visited Monday 21 Aug 23 . What a joke . Firstly stop the toilets. Filthy. Disgusting. First ride took 2 hours in queue. Due to que jumpers . 2nd ride took1.5 hrs only to be closed once we got near the front. Anyway got sick of rides and thought hey ho let's go see the animals instead..LMAO what animals. we found 1 giraffe. 1 Tiger and a Rhino. All look depressed and weak. The whole park was dilapidated. Anyway. OK. let's go get some food then. No luck there either. First stop Chicken grill. Sorry. No burgers left . OK just give me some small fries then.As the kids needed something before they collapse. £4.50 for small.fries !!! ahh OK. let's go somewhere else. Next stop the fish and chip shop. Upstairs in the Hub..oh I'm sorry we are closed for an hour ..... seèeesh. you got to be kidding me ??

Just come across this review regarding willow grove and have to 100% disagree, I’ve stayed in this van many times and the owners are lovely, it also states in their terms and conditions about cancellation that we have to sign before we can book a holiday. No travel company would give you a refund days before you were due to arrive!! Maybe get yourself travel insurance like we do? Lovely caravan on a great location we’ve already booked back up for 2024!

Just read reviews about 131 willow Grove. Couldn't be more from the truth. We hire from them every year and wouldn't go anywhere else. Imagine if the lass had to refund everyone who had a bereavement or suddenly couldn't make there holiday with 4 days notice! It's states in the terms no refunds so close to the holiday date.
They are brilliant with us, the caravan is immaculate, the communication is brilliant. I asked if i could bring a coffee machine and she went out and bought us one with free pods for our whole holiday! Every day she text to make sure everything was OK and has kept in contact even when we aren't on holiday in her caravan. The people leaving bad reviews were giving a later date for the holiday and have still failed to turn up today, don't let them reviews put you off. Both owners are absolutely brilliant 5 stars from us every time... id leave 10 stars if i could... :)

Not worth the money waiting in ques for over 1 hour and vips jump ques and let on rides soon as while others wait in huge ques turns out your paying a fortune to go on 3 rides if you’re lucky!

This is the second time that we've taken the grandchildren to Flamingo land. They have something here for all ages. Our grandchildren are 3, 7, 9 and 12 and they always have the best time. Thanks Flamingo land, great fun again at a very good and affordable price.

purchased a wks holiday in a private caravan for £895 had a bereavement in the family 4 days before the holiday told the caravan owner would it be possible to cancel the holiday they said i would loose all the money i paid i spoke to flamingoland site manager and told him the situation what happened and all he said was it did not involve us as it’s a private hire caravan this is unacceptable as it on there site the private owners should not be able to hire caravans out and scam people when unforeseen circumstances arise flamingoland should be held responsible for this as it’s there resort i’ve had no held from then i’ll enclose the person involved who has scammed us the owner of 131 willow grove so don’t hire the caravan from these owners

Really Disappointing
Sooooo many rides just not working, and if /when they did open up, there was no telling how long before they broke down / closed again. Those rides that were open had huge queues - we’re talking an hour for little family rides, two hours for thrill rides; as a result each ride we did manage to get on works out to have cost a fortune! Just not worth the money! I could go on … the place looks shabby and run-down, the food outlets didn’t stock what they advertised they had …One plus side is that the Chinese takeaway on-site was excellent - efficient, good quality and value for money.

Terrible half the rides where broken food was terribly overpriced what was open definitely won’t be returning.

We had a great time lifestyle lodge great hottie amazing but why was pitchers not open and we where really looking forward to bingo please bring it back

Waited ar least 45mins just to park. Waited an hour for any of the popular rides even one kiddie ride. Which takes the thrill out of the ride when you do get on. Ran out of coffee, ice cream etc had to find other stalls. To say it cost £260 for 5 adults and two kids, two of these being pensions is a ridiculous amount of money just to queue. Apparently you can pay even more for fast track for a few rides????? Best part was playing in water fountains at the end of the day so would take a towel if you have kids.

Take your kids to the beach and spend your money wisely. 1 hour queue to get on a ride that lasted 45 seconds. Overcrowded, no maps, run down park and all these for £150 for the 3 of us. Absoulte joke

Hi well what can I say went July the queues for rides was pathetic two/three hour wait ridiculous I'm going to Spain next year and IV been hear many a year but no more then the woodlands 8 caravan what a disease riddled van we spent our first few hours cleaning this van luckily we always take our own bedding so wee just get on with it but that was a mistake as we never got our deposit back this person puts photos off a nice new van for u to see but in reality its a state never been cleaned properly since the day it was new then blames you not only blames u she lies lies lies and I mean lies what she blamed us on was pathetic you would need to have stayed there since it was new to have done what she was saying wee done just another woodlands scroungr keeping your deposit but that's ok as she needs it more than us she says she stays on site but never introduced herself onced now we no why I don't want to list the thins wrong with that van like the blood on the quilts/mattresses thilthy with years of abuse and you only notice when its time to strip them when your going home my grandson pulled out the water bed and was told to put it back at once as the smell well only your nostril can explain but when he did I said to my company how is that setee like that I don't no how they do it but it looked not too bad on arrival but boy was it different it looked as though it had been dragged about Britain and she had the cheek to lie to us and say we done it the toilet brush had dirt inside it witch I never told my partner about I just cleaned it there more much more but what I'll Finnish with is if your renting don't go private go through flamingos land and save yourself hassle and one last thing if she the owner sees this I bet she writes back and lies lies lies as she is a lier. and don't think flamingos land will not do anything as they don't get involved with private lets a shame as your park could bee a lot better.

