Excellent!

Excellent customer service and price much cheaper than other firms. Emails and texts advising every step of the speedy delivery. I have not had the fire fitted yet but am very impressed so far and have no reservations about recommending Fires2U.

Excellent service

I was very wary using fires2u, but the low prices made my mind up. Having
said that they have been very professional. They use a professional delivery
firm and to mainland UK it is free. This makes a huge difference. The fire
wasn't in stock but I still received it within 4 days of order. I was
contacted in plenty time to arrange a delivery day and on the day I was told
what time to expect it.

Altogether a very good firm to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service

Bought online a Kenilworth HE from Flavel - at about 150 pounds less than a fireplace shop here in Sheffield. Delivered on time, all perfect. There was a part missing (pebbles) and Fires2U assisted me in getting them, direct from Flavel. Service which you may not get from a high street shop. Thanks !

Eko 4015 gas fire

We ordered an Eko 4015 gas fire and it was delivered within the 10 days as stated, beautifully packaged. Although it was securely packaged, when the gas fitter removed the protective plastic from the chrome frame, he noticed a small dent in it, minor but noticeable. I immediately informed FIRES2U and they promptly sent a replacement within 3 days.

The fire looks very smart and the heat output is excellent. Friends have remarked how nice it looks. We can recommend both the fire and FIRES2U to all who are thinking about purchasing a new gas fire.

Excellent Service & Delivery

We purchased Be Modern Hanbury from Fires2u, excellent service provided, we had no problems and the fire place was delivered within 10 days. The delivery drivers were nice guys and nothing was to much trouble. Would definitely use and recommended Fires2u to friends & family . Fireplace was stunning & great value for money.

Excellent service and value

I purchased a Flavel Emberglow for LPG, from placing my order right up to delivery I was kept informed of progress via e-mail. I shopped around a lot including our local companies but no one could compete with these guys. Delivery happened when they said it would, all round, very impressed. Thanks.

First class service

I purchased a Valor Homeflame Harmony, hole in the wall gas fire from Fires2U.com. My order was acknowledged by email and despatched within a couple of days, shipped by CITY LINK. The fire arrived, well packed with no signs of any damage to the packaging. The fire was intact and in perfect condition. Now successfully installed. I'm totally satisfied with the price I paid and the service that was offered by Fires2U. I would definately recommend this company for the service that I received. Thank you.

Returns

After ordering what should have been a flueless fire I opened the box carrying the fire to realise it needed a flu. I rang Fires2U and explained what had happened to a mechanical woman with a monotone voice, who wouldn't know the meaning of people skills or helpful. After what seemed a straight forward process it all went downhill fast. First they sent an e-mail with the do's and don'ts but most importantly they seemed more concerned about damage which I found odd. (My thoughts then told me that I was going to have trouble getting my refund.) I have sent the parcel back and in fairness to the company they signed for it even though it was sent to the wrong address with no RAN number, but they were quicker than lightening sending me an e-mail with photo's of damage to the fire apparently caused in transit. The courier I used was the same couriers as them and although the fire came through undamaged it didn't manage to go back, also strange the part that was damaged the most was the box that was unopened by us, so in my opinion the fire came out to us damaged. ( opinion, not fact.)
Don't be tempted at all to buy a fire from these people as that seems to be the way they make their money, keeping your money!
One disgruntled customer who is going to seek advice.

Excellent company

I ordered a gas inset fire to put into a old fireplace. Unfortunately the base profile was damaged. I emailed the company because I wondered if it was possible to repair to save returning the whole item. They insisted the part could be replaced free of charge. I received the replacement this morning in less than a week. I would highly recommend this company because there customer service is absolutely flawless.

Exceptionally good service and after sales support

Ordered and received fire nearly a year ago and have only just found a gas fitter to install it. He found a chipped glass panel. Informed fires2u by phone and told to submit email to sales. Provided reasonable details requested and picture of defect, They were straight on to Flavel requesting a FOC replacement which arrived within 36 hours. Could not ask for better service from both Fires2U and Flavel.

Great advice!

Had been looking for gas fire for weeks spoke to many people and was ready to order, rang fires2u was advised to speak to a gas safe engineer prior to ordering lady there sent me installation instructions. My fitter then advised fire was going to order was not suitable, so gave details to fires2u and was advised which fire was. 5 days later in my home and now installed really pleased. Great advice and service will recommend to friends.

