I requested information regarding spare parts for a De-humidifier on a Saturday and received a reply immediately even though office hours were Mon - Fri. Bought EvoAir Apollo from a Retailer.
As per other reviews window fixing kit totally rubbish. A very noisy unit despite night mode and also better instructions for remotes. Cools room by 5/6 degrees within an hour but when it’s super hot weather it’s still quite hot as soon as you turn it off. But it’s a good unit. The pipe to draw water from looks fiddly but not yet had to do this

We’re pleased to hear that your EcoAir Apollo is cooling the room effectively, particularly achieving a reduction of around 5–6°C within an hour.
We’re sorry that some aspects of the experience have not fully met your expectations. Portable air conditioners do contain both a compressor and fan, so some operational noise is unavoidable even when using Night Mode, although the setting is designed to make overnight operation more comfortable.
With regard to the window kit, suitability can vary depending on the style and size of the window. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking at ways we can improve the accessories and instructions supplied with our products.
It is also normal for a room to gradually warm again once an air conditioner is switched off, particularly during very hot weather, as heat can re-enter through windows, walls and other areas of the property.
If you would like any help with the window installation, remote-control functions, drainage or getting the best performance from your Apollo, please contact our Customer Support Team and we will be more than happy to assist.

Avoid Eco Air Customer Service is poor
The main ac unit performs ok, and was purchased from a retailer, but the window kit was bought direct and arrived with broken split ends in the plastic. I immediately took photos and emailed customer service, and got the response that I had split the plastic by inserting something too large into the holes - all I had done was unwrap them!
I'd also realised that they were pretty much useless for the majority of windows in the UK, and said knew I'd have to return them, but I didn't want them to think I'd done the damage, when all I had done was unwrap and take them out of the box.
I will now be required to attempt a refund from my bank using their consumer protection services.
I'd avoid EcoAir at all costs!

When our Technical Team initially reviewed the issue, the assessment was based on the photographs provided to us. From images alone, we can only comment on what is visible, and in this case the damage appeared consistent with the openings having been enlarged. However, we appreciate that photographs do not always provide the full picture.
We have since reviewed your case again internally, and your refund request is currently being reviewed and progressed by our team. We are actively looking into the matter and will contact you directly with the next steps.

Main unit is excellent. Vent accessories less ideal.
Review based on a a few weeks of occasional use on really hot days. The machine looks and feels well made and controls are straightforward and easy to use. Cools room down in a reasonable time. The vent accessories are less pleasing - the window kit doesn't lend itself to intermittent use and is too fiddly to fix. The 'flexible hose' isn't really all that flexible and seems to come detached from the machine adaptor clip rather easily. Also is not compatible with standard 150mm duct fittings.

Free and fast delivery
Free delivery, which was also quick. Pleased with fan, it has a good range of fan settings. The extra features, such as, height adjustment and timer are very useful and easy to change with the remote control. It is also fairly quiet.

Very quiet solid fan and has 12 speed settings, in the extreme hot weather I only need setting upto 6 and that was more than enough for me.
Easy to assemble and set-up and has useful remote.
It is pricey but it uses low watt power, so is efficient in its energy usage.

Very impressed with the help I received placing my Ecoair equinox online order. Very happy the fan was delivered today even though it is Saturday! It has saved me and my guests, as it's like a sauna upstairs. The only slight drawback.... It wasn't terribly straight forward putting it together and I had to call for assistance.
It's up and running now in silent mode and thoroughly enjoying it!
Unfortunately they are now sold out as my friend would also like to buy the same one :)

Swift delivery which was great in the midst of a heatwave. Reasonably priced and very effective at cooling down an area. Choice of settings as well as a remote control, oscillating or fixed position.

Positive Customer Care
We were kept well informed by staff member Joshua during the challenge of a dehumidifier having arrived damaged in transit, followed by the replacement of the wrong type of dehumidifier for a listed building, and finally the successful delivery of the correct dehumidifier and the removal of the incorrect one. Yes, it was quite a journey and Joshua kept us informed promptly and fully.
