The service team set up a service call quickly and checked our warranty for us. All the calls were friendly and helpful. The engineer who visited us was thorough and careful. He called to introduce himself before arriving and during his visit explained what was required clearly. He cleared up after his work and left everything as we wanted.

Fab delivery men. Polite and on time. Easy to follow tracking detail live.

Great service and amazing value!

I had an oven from them which arrived broken. They wouldn’t help me with an Exchange told me to go via the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer who didn’t believe it was new due to it being such an old model. I was left with no cooking facilities for 3 weeks whilst they had to validate it was a new purchase and order the parts. Tillman’s have a legal responsibility to repair or replace but they refused

Today I had a washing machine delivered- purchased form a charity. They delivered it I signed for it and they left. My dad is on his way to install it for me . Before he got here Gillmans were back forcibly entered my property and took it away. They scared my husband as they pushed past him, he is disabled and has learning disabilities so didn’t understand what was going on. They told him they had to take it and he had to let them in and because he doesn’t understand and was panicked he didn’t know what to do

I have just rang to complain about the driver letting himself into my property and her excuse was he probably thought you was out . Thats even worse imagine going out and coming home to find your washing machine gone. How distressing that would be to think it’s been stolen!

Their reply is full of lies and inconsistencies. The driver did not go back to his van he actually drove off . It wasn’t left in my back garden it was delivered to my back door and we was home so it wasn’t left unattended in the back garden like you imply. Your back garden is indeed private property and legally you do not permission to enter it .

Great price quick delivery

You took into consideration the notes we gave,delivering to my elderly mum who is housebound and has dementia.
We are all very pleased with the service and consideration.

The delivery tracker system looked really good. Tracked our delivery for an hour or so, when we were informed that the driver would be at our address in 10 minutes. I couls see on the tracker that the vehicle was only a few miles away. Ths tracker then showed the delivery time rising and the vehucle heading back to Gilman's Gloucester. I rang the driver who advised thag they didn't have our item on the van! How did the tracker not know this and gave me incirrect information for 2 hours. We had specifically waited in all morning! When the deluvery team arrived everything was as specified - only spoilt by the above issue.

First time we have used this company but first class service including the delivery guys. Very competitive price

Bought an item from Gillmans then had a strange phone call. Phoned the shop and just got a feeling I wasn’t being listened to.
Following a review on Trustpilot, Robert phoned me the next day and listened to my concerns and the fact I had been awake most of the night worrying about it. He promised to personally look into it and phone me back the same day. He then took time,out of his busy day to follow up himself and got back to me with a personal explanation of what had happened.
Very impressed with personal touch the way my problem was handled quickly by Robert.
Many thanks appreciate the time you took to solve the problem and put my mind at rest. Hopefully will sleep well tonight now the problem has been sorted.

We have bought from Gilmans over many years, and were generally happy with our latest purchases, as we have with previous purchases. We ordered on line, the items being competitively priced, and delivery was early on the day I had chosen.
My only 'niggle' was that there was no prior communication to confirm an expected delivery time period before the guys were 15 minutes from arriving, and they phoned. Bizarrely we did receive confirmation delivery date emails the day after delivery. So something amiss which hopefully was a one off.

Just had a Gillmans engineer out for our duel fuel cooker which had a problem, He identified the problem instantly and consequently sorted it, Excellent,thank you Phil H.

Hob ordered online quite straight forward, unfortunately they would not deliver to my area. Upon collecting hob from the store, Stuart the (store manager) who served us could not explain why our new hob was not in its original packaging? His attitude throughout our encounter with him was bordering on rudeness and arrogance in his answering to our concerns as to why this supposed brand new product was being repackaged in front of us. Adrian the online manager got involved and kindly made a small monetary discount for the debacle the Stuart had conducted . Great pity Gillmans as we will not buy from you again.

Fantastic experience, 3 appliances bought from a really helpful guy on Thursday and installed by 2 lovely guys on Monday, the tracking for delivery is spot on!! Well done , will definitely be back again .
