it was one of the least expensive hotels, we were pleasantly surprised! Lovely walk along the coast to the harbor where we had a wonderful dinner!

I booked the Star & Garter hotel with Eurobookings nearly a year in advance for a reunion event and everything was quick, easy, and 100% correct.
I also got a good price for my booking so could not be more pleased with the outcome.
I have already booked the same hotel for next year with Eurobookings once more.

A good clean place to stay with good car parking facilities.
Food was good. Just a note to say breakfast starts at 8am every day which I found a little late compared to other places although in my case it was a Sunday.
Location was excellent as it faced the Cathedral and was also very quiet.

We use this hotel when going north and have not been disappointed yet,but must remember to book a king size in future.

At top of the companies 5stars. I was impressed with the efficient way business was conducted and would recommend the company without reservation.

Why did the hotel made us pay for 5 days although I wanted a cancellation for the last day since there's going to be a slight change in the purpose of my stay, thus staying for 4 days instead of 5 days?

The explanation by the hotel that we can't change our reservation once its made which sounded somewhat deceitful and contrary to what we saw while booking online, that is regarding the question, "How to cancel or change your booking"; and the answer, "You can always view, change or cancel your booking online with My Booking".

The booking online was easy. The hotel was good too. I would have given 5stars if there was a possibility of a cancellation clause -not that I needed to cancel but it would have been good to have one available. I dont know whether this is hotel policy or Eurobookings.
