My dehumidifier was delivered ok but I was disappointed when after I had paid for the item I then received a request for £18 to cover delivery. On the website it said delivery, postage and packing free of charge. If there was an extra payment then I feel this should have been on website or at checkout. They did know my address and postcode then. I do live on mainland Britain.

Thank you for your review and for ordering your dehumidifier with us. We’re pleased your delivery arrived safely, but we’re very sorry for the frustration caused by the additional delivery charge.
To explain, our courier classifies your postcode as part of Zone 2, which they label as outside mainland UK. Unfortunately, this incurs a surcharge of £18 that comes directly from them. The option to select this is available at checkout with lis of postcode which have different charge, but we completely understand that it could have been clearer. We’re already working on improving how this information is displayed so it’s more transparent for customers in the future.
We really appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve both our service and communication. Thank you again for your order and for giving us the chance to clarify.
DC26 promises to match my old DC02
I bought the new DC26, over 11 years after buying our still working DC02. EcoAir doesn’t create much noise on the Internet or social media but neither does the new DC26. The unit does its job perfectly without fuss.
I considered other manufacturers based on online reviews but ultimately decided to stick with a tried and tested British company.

Excellent customer service
After my unit developed a fault after 10 years use, I was pleased to be able to chat over the options for servicing or replacement with a technical engineer, Aaron, who answered all my questions promptly and knowledgeably! My unit is back working now but I won't hesitate to replace it with an EcoAir at the end of its life.

Excellent Dehumidifier and service
I ordered the Dehumidifier unit, which arrived on time and it was nicely packaged. As requested it was placed in my safe place at the rear of the house as we were out at the time of delivery.
The unit works very well altho' I do find the operation instruction and control buttons etc, more difficult to use than the previous model I had.

Delivery was within time scale and…
Delivery was within time scale and units have been installed and are working well, the display showing RH set point RH actual levels and area temperature are easy to see and gives good feedback as to how the unit is operating.
Only time will tell if there operation as a De-humidifier is as good as the units look.

Impressive service and product
From the customer service to the delivery of the dehumidifier we ordered the co. exceeded our expectations. We were particularly impressed by the tracking and follow up to our delivery: the co. knew that our parcel had been delivered and asked us to let them know if it had failed to arrive. If only all cos. offered this, online buying would be a better experience.

Absolutely dreadful..they told me my dehumidifier needed a service and repair, after they had asked for a video of the problematic machine to be sent to their technician for assessment, I then received a list of what to do and if I failed there will be a charge incurred for each.. Firstly dont miss the courier, , Second..if it is deamed to have no fault..after the same technician who had asked for the video, and suggested a repair, decided it was fault free, I would have to pay for its return. WHY? They said it was faulty..all this within the warranty timescale.
They booked a collection for my dehumidifier. FOUR TIMES!!! Parcel Force did not turn up. Two days sitting in all day, lost income. I asked could I claim my day rate from them, surely these rules work both ways?
The next two occasions I had to use holidays, as I was told if I missed the collection I would have to pay.
If I cancelled the collection, 24 hours before I would be charged.
Now an email tells me I need to get my own courier....I need to pay for that!
I am sure they are not paying Parcel Force the correct rate for a collection, so Parcel Force rejects their requests when a request for a collection is made..they are arranging a collection service but not paying the going rate, doing it on the cheap. Hoping customers will end up paying for their own courier. But 'Oh lucky me' they will not charge me for a service and repair, if I get the machine to them, after their four failed attempts, and me two days income and two days holiday down the Swanee. Why would I be paying for a repair and service? It was their suggestion, again within the warranty time. Honestly Don't Bother! It's dreadful..really dreadful. Costco have better models on offer and their return policy is exceptional..

We’re truly sorry for the frustration caused by the repeated failed Parcelforce collections. We completely understand the disruption this has caused you, and it’s never the experience we want for our customers.
While we book and pay for the collection service, the collections themselves are carried out by Parcelforce and are unfortunately outside of our direct control. We raised cases with them after each missed attempt, but the issue persisted, which is why we suggested arranging your own courier, purely to avoid further delays, not to avoid our responsibilities.
For clarity, you weren't going to be charged for a missed collection as the issue stemmed from our courier rather than you, and our technical team had already confirmed from your video that there was a fault with the unit. This means you were also not at risk of being charged for a “no fault found” diagnosis.
Your unit is still fully covered under warranty, and we will repair it and return it to you at no cost once it reaches our service centre. However, we will contact you from support@ecoairgb.com with your ticket number so we can work with you to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

Great machine
Ordering was easy and my Ecoair DC18 MK2 arrived before predicted, nice looking machine but I couldn’t get it to work on auto only on laundry mode. I’ve never had a dehumidifier before so emailed Ecoair with my problem Aaron came back to me very quickly and explained why this was happening and gave me a couple of things to do, I now understand how it works and it’s great

Reliable and effective dehumidifier
Just bought my third Ecoair DD3 Simple (previous two were DD322 models) as a replacement for the first one bought well over 5 years ago and which has run continuously without problems. The unit is used in a cellar and has kept it dry with the tank generally needing emptying about every week to 10 days on the 'single drop' 70% humidity setting. A simple and reliable device with which I have been very satisfied.
