I have shifted my investments in last year Feb 2020. After that I see it it not progressing. The manager from your side is also not suggesting to swithch to another. It will be helpful if someone from youe side can suggest good companies to switchover. The dcision will be from my side
I invested 39000 Euro with Friends Provident in 2009, they promised a return of at least 5% a year. Now in 2021 my investment has no value any more.
Just burn your money rather than giving it to these thieves. No oversight as in Isle of Man, they use Deveere to lie about their fees, funds, closing rules and then say they are not responsible fr third parties. Run a mile, scum of the earth.

Like so many other antiquated monthly premium policy providers returns are poor to average. Communication terrible and policy closure at maturity a shocking experience. Constantly changing requirements with poor customer service and no advice provided.

Very bad experience, no customer support, rather no support except those generic emails sent as bulk to all customers. These generic emails sent by FP international looks more like spammers emails and no different than that!!!!! Absolutely no value for such emails but waste of time. I have been struggling to reach customer relationship manager which I was made to understand at the time of signing up the policy, that there would be one, but then such a agent vanished and no one else assigned to discuss the performance of policy.
Scammers make out that you can take money out when you need it. I was told I could take money out after 2 years but I lost a lot. I recommended this to my friend who made it clear she would need the money in a few years to purchase a house. Not once was she told it would not be possible. She ended up losing 13,000usd.
They are not worth a star! I think they are scummers and make it hard for one to get their money. Not customer friendly at all and have since closed their office in my country! Deal with them with caution, lots of it!
Withdrawal is really painful. The document requirements and process keeps changing every year. This year after sending all the required documents the UK customer care asked me to call them to verify my identity! I mean it’s good to have a personal call verification but seriously asking a customer in Singapore to call a UK number? That too it’s not a toll free number. Common guys is this customer service?!?!
One issue was dealt with by at least 5 individuals with email responses and phone calls (from me) that did not solve the issue. Instead of one person taking responsibility and following through, my issue was palmed off to the next administrative person in the queue who often sent the same standard email without resolving the matter. I had to have a third person intervene in order to help me, and I never received any direct notification or contact after that to explain what was happening.

I set up several meetings with a advisor. We disclosed (via phone call) all our financial information, looking for a plan that would suit our family; yet, never heard back from anyone.
I’ve had 2 account managers since making a 1 time fund deposit 3.5 years ago. Performance wise it is flat - very disappointing. Advice is hit and miss and I would withdraw my funds if didn’t have to take such a haircut.
The salesman of FPI tempted me to purchase a long-term investment product with monthly installments in 1997. However, once I started the plan. The salesman disappeared. I am stuck and helpless as I can not come out as they have designed the programs to make customers lose a lot if we withdraw. The service that I get now is I only gain access to its website and look at online monthly statements or switch funds by myself. The management fee is very high. The program charges me not only monthly but also quarterly.
I sent a secure message and got 1 reply asking for more information, then I sent another and never got a reply after that to clarify the issues
Poor customer service, threatening reminders, ancestral way to get information and overall a waste of time and money.

Well Guys, i am glad that this is not one of my companies being reviewed. You obviously have a serious problem. I believe it is your sales model that is the fundamental issue, a bit like the double glazing or Solar panel model. It won't work when the client is looking for a long term relationship for one of the biggest investments they will make ( Retirement Provision) for their hard earned cash.
I would have given you a 1 star but i withdrew the bulk of my funds years ago and made the remainder paid up so require minimal interaction thanks to the Internet.
I gave you an additional half a star as i deal with one company who, in my opinion, provides worse service than you (Liberty life South Africa) who use a similar marketing model as you do.

I have been with FPI for close to 30 years, and in the old days, the customer service was OK, though it was the norm to phone FPI with any queries (expensive).
I agree with the comment made earlier today that FPI still remain in the 20th century - and still rely on good old fashioned paperwork - FPI really haven't moved with the times.
Over the past 15 months of the COVID Pandemic, FPI simply shut down their phone system and clients had only one option - to interact via e-mail, with responses to queries typically taking three to four days, often from a different agent, with no background to the previous conversation. This has been truly frustrating. Even my Broker, based in France gave up trying to get a response for me in mid 2020 - and he wasn't e-mailing the call centre, but FPI Management.
That said, in my experience, the people at FPI who do reply to emails are very helpful, to the best of their ability, but they are also dealing with the same archaic systems. That points to legacy systems in place, and the mindset of the Company.
Most companies on the planet adjusted quite quickly to a new normal, with calls being switched to the call centre staff in their home environment. Not FPI, who simply elected to take the phone away as a client touchpoint.
I am hoping, post mass vaccinations in the UK and IoM that FPI have now brought their phones back. This is soon to be tested as I have an issue that needs to be sorted out, but I find it interesting that I am still putting this off as my expectations of the effort required is so negative...).
I am also hoping that FPI have taken time over the past 15 months to reflect, and to bring their client interaction platforms into the 21st Century with all that is on offer - dare I mention WhatsApp as a communication medium.
However I get the sense that FPI is run by "investment specialists" and accountants, with little understanding of what todays ICT can offer, so I am not even thinking of holding my breath in anticipation of what I will, once again need to go through (again) in the next few days ...
In summary, I honestly think FPI have a lot to offer, but as a global company, also need to undertake a lot of self-reflection on how they talk to us, as clients, customers, and also, investors.
Got this policy 12 yrs ago. Been under the water most of the years. Investment wise a monkey can do better then them. As I am locked in to the plan for 25 yrs total I hope I can get out sooner. I don't care about service just make some money but sadly either work out to my favor.
I have not received any service. I only received monthly statements and when I call to ask about my account, I was told to call the bank that sold me the product. The bank has no service too. If you ask for feedback, please do something to improve your service. I think you have received enough negative feedback.