Point blank refusal to have a conversation with a customer, very poor

I have purchased a fire surround and fire, all was fine until I cleaned the dust and dirt affer it was installed. One section on the surround was scratched right across the piece, noticeable in every reflection. On calling Fire2U, I was asked to take a picture and email in the details. I have completed today and asked for a conversation to talk through and explain the issue. I have been very concerned that Fires2U have refused to talk, instead sending me T&C's that dont apply to my sistuation, and in every email, refusing to have a conversation. Wouldn't recommed, in fact I would actively discourage others, poor quality product (it was damaged) even worse service.

Mr Broomhall received delivery of a marble fireplace suite on the 9th January 2014, which was delivered directly from the manufacturer to Mr Broomhall. Mr Broomhall organised his own installation of the fireplace and the goods and they have been in his home for over a period of 6 weeks. After installation he then noticed a scratch on the fireplace suite and contacted ourselves and we requested an image of the fireplace which we could forward to the manufacturer to request their comments for a solution. A email and image was received at 3.00pm yesterday 24th February 2014, unfortunately the image did not show any damage, and so we requested a further image and the location of the damage so we could proceed to find a solution with the manufacture. As an online retailer we always request written confirmation so we have an trail of all correspondence this assists both parties as a clear record of what has been discussed and is also readily available if needed in the future. We received two further emails from Mr Broomhall yesterday in which the last email stated his intention to discuss this matter on websites and forums, it would therefore seem Mr Broomhall is rather limited in his detail of events particularly the length of time he has had the goods in his property and the fact that the individual who fitted the goods did not notice this damage prior and/or while fitting the fireplace suite. At this stage we are still awaiting further images from Mr Broomhall so the matter can be resolved with ourselves and the manufacture.

Fabulous prices & service!

We ordered a gas fire from Fires2U because they offered what we wanted for the best price. It was easy to place the order, and they sent the fire out to us pretty quickly. Unfortunately when we unpacked the fire, we realised that one of the components was damaged, but Fires2U swiftly arranged for a replacement part to be sent out straight away without any fuss. We would happily use them again ourselves, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Having found this site after I had ordered from this company .....recived an email to arrange delivery and thats when the problem was found ..rang them to sort out a delivery ....the extremly rude unhelp woman who answered tbe phone has absolutely no customer service skills ..she talks over you and will be very rude and un helpfull ...finally I realised I was getting no were with her I asked to talk to a manager .......his attitude was even worse it was a case of tough ....I explaI ed that people do work his attitude was fine pay for timed delivery then ......ok I was given an over inflated price of 23 quid just to confirm a morning delivery which was no use ...they refuse to deliver to a work address or my parents house which left me not knowing what to do ...his answer was ok cancell your order and your money will be back in my acccount that day which we all know is rubbish ..it takes 2 -3 days to credit an account ...his attitude was shocking ....in the end I resounded my self to driving 50 mile round trip to pick it up from city link .....all this because he reckoned it could not be left in a safe place .....but on the monday I rang city link myself and the were really helfull and left it in a safe plave agreed by me .....so warning if they ask you for extra money for timed delivery just ring the courier direct ......this firm really needs some lessons in CUSTOMER SERVICES as its non exsistant ...............

Cheapest prices and good customer service

Just bought a hole in the wall gas fire from Fires2U. Used them as they quoted the cheapest price for the fire I wanted. Arrived in a few days. The glass panel was broken but after contacting Fires2U I had a replacement panel by the end of the week. Can't fault the service and would definately recommend them. Well done Fires2u.

Fires2u provide great value and service

They gave great help over the phone. No problems ordering and the fire arrived quickly. A small part was damaged and they replied immediately to my email and had a replacement part
sent out immediately. The fire looks fabulous and is better than expected. Thank you Fires2u.

The worst customer service you will find!

I see the people that have been fortunate enough to receive there item without an issue are happy. I can only assume they have never had to call them about issues because the Woman on the phone has the worst customer services you will find anywhere. The fire we ordered was delivered to the wrong address then when finally it was delivered it was severely damaged. The box was open and parts inside were bent. We called them immediately and their attitude is basically tough. She claims my 85 year old granddad has picked up the fire and broken it. Fortunately for us and the rest of the World we have distance selling regulations which they seem unfamiliar with. I would seriously look elsewhere for a fire AVOID!

Thanks for the above comments, the below gentleman has not ordered a gas fire from us he however he has contacted us on behalf of his father-in-law. Though none of his details are on our online system we have dealt with him and asked the following information via email yesterday evening when he first contacted us via email to report damage when our office was closed, as well as verbally via phone when he swore at our Manager and then again via email this morning so we can resolve this issue for his father-in-law.

As you can see from the email we have sent to Mr Dunbar no accusation has been made about the product being damaged by the customer and this was again stated via phone, we simply asked him to respond to our emails so we can organise city link our courier service to pick up the goods from the delivery address.
