Excellent service, the optometrist was very thorough and made me very relaxed during the test. Jay, handled the selling aspect very well and was very accommodating with what we wanted even though he was all alone.

Conact Lenses paid for and not received
I have used David Clulow for almost fifty years, and through its changes in ownership. For the past twenty or so I have used the Ken High Street Branch, and the quality of the optometrists is excellent. However the past two orders of contact lenses have been a disaster. The most recent order on 27 November is still not with me. Repeated emails to them went unanswered. Calls to them ring endlessly with no answer (they claimed their phones were order of order a few weeks ago- but even today their phone was not answered). Extremely frustrating.

This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, particularly to a long-standing customer who has supported David Clulow for so many years.
I will look into this personally and find out exactly what has happened with the order. I will also investigate why communication and phone access have not been as they should be.
We truly appreciate your loyalty and your kind words regarding the quality of our optometrists at the HSK branch. Your comments about the ordering and communication issues are taken very seriously, and we will use this to address and improve our processes.
I will get in contact with you on Saturday, as the store is closed on Christmas day and Boxing Day.

Fabulous service at the Nottingham…
Fabulous service at the Nottingham branch, The eye exam with gav as usual was fantastic, explains everything that he's doing and makes you feel very at ease, Takes his time to explain the issues I have. I didn't need to change my glasses this year but I was still made to feel great, Leanne gave my glasses a full check over tightening all screws and cleaning them and letting me know to come back anytime for us to clean them again and reminding me to bring in my care kit for a refill.
I was firstly welcomed into the store my Lumi who was very friendly and professional.

Excellent eye test and outstanding service – Watford
I had a great eye test at the David Clulow Opticians store in Watford. The optometrist was extremely professional and thorough, explained everything clearly, and made the appointment feel relaxed and reassuring. I left feeling confident in the results and advice provided.
After the eye test, Maarusah Ali was fantastic in helping me choose my new glasses. She was patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable, taking the time to understand what I wanted and offering honest, helpful advice. I never felt rushed, and her attention to detail really stood out.
Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend both the optometrist and Maarusah to friends and family.

A Pleasant Surprise: Cantonese-Speaking Optometrist in London
I arrived in London as a tourist—only to realize I had forgotten to bring my disposable contact lenses. I randomly chose David Clulow, and was surprised by how positive the experience turned out to be. After explaining my situation and mentioning that I didn't have a prescription with me, they were able to arrange a same-day eye test.
As someone from Hong Kong, I never expected to meet a Cantonese-speaking optometrist, but I was fortunate to be helped by Sam, who was extremely resourceful and professional. The eye test was more thorough than any I’ve had in Hong Kong, and the cost was very reasonable. I am very grateful to David Clulow for solving my problem and I highly recommend them—especially to anyone from the Chinese community or Chinese families in need of eye care in London.

Amar, the optician, has dealt with my complex prescription superbly. I have perfect vision, through both glasses and contact lenses. Just brilliant.
