I seriously cant say enough good things about Gem Jewelers Co and especially Joe. I went in to their miami location looking for a tennis necklace for my wife and had no idea what I was really looking for but Joe made the whole process so easy. He never once tried to pressure me into spending more money and actually took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. You can tell hes been doing this for a long time because his knowledge is unreal. He helped me pick out the most gorgeous tennis necklace and when my wife opened it she was completely speechless. The sparkle and quality are honestly incredible and it looks even better now that shes wearing it. The best part is my uncle used to be a jeweler for years so I brought it over to show him and he kept saying how beautiful it was and how well made it is. He looked it over really closely and couldnt believe what I paid for it because the same quality at the local jewelry stores would have cost me way more. He actually told me I got an amazing deal and thats coming from someone who worked in the jewelry business for years so that meant a lot. Im really glad I didnt buy from one of the other places I looked at first because I would have spent a lot more for something that honestly wasnt as nice. The whole experience from start to finish was awesome and its rare these days to find someone as honest and helpful as Joe. Ill definitely be coming back for future gifts and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Gem Jewelers Co to anyone looking for beautiful jewelry at a great price thanks again Joe you made this purchase so much easier than I expected  

I made a very expensive online purchase here based on the Trustpilot reviews so it's important to relay my recent experience. 5 weeks ago I ordered an adjustable tennis necklace and was assured it would NOT flip despite its adjustable nature. It arrived and immediately flipped no matter which direction I put it on. I called in a panic and was told there was no one who could speak with me about the issue, that I needed to SCHEDULE a phone call. I emailed videos of the defective item while waiting. 4 days later/1 hour before the first available scheduled call, they asked me to cancel the call and send the necklace back so they could see it in person. They also said they would need to make it a fixed length as the clasp on the adjustable portion of the necklace was likely causing it to flip. I shipped it back that day, June 23, and I was told on June 24th that they would provide me with an update when it arrived. It arrived June 26th- no update. On July 1st I emailed and got a response that they would provide an update on July 2. No update. On July 7th I again emailed asking for an update and they blamed the holiday weekend and promised an update by end of day. No update. I emailed yet again today July 13th and have not received a response. So I paid for an expensive necklace 5 weeks ago that was not as advertised, that I no longer possess, and the customer service to address this has been non-existent. They are also advertising free diamond studs with all orders $1500+ and when I asked about that in one email I was ignored.

I just got the 4 prong tennis necklace from here, I absolutely love it. Tks to Joe and Jessica for your help, wishing your business have more and more customers in the future.

Honestly the best thing I can say about this whole experience is the customer service and quality. I went in not really knowing what I was doing, I just knew I wanted to surprise my wife with a tennis necklace and I was a little nervous about getting it right (and keeping it a secret!). Melissa and Jessica completely took the pressure off.

They were patient with all my questions, walked me through the options without ever making me feel rushed or pushed toward the most expensive thing, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me find the right piece rather than just making a sale. The two of them basically helped me pick out the perfect necklace, and they were great about keeping the whole thing a surprise on my end too.

When the necklace finally arrived it was even more gorgeous in person than I expected. The diamonds catch the light constantly even under regular indoor lighting it has this nonstop sparkle and shine that photos honestly don't do justice. My wife absolutely loved it, her reaction was exactly what I was hoping for. The craftsmanship really stood out, you can tell it's well made the second you hold it. It has weight to it without feeling bulky, and it stays put on her neck, it doesn't flip around at all. It just feels and looks like a quality piece.

I read tons of reviews about Gem Jewelers and can say and attest these guys are the Pros!

I'll be honest, the reason I waited a while to leave this review is that I wanted to take it to our own jeweler first, just to be sure everything was as good as it seemed. I'm glad I did, because he looked it over and told us everything checked out beautifully, and that we actually got a great deal on it ( He was mad we didn't purchase from him lol). That gave me total peace of mind and made me even happier.

Thank you to Melissa and Jessica for making it so easy and stress free. We'll definitely be back, and I won't hesitate to recommend you to friends and family.

I would not recommend purchasing from Gem Jewelers Co.

I purchased a Riviera diamond necklace. The clasp broke the first time I tried it on. I immediately contacted the company and requested an RMA to return the necklace for a refund, but my request was denied. The company offered to repair the necklace, which I declined given that a brand-new item had already failed before any actual use.
I also observed discoloration on portions of the necklace represented as 14k gold.
In response to a complaint I filed with the Pennsylvania Attorney General, the company stated that the transaction was an exchange and therefore not eligible for a refund. However, at the time of the exchange, I was not informed that I would be forfeiting my right to return the item for a refund. The only reference to this limitation appeared in an electronic replacement invoice I was asked to sign, and it was not presented in a way that clearly highlighted such a significant change in return rights.

I disputed the charges with my credit card issuer. The chargebacks were declined by the merchant’s bank on the basis that the merchandise was reported as not returned or still in my possession, and the charges were ultimately upheld. I was informed by my bank that it cannot compel a merchant to issue a refund once the merchant’s bank rejects a dispute.

Based on my experience, I was disappointed by both the product quality and the company’s handling of the matter. The return and exchange terms were not clearly disclosed in a way that allowed for informed consent at the time of purchase and were applied in a way that was not transparent in practice. I hope this review helps other buyers understand the company’s practices and the limitations of credit card dispute protections when a merchant contests a charge.

I am really happy with my purchase of a tennis necklace from Gem Jewelers Co. I appreciate Jessica’s assistance and care to make sure I received my necklace before traveling out of town, so I could wear it and enjoy it!

I worked with Melissa to get an original order enlarged while keeping the existing gem sizes the same. She was super helpful in getting the requirements, return, additional cost, additions and shipment to us at the right time. We had left town and she made sure it would arrive when we had returned home. She is a priceless asset to the Gem Jewelers staff!

I hate to say it, but I really put Melissa through the wringer with my delivery time crunch. She remained patient, informative, and friendly throughout the entire process. I did quite a bit of research looking for a good quality piece at a reasonable price.
Jewelry prices have gone through the roof lately.
