ELFI customer service = BEST IN CLASS
Refinancing with Elfi was super simple, and I’m glad I chose Elfi, most importantly - because their customer service is top-notch. Years after paying off my loans, Mohela changed their accounting systems, and my loans seemed to reappear magically - this was very stressful. But a specialty servicing coordinator, Morgan McWilliams, really helped me resolve the matter by proactively following up with Mohela for OVER A YEAR. Super easy experience
Refinancing my student loans was extremely easy and I got a fantastic rate. This is the second time I have used ELFI and once again they have proven to me that they are the best in the industry.

Stan Mitchell and the ELFI experience
I worked with Stan Mitchell to refinance my loans from 10 years before, lowering my required payments and interest rates at a time when my income and credit score had improved quite a bit. I refinanced 60k and paid it down in 3 years; it wasn't easy! Afterward, I paid down all my Stafford Loans (an additional $25k) and got a mortgage on my first home, with 20% down. I really appreciate how Stan made the experience easier with all the documentation needed. He was responsive and helpful beyond the call of duty.

I didn't realize how much I was losing with my student loan, I applied for refinancing and was approved the same day with a third of the interest rate and my monthly payment almost cut in half! I am so relieved, my monthly payments before were a huge strain on me. I haven't gotten everything switched over yet so I can only review the process before the disbursement to my old lender, but so far it's been great. An employee (Stan) emailed me immediately and gave me genuine information and replies, rather than them having an auto generated email to applicants. I am super relieved and happy to have found ELFI.

Seamless experience from end-to-end
They had the best interest rate, which was the initial hook. Then, the whole process was quite seamless. I worked with someone named Stan who was extremely kind, communicative, and understanding. Would recommend ELFI to anyone looking to refinance their loans.
