I ordered a tag well in advance
I ordered a tag well in advance, it then took about a week before I was asked to verify my account and DD.
I was then notified that it was out for delivery. No notification of which carrier . Turns out it is Royal Mail and has to be signed for - which is very difficult if you work. Also I ticked normal delivery thinking I had plenty of time but because of the delay in getting the authorisation to me it is probable that I will not get it in time. Contacted customer support who suggested I ordered another tag for next day delivery and then return the old one. Expensive and not very helpful.

We are sorry for the confusion in you placing your order, we would like to point out the following, we are unable to dispatch your tag until you click on the link in the validation email you received immediately upon subscribing. If this link is not clicked follow up reminders are sent to you. On the application form in the postage option, we do state the carrier we use is Royal Mail. Tags are only dispatched Monday-Friday excluding bank holidays, so if you validate your account over a weekend the tag will not be dispatched until the next working day.

Despite paying a premium to have the tag delivered the next day - which should have been Thursday 2nd of April, we’re now on Saturday and it still hasn’t arrived - Royal Mail carriers, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised? However, we leave first thing Monday, so no tag to use on the tolls.

Emovis has lost our account
Emovis tag died halfway through a short trip on a French motorway, the first we've made for a couple of months. The first barrier opened, the second didn't, queue of traffic behind us on the fast track channel, and we had to use the ticket payment option for the return journey. When I tried to order a new tag, their site didn't recognise my password. Chatbot told me to do 'forgotten password' using my normal email. It doesn't recognise that, yet continues to send me emails to that same address reminding me to order replacement tag before the holidays etc. To be fair, their chatbot is more sophisticated than most and you can have a 'proper' conversation with it, but the recommendation is still to phone during office hours Mon - Fri 10h00 - 15h00.

We’re glad you noticed the chatbot’s capabilities, but we also appreciate your feedback about the need for more reliable account support. When requesting a link to reset your password our system asks that you enter your username the issue may be that your email address is not your username this may have been why you got the message "could not find your user account"

Replacement tag
Just had our 3rd replacement tag in super fast time. Service as efficient as ever. If only every company could have your work ethic. We've enjoyed the hassle free use of our tag, whilst travelling through France. Saves the front passenger having to dangle out of the window. Our grown up children both use them now too.

Quick, easy and straightforward tag change
Our existing tag's battery expired so i prepared myself to start the process to get it changed. I expected it to be a complicated and bureaucratic, with lots of forms and uploads needed. How wrong i was. Very straightforward to both return and get a new tag. Arrived within 2 days which was quicker than we expected. They also offer the parking permit disc (not a blue badge but looks similar) to enable you to park in the free parking zones In Europe. Plus other stickers for you headlights too.
