Shocking service - products not as advertised - don’t reply to emails - no interest in dealing with issues - now having to revert to legal action via credit card company to sort this out …

Disgrace of a company, don't fulfil their orders, still waiting... Going to contact my credit card company and report them

THIS IS AN UPDATE. They are are also known as The Beatles Store. Ordered the LET IT BE picture disc in August. It arrived on Friday, 15th October and skipped from the very beginning when I tried to play it. It was extremely disappointing. I suspect I may not the only one in this position so if anyone has bought one as a Christmas present, get it out now and check it just to avoid any disappointments on Christmas Day. I emailed them and received an automated reply saying they are very busy and it may be some time before I hear from them. I thought this might be yet another company which is lightning fast to take your money and super slow to respond when there is a problem. However, it went much better than that, I received a pleasant reply within 3 working days saying a replacement would be sent immediately and there was no need to return the faulty copy. The replacement arrived today, exactly one week after the faulty one which I think is pretty good. It plays as perfectly as you can expect a picture disc to play. You can't blame Digital Stores for a sealed record being faulty; it was clearly poor manufacturing. I would certainly use them again.

Horrible experience. Cancelled my order and it took them over the course of a 9 days to inform me that it was just a hold that was going to be released from my account in a couple of days. I didn't appreciate that there was like 6 employees (probably fake) that I was dealing with. Kira, Serena, Alison etc. It was very frustrating because when the person handling my case would change, it would seem like I would have to re-iterated myself about the situation and start at point zero. I would just stay away from the brand and general and stick to getting your merchandise from Hot Topic or other stores. It sucks though because most artists use this platform, but I can't go through a bad company filled with bad practices again.

Ordered months ago, did not receive my order. Contacted them multiple times, by email, facebook, all options. Only auto replies that they will reply soon to me. But nothing...

Sadly for both the customer and the music bands, this company seem to have no regard for either.
I ordered items more than a month ago. I complained at 3 weeks having received no communications.
I was then told they were waiting on one item but had no idea when it would be in stock.
So the item should not have been available to buy on their website.
So as they hadn't contacted me I suggested they sent me everything they had if the order. This they refused to do as I had paid for all items to be sent at the same time.
I feel let down, still have received nothing and still haven't had further communication since I wrote to them.
The problem is, the biggest bands in the world use this company to sell their official merchandise from their official site.
Not a good situation

I haven't ordered anything from this shower and was contacted today by my credit card company flagging up a potential fraud. My card supplier app provides me details of purchases in real time and this appeared on my phone at the same time as the text from the credit card company flagging it up.
I hadn't used this card for some time so knew immediately that I hadn't made a purchase and the credit card company confirmed the details of the last 2 genuine transactions. They have stopped the payment and blocked them from trying to take more money.

To add to the 93% 1-star reviews already collected by Trust Pilot, here is my 1-star experience:

Several months ago, I placed an order on one of the numerous top music artists websites managed by the subpar e-commerce company Digital Stores Co UK.

2 months have passed since I received an automated email stated my package has been dispatched…
But I have not received any package since then.

To date, what I have well received however, is a collection of fabricated reasons spread over about ten e-mails, including:
- “Delay due to Brexit.”
- “Warehouse and couriers work on the issue.”
- “Still investigating the issue.”
- “Order has been returned.”
- “Order has been resent.”
- “Order has not yet been dispatched.”
- “Order has been arranged to be resent.”
- “Due to high volumes, delay in shipping items.”
- “Order currently in our warehouse being picked ready for dispatch.”
- “Due the global outbreak of Coronavirus, delays due to high volumes.”
- “Order stuck to an IT issue.”

Next to these standard fabricated reasons, I have of course not been given any tracking number.

Further, there is no continuity in who replies to your complain; meaning either that there is no ownership of customer satisfaction issues among their staff… or that e-mails are undersigned at random with faked names - such as "Kira", "Serena", "Sophie", "Alison", "Millie"...
And there is of course no way to get someone on the phone, nor to chat with.

So... you have been warned one more time not to order on any of the artists sites managed by Digital Stores!

It appears this is just one subsidiary of a large company that professes to be "Queen official store". Despite them displaying two levels of p&p they only charge the higher rate at checkout. My friend insisted on an item from them for her birthday so I had no choice I ended up paying for a small parcel for a face mask that will fit in a small envelope. There customer service responded after two emails and a week with this.

"Unfortunately, we have not been provided with any further information other than that shown on the store.

We apologise that we were not able to assist you further on this occasion."

So they don't even respond themselves just the larger group.

They may sell "official goods" but be aware there are far more beautifully made and packaged goods elsewhere.

