Fantastic quick search engine. Has been my default search engine for a few years now. Doing your bit for the planet is a pull factor to use this search engine also, would highly recommend it!

I love Ecosia and the fact that I'm planting trees searching the internet - Ecosia however is not a very good search engine, and when I want a more serious search, I just write "Google" on Ecosia and then start my search there - then I'm still one search closer to planting a tree ;-)
- (not too happy about the new look though, miss the old one)

Really easy to use and shows you how much your searches contribute to trees. It also has a nice and blocker, incognito tabs and other good settings options.

The only thing I don't like about it is you can't add pages to your home screen on mobile or set the incognito tab as the default when you open the app.

Très bonne initiative mais manque un peu plus de pertinence dans les recherches : certains résultats date d'il y a longtemps

The quality of search results is helpful and I am glad that I’m helping to plant trees. Uniquely, they also have a youtube channel showing where they plant trees so it’s legit. It can be a bit a bit slow or you have to re-search but overall, great,p. Keep up the good work 👍 Ecosia

This is more of a malware acting serch engine! it poped up on my conputer and cant delete it regarless of what I do! I never dowloaded it either!

Sehr gute Firma, ebenfalls aus Berlin. Spenden den Großteil Ihrer Einnahmen und sind eine Vorzeige-Organisation. Einziger Nachteil, ihre Suche basiert auf Microsofts Bing (die Suchergebnisse könnten verbessert werden) und die Privatsphäre ist leider noch nicht so weit wie DuckDuckGo. Trotzdem 5 Sterne von mir für Ihr Engagement und ihre Vorbildrolle.

Just a really bad search engine. They supposedly plant trees when you search, but you’ll end up having to go somewhere functional to search again. If you care about planting trees do it yourself and use a real search engine.

Considerando quante ricerche si fanno ogni giorno, è un peccato non sfruttare questa opportunità per fare del bene all'ambiente e a noi stessi. Per di più evitando di regalare i nostri dati di profilazione all'IA di Google...

Please change the design to the previous one…it had a refreshing and pretty look whilst also reflecting on your goal for promoting environmentalism. I dislike the new design not only in terms of colour and appearance, but also because it is not the sort of design you’d easily identify and say “Oh, that’s of Ecosia!”. It has no special charm to it unlike the previous one..

Ecosia has a great concept and I fully support it, so well made and an amazing idea! I love it and have been using Ecosia as my main search engine since their early days.
But I must say that the new design is...just awful!! I have never been big on fancy looks but this new design disturbs me. The old look was so beautiful and perfect for what Ecosia is all about. I wonder what other users are thinking about this...what about a survey!

Mi experiencia es muy buena con este buscador, de hecho últimamente ha cambiado la interfaz.

Deseo de todo corazón que realmente todos los árboles que se prometen y que dicen plantar, así sea, porque me parece una gran iniciativa. Confío en que así sea, porque sino... Poca confianza se va a transmitir a las personas para que lo utilicen. No obstante, es mi buscador favorito.

I think Ecosia is a great way to keep our planet healthy. But you know what would be even MORE helpful? If instead of planting all those trees, THEY REMOVED THE PLASTIC FROM THE OCEANS! It's really the plastic we need to worry about at the moment.
