Très bon moteur de recherche,
En gros c'est Google sauf que ça plante des arbres. Et franchement, vu que c'est pareil que Google, autant planter des arbres. 🌳

Mi sto trovando veramente bene, capisco il fatto che hanno tolto il contatore di alberi del singolo utente perché effettivamente poteva sembrare complicato essere precisi, apprezzo però che in compenso hanno aggiunto il numero di alberi che, in media, fa piantare un utente di un determinato livello, invece il numero di alberi piantati da Ecosia si può sempre vedere sulla homepage, come i soldi dedicati ad azioni per il clima. Se si parla di funzionalità, il browser credo sia basato su chromium quindi ha parecchie funzionalità base di cui un utente potrebbe necessitare, il motore di ricerca non è male.
Ottimo browser e motore di ricerca per chi vuole fare qualcosa di concreto per il pianeta facendo azioni quotidiane, come una ricerca su internet.

Claims to work for the environtment, but is investing money into useless AI systems, which harm the environment.

Furthermore, Ecosia can't filter out AI results, which makes it completly useless.

I love using Ecosia. This search engine is complete: you can search everything as others but instead of being interested in merely selling your data away it actually care about our planet by planting trees. I was skeptical at first but they are very transparent and I am 100% happy with this choice now. They are also working to build a European search index, which is very important to me. Thanks for being here, Ecosia.

L'obiettivo ecologico mi fa preferire questo motore a google, ma come mai le cifre di alberi piantati e fondi destinati per il clima dal motore Ecosia è invariato da anni? Le ricerche di immagini risultano povere di contenuti coerenti

Funktioniert prima, liefert mir alles, was ich brauche, und wenn es on top noch tut, was es sagt, umso besser.

Ecosia is a great browser!
In my opinion, it is on the same level as Google, and most of their money goes towards planting trees. That really is incredible. I've had no issues with it whatsoever and all the results come up that are useful. It's so fast as well!

Concerned about the climate change impact of AI in Google searches so shifted to Ecosia. Very happy with it.

L'elenco dei preferiti non è stabile e spesso torna all'inizio da solo senza alcun comando e bisogna tornare al punto che si stava analizzando, manualmente e con forte disagio.

Europäische Alternative zu Google, die noch dazu klimapositiv ist - schon allein deshalb nutze ich Ecosia sehr gerne. Die Qualität der Suchergebnisse ist gut. Einziges Manko: Die News-Suche funktioniert bei mir schon seit längerem nicht mehr.

Too annoying! It keeps resetting my account so all the points I get are lost! This is the third time it's happened so that's it for me! And the search engine isn't as good as some others. I was only using it because of the tree planting, but who knows if that's really happening???

Used this before 2022 and it was good until the tree counter disappeared. It’s alright now but you csnt keep track of how many tres you planted and it doesn’t give you that feeling of achievement

Four words ; Blantantly refuses to work.
And I know this can't just be me that whenever I try to search something using Ecosia it says "Web page blocked! You have tried to access a web page which belongs to a category that is blocked." I know it can't just be me, because if you look into the security certificate, the "Issued To:" and "Issued By" both say "Fortiguard SDNS Blocked Page".

Ecosia used to be my go to browser & homepage, mainly because they plant trees, but also because it's not Google spyware.

I even have the extension with Ecosia set as my homepage.

But recently it has become user hostile demanding cloudflare verification EVERY time it is launched, to the point that it is becoming unusable. This is only on the desktop version, not on the mobile version.

If you are security conscious enough to close your browser regularly and clear your history & browsing data, e.g. after a financial transaction, then you will likely find this new Ecosia default highly irritating.

I am on the verge of removing the extension because of this & changing to another search engine.

So well done Ecosia team, fewer trees will be planted, because of your stupid & unnecessary default.

Threw their credibility away when they forced AI use on users.

They could have been a real beacon of hope in the ai-degenerated search space but NOPE!

They should add some updates