Unbelievably APPALLING lack of any service whatsoever!! This company should not be permitted to operate. I placed an order with The Sound of Vinyl for delivery to an address in the Republic of Ireland (for which contact details including telephone numbers were provided) on 25 February this year. Delivery was to follow as soon as possible. There has been no communication from Digital Stores or The Sound of Vinyl since apart from their standard responses to my subsequent emails expressing my concerns about non-receipt of the merchandise - that is until I received the email below on 3 June.
"Hi, Unfortunately your order has been returned to us by the courier as they were unable to deliver it to you. We can confirm that you have been refunded and the payment will process within 3-5 working days. Please note once an order has been returned to us we are unable to issue a replacement.
If the order is still required please place a new order via the store. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

It has taken long over 3 months for The Sound of Vinyl and Digital Stores to reach this point during which you have held my payment before finally refunding it yesterday with this inadequate email response. No point of contact or opportunity to speak with someone directly at any point as no contact telephone number is ever provided. For the "record", there was NO attempt by a courier to deliver to the address or contact the recipient at any point. This is an appalling lack of service and a Zero Star rating - were it possible - would be too generous. I can see from the 93% 1 Star rating of service here that my experience is very much the standard one. Both The Sound of Vinyl and Digital Stores deserve to be investigated by the Ombudsman and taken to account for how they operate. This has cost me an incredible waste of valuable time which I hope that on reading this, others will be spared. Dr C

Total scam! Bought a record last November and never got it. Sent several emails and always got a run around and now no reply.

Auf der Suche nach einer speziellen limitierten CD-Edition, die bei hiesigen Anbietern schon ausverkauft war, bin ich auf die Digital Stores gestoßen. Dort wurde der Artikel als lieferbar zu einem guten Preis angeboten. Nach mittlerweile mehr als einem Monat Wartezeit und zwischenzeitlicher Nachfrage nach dem Lieferstand kann ich nur festhalten: Digital Stores verfügte offenbar gar nicht über den Artikel und bemüht sich nach eigenen Angaben um eine Nachlieferung vom Produzenten und bittet um Geduld. Eine Nachlieferung ist bei der limitierten Edition aber unrealistisch. Insofern war das ein Fake-Angebot. Ich habe nun bei PP einen Fall eröffnet mit Rückforderung der Zahlung für nicht gelieferte Ware.
Digital Stores - ein Versuch und kein zweiter!

On January 15 2021 Sir Tom Jones let us now on Instagram that we could pre-order his new album hand signed. I immediately placed my order. After 5 months waiting I received an e-mail from Digital Stores CS UK that my order was cancelled. The courier couldn't deliver it to my home they told me. When I asked them for more information they supplied me with a tracking number which stated that my order was send to an address in Daventry UK and was signed for by a guy named Sergei. They obviously made a mistake by sending my order to the wrong address. Although they have refunded me, they are unwilling to send the items I ordered to my address in The Netherlands. I'm now very disappointed, because after months of waiting I'm left with no (signed) album.

Absolutely terrible every single time. No accountability. Orders just don't get dispatched on time or with the courier service paid for. Items don't turn up for months, if at all.

They are a disaster - parcels get lost and are never handed over to currier company.

Unfortunately they are the only ones where you can order special merchandise from your favorit artist.

I ordered 2 months ago and they lost my order... I paid extra for a courrier and still nothing. They promised to provide a tracking number and I didn't get anything. They don't have a phone number. They answer quickly but without much help. I hope they really review the feedback on this page as I saw only 1 review with more than 1 star.

Terrible company. Do not waste your time ordering from them. My experience, I ordered a cd in Oct 2020 that was to be released in end of Nov 2020. Time passed I got busy checked late Dec 2020 and it showed pending no notice advising of delay complete silence. Finally I put a dispute into Paypal and that is when they responded to advise a shipping delay. I gave them another chance they advised it would ship soon within 3-14 days. I gave them another month nothing came. I then requested a refund they advised refund would arrive within 3-5 business days nothing came. I reached out asking for refund they apologized and that day refund came to paypal. I find it hard to believe they are still in business, customer services is so important in these times for any business to survive. I do not expect them to be around for much longer.

Strange sales, no after sales....real art?

I never complain onLine or post something online but this company made me a bit frustrated!
Ordered a 4700,- euro print from Ronnie Wood from serie 10 x10, limited edition 10 pieces, I received the work no 6 of 15? So a bit strange with a limited edition of 10 pieces and ask them how this is possible, 4700,- euro is big money for a hand signed Ronnie Wood print only? Ask them for some explanation, or contact Ronnie Wood management for more info at least, the reaction I received feels like a big finger to me, and for me to solve this will be a matter of principle.
I don’t think Ronnie Wood appreciate buying clients treated this way?
When this case will be solved, I will inform trustpilot to update this message,

I made a purchase via the Digital Stores website. My money was taken but I didn’t get confirmation. I immediately tried to contact them but was repeatedly ignored. All email communication is a waste of time - they are less than helpful and refuse to accept that my contract was with them as the agent. Action Fraud and my bank have been informed.

SCAM ALERT!!
I have never heard of digitalstores.co.uk until now,
I have just lodged a case with PayPal after discovering this "company" charged me for an "item" I never bought. I didn't know they existed until I saw the fraudulent charge. After investigating it lead me here where other people have had similar experiences. I also discovered that they had charged me before
