Por fin, un buscador que ayuda el planeta y no solo a su propietario. Me encanta. Funcionan genial. Ahora voy a cambiar a su correo electrónico.

Gute Alternative zu Google und es braucht so wenig. Einfach nur ecosia.org eingeben anstatt google.com -> sind genau gleich viele Zeichen und der Impact und die Auswirkungen sind positiv für alle (ausser vielleicht für Google). Eine gute Idee, tolle Umsetzung, jemand der aus seiner Lebenserfahrung und den Erlebnissen etwas Gutes umgesetzt hat. Unterstützen wir doch das Bäume pflanzen. Wenn man mal nicht das gewünschte Ergebnis erhält dann kann man immer noch auf google ausweichen oder ChatGPT fragen.

Bonjour l’idée est bonne mais la pub je n’en peux plus à chaque ouverture de site j’en suis envahi et quand je veux la fermer je tombe sur le spot trop c’est trop je quitte ce moteur de recherche je peux comprendre que vous en avez besoin mais la plus possible

Les cinquantenaire pseudo informaticien qui ne font pas la différence entre navigateur et moteur de recherche vous diront qu'Ecosia c'est mauvais, que le support est dangereux, que le chemin d'accès revient à passer avant par un autre module etc, etc, bref.
Téléchargez un navigateur avec bloqueur de pub, fiable et sécurisé comme le lion orange par exemple pour ne pas citer de marque, et utilisez Ecosia comme moteur de recherche et vous serez parfaits, n'en déplaise à Jean-Michel Ordinateur.

Ich benutze Ecosia schon sehr lange. Bis jetzt habe ich keinen Unterschied zu Google und anderen US-Konsorten feststellen können. Eine wirklich gute europäische Alternative. Man braucht also die US-Konsorten nicht mehr.

Used to like Ecosia and use it exclusively for my searches - because Google became downright unusable due to its selling algorithms and AI "help" that isn't really helping.
Imagine my surprise when the developer of Ecosia decided to add AI to their, supposedly, ecologically-conscious product. I had to do a double-take. A feature no one asked for, based in technology that's consistently wrong and decimating the power and water supplies as we speak. You can't even "opt out" on the mobile app! You're tied to a useless, harmful feature - but that's okay, they will just plant more trees:)))) In their chase after tha market share, the Devs of Ecosia knowingly destroyed a good product. Won't be using it again.

I have been using Ecosia for years now, having switched over in an effort to begin moving away from Google's privacy issues and hard push for AI-generated tools. I was disappointed when I found out today that Ecosia had established its own AI-summary tool in the search engine. I was even more disappointed when, while trying to turn off this feature, the setting would reset every time I "saved" my preferences. I assume this problem will be fixed soon, or that if I made an Ecosia account my preferences would actually remain, but the fact that this AI tool is opt-out rather than opt-in in the first place just makes me think that Ecosia is going the way of everything else on the internet. I will not be using this search engine again.

Wohl ein Marketingscherz, mehr nicht. Angeblich deutsche Suchmaschine. Bei Einstellung der Suchergebnis sowohl Deutschland als auch deutsche Sprache sind fast 70 % der Ergebnisse in englischer Sprache oder anderer und nicht aus Deutschland.
Einfach nur Schrott und nicht zu gebrauchen.

Pour moi, le moteur de recherche qui allie la protection des données privées et un bilan carbone neutre ce qui indique leur volonté à prendre soin de notre planète avant même de planter des arbres.
A associer à tout plein d'autres services qui préservent vos infos et reversent une partie de leurs bénéfices à des projets de restauration de la planète.

Com a buscador crec que és interessant per buscar informació genèrica. El concepte ecologic que destinen part dels beneficis, és tot un exemple per tots els altres buscadors, que si volem un món millor per tots, tots hem de fer un pas. No li puc posar 4 estrelles, ja que el meu idioma, el Català, no hi és com opció, una llàstima que faria per mi i molts fós el nostre buscador de 5 estrelles.

Nutze Ecosia wirklich täglich und finde es einfach eine gute Alternative.

Ich nutze Ecosia, weil es eine nachhaltige Suchmaschine ist, und mir das wichtig ist.

Ehrlich gesagt sind die Suchergebnisse jedoch schlecht. Meistens muss man mehrere Seiten der Suchergebnisse durchforsten und hat immer noch kein passendes Ergebnis. Bei Google bin ich zu 90% auf der ersten Seite der Suchergebnisse fündig geworden; über die zweite Seite hinweg bin ich eigentlich nie gekommen. Es ist ein merkbarer Unterschied zu Google. Ich wünsche mir die Präzision von Google zurück, und habe schon mehrfach überlegt, zu wechseln.

Zuletzt habe ich immer häufiger direkt ChatGPT gefragt, wenn ich „nur etwas wissen wollte“, weil ich deutlich schneller das bekomme, was ich brauche.

Dans le fond, c'est une bonne chose. Mais quand je cherche un sujet précis, ecosia est incapable de le trouver. De plus, chaque fois que je cherche wikipedia, il me met wikipedia dans toutes les langues, sauf le français.

I could not even find news articles I was searching for, which I could find via other search engines, results were limited in number but one thing was very clear though they use bing as infrastructure whom already do quite some policing ecosia adds some more policing no matter what you do.
If news is censored, I cannot trust them. Especially in these times.

Ecosia is a good search engine because it helps the environment however it doesn't compare to google or Microsoft Bing because of its lack of AI and poor answers as it does give it to you it just lists websites, and you have to find the information yourself. Its good if you want to be ecofriendly but bad if you are researching stuff in general.

Brilliant idea, and fun to use!

Only downside is that search results seem to be based on Bing, so not the very best. Often you end up needing Google anyway.

Its rubbish. My employer has adopted it for our corporate search engine, but the only thing I use it for now is to search for and open Google which is a bit of a ball-ache but at least I can find what I'm looking for before I need another haircut. Jeez Ecosia is slow!

Excelente iniciativa. Yo lo he usado por mas de 1 año y creo que es una idea extraordinaria para contribuir con tu granito de arena a esta crisis ecológica mundial y ademas con una actividad que casi todos hacemos de forma cotidiana.

Excellent, ca permet de ne pas se faire espionner par google, par contre passer par yahoo pour les pubs c'est un peu embêtant

Non riesco più ad effettuare l'accesso e da parecchio tempo non funziona il contatore dei "propri" alberi: credo debbano rimediare in fretta perché è proprio l'incentivo principale per gli utenti