We were really looking forward to flamingo lands arcades. But on arrival discovered that using the machines had changed, from using cash to cards. We prefer the old fashion way. And its better to keep track on what you spend. Using cards spoilt our daughters experience. Will definitely not use there arcades again. Also ordering food in the American diner was daft. We left. Staff were miserable.

Amazing, I found the trick to save your experience! See all these 1 star reviews? Scared of endless queues? Horrible interaction? Ima tell you the tips and tricks for = Flamingoland Resort. 1. Go on a non summer day or a day that isn't too rainy but a little shower - I use this many times to get like 24 rides out of 7 hour trip! (1 on sik, 2 on velocity, 3 on navigator, 2 on cliffhanger, 4 on kumali, 1 on mumbo jumbo, and many more won't waste your time). Quese aware usually 5 minutes but sik took 20 minutes. I go on days that has one hour/2 hours of the day shower or light rain. 2. Go on kumali, mumbo and pterodactyl first! 3. Take family or friends. 4. Take your own food (the food is good but takes a looking time. First time I went I wasted a good 2 hours (not at once) waiting for food or finding a place to eat (as I'm q muslim) there is a place Burger Shack selling halal chicken (only chicken) but I always brought my own food after that. 3. If your going with lots of family or friends SPLIT UP! I tend to go in groups of 4 and under, it's easier faster more enjoyable, easier to finish arguments on what to go on next. 4. Here I have my personal opinions on the rides
Sik- best one easy
Velocity- third best a must go
Kumali- almost best, amazing ride
Mumbo Jumbo- overatted!
Hero- a miss tbh
Voodoo- Fun if your a kid and can't go on the big rides but other than that - do waste your time
Zoom- only if you can't go on the big rides
Twistasaurus- overrated but loved the dinosaurs, cool experience
Pterodactyl- a MUST go, very very fun and amazing view and fast!
Cliffhanger- very over hyped but very nice view 👌
Navigator- best 'starter' ride for the scared folks and very fun
Laser Tag- fun but not a must
Zoo- amazing! Sometimes animals hard to see but I mean it would be a con if they shoved and abused the animals next to the glass so Karen's stop hating.
5. On the website it TELLS you if any rides are not available, please do not be stupid like 99% of these reviews who complain due to thier inability to look on the website. Flamingoland has an amazing helpful and honest website. I love it! Simple and easy. So USE IT. 6. Tickets are expensive but it's a great park and I think its worth it! Have fun just follow my steps!

Multiple rides broken down or turned off. Queued for hours for broken rides. Extremely expensive for the 3 kids rides we had. What a disappointment. Never going again.

Shambolic... our kids are in the same situaion - 2hrs to get there on the school trip and 2hrs to queue for the first ride. Shouldn't take so many bookings if kids can't enjoy the place.

Daughter visited with school today, £45 and 2hr trip each way and due to break downs and queues she had 1 ride !!!! cannot justify the cost for this .. Absolutely terrible and dissapointing for her.

Flamingoland is a park I used to visit while growing up and I miss the way it used to be. The park wasn’t particularly busy but the operations were painfully slow, only running with 1 train on most rides. I personally think Sik, Velocity, Kumali and little monsters need more than one train/cart. This meant that we didn’t get on as many rides as we would have liked. There were way too many dogs. I just don’t know why people want to take their dogs to a busy/loud theme park. As someone who really considers animal welfare, I found it really upsetting to see so many dogs stressed to absolute bits due to the busy/loud environment. There were people with dogs off leads and someone even tied their dog up to the rails of cliff hanger (at the top of the queue), so they could ride it! I think flamingoland really needs to tighten its restrictions on dogs, particularly when there will be people frightened who also come to enjoy the park.
All in all it was an ok day but the park needs to get its act together with regards to ride operations. A queue of 40 people should not take 1 hour to get through. For this reason I wouldn’t be revisiting in a hurry.

I took my nine year old. They chrage the same price both for adults and children 4+ which is £52.50 a ticket. That's ridiculous. There were a lot of rides not open and food places closed. Think the park needs updating.

Just came back from a weeks holiday there, staying in the basic caravan which was perfect for us( I do think a sweeping brush and some toilet brushes are required in the caravans though as we like to be staying in clean accommodation throughout the week not just on arrival) We reported a broken pot handle when we went out and it was replaced for us getting back. Most of the rides were on, glad to see flip flop open as this has been off when we have visited over the past few years. Family loved Sik, I experienced it once and that was enough for me. If you love the thrills then dont miss this. We all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in the Diner, kids had the waffles and the pancakes and loved it, Disappointed to see the Peter Rabbit decorative wall has not been restored. I have taken photos of my Grandchildren in front of that over the years and now for our last 2 holidays its not been there. I strongly feel this should be restored, some flowers and a Peter Rabbit image should not be too expensive to replace. Seeing them grow in this photo is a nice memory to have to look back on. We enjoyed walking around the Zoo and have some great pictures with the Lemurs interacting with the kids. I didnt get his name, but the very tall dark skinned man in Reception was very helpful to us, firstly arranging taxis for us and then when we realised the cost of getting to York station was going to cost around £100 we cancelled the taxis and was given clear directions how to get the bus to the station , he even arranged for staff to drive our luggage up to the park entrance for us so all we had to do was walk through the car park ,collect our luggage and walk 5 mins to the bus stop. £6 for 2 adults and 4 kids to get to York station. Perfect ! He even called me when we were on the bus to make sure we had got the bus ok, which I thought was a very thoughtful thing to do.
My older Grandchildren wont be coming next year to make way for their 3 year old siblings, I really hope the Peter Rabbit decorative wall will be there, so I can include them in our wee family tradition.
