in the shop and felt totally disappointed, I live in Doncaster so not really local, not close enough where coming back into Sheffield on a Monday afternoon to purchase a Filter would have been easy......it felt as though the assistant did not want to be there and then felt aggrieved at having to go ahead and give me the offer she compounded this by then stating i did not need a filter and then trying to say they have non in stock = it was so bad i did not bother asking for the special offer on software part of the same offer on the lens by this time i simply had more than enough of the bad service if it wasn't for the fact i had already travelled some distance i would not have bought anything.

In response to Harrison cameras reply - I am surprised and disappointed that you feel the above service went "above and beyond" in any respect - also i purchased the polarizing filter out of choice from the various examples i picked from the shelf including several protective lens, the reply is indicative of not accepting the shortfall of the service given a poor response please accept your faults with grace

Excellent service, great equipment and fair prices. I bought a Lowepro case a few days ago and Canon lens a couple of month ago, both arrived quickly and securely.

Ordered a used camera over a week ago - 11.02.23, opted for the 2-4 day delivery and I’m still waiting. That well established and reliable courier EVRI have lost the camera and in all likelihood I will never see my order. Wanted to contact Harrison Cameras but can only do so via a premium rate telephone number, no doubt to the benefit of the shop and not in the interests of the customer. The invisible ‘live chat’ doesn’t actually exist on their website or is very well hidden. In short, a very frustrating and disappointing transaction with Harrison Cameras. Will not be shopping at HC again.
Update 21.02.23: Not delivered. EVRI update (translation): Parcel still lost, will deliver whenever.

Found them while doing a Google search for a Sony A5100 and glad I did.
Found just what I was looking for at a great price.
Ordering online was easy and pain free and the camera was delivered within 24 hours of ordering.

Items described as 'in stock' are indeed in stock. This may sound like a given but other paper and film retailers are not managing it. Quick dispatch also. Very helpful, real people are available at the end of the phone which was quickly answered.

Helpful, quick response to my e-mail request. Very prompt delivery for a hard-to-find B+W filter. Well packed! I would definitely purchase from HC again, based on this experience.

Following initial complaint about late delivery, it's clear from the Evri tracking information that despite ordering and paying on Wednesday the 25th, my parcel didn't get into the Evri system until the afternoon of Monday the 30th. Very poor service. Just found will be delivered today (Tuesday) 6 days after ordering and outside 2-4 working days promised. (Sunday is the only non-working day for deliveries)

Terrible customer service and products. Bought a camera that was shipped to us broken and ruined a reel of film we had brought. Customer service refused any sort of refund and told us to return the camera before they would do anything, but told us we had to pay for shipping. Also refused to send another reel of film as compensation for the one their camera ruined
